2. Hayley Lee vs XinLin Khaw

Hayley:
(26, 5’6, 0:1 FCBA, Free Agent)

XinLin:
(28, 5’7, 0:1 FCBA, Free Agent)

Pre-fight:
Hayley and XinLin were silent through their interviews, As it seemed, both ladies weren’t interested in anything else other than redeeming their losses.

Hours later, Hayley entered the arena first, clad in white sports bra, red gloves and blue tights, hair tied up in a ponytail. XinLin entered with her hair tied in a bun, clad in turquoise sports bra and tights with blue gloves.

ROUND 1:
The two fighters circle as they come closer to each other, analyzing each other with their gloves up. Khaw and Hayley exchange a few test jabs to gauge each other's reach. The first minute sees both girls exchanging hits on the shoulders but Hayley manages to sneak in an uppercut that sends XinLin backpedaling. Khaw manages to reset her guard but Hayley charges in and builds momentum putting Khaw’s face behind a guard for most of the remaining round. The round ends in Hayley’s favor.

ROUND 2:
Khaw remains composed as she moves in to meet Hayley. Confident with her attack style, Hayley comes in with a flurry of punches putting Khaw on guard once more. However, rather than demoralizing the defensive fighter, the cornered cat fights back! Throwing a right hook that catches Hayley in the cheek, effectively switching roles. Khaw goes on attack, connecting a few blows to Hayley. Hayley remains focused, ducking left and right to avoid as many punches as possible. Hayley manages to hit a few counter-punches but is not able to stop XinLin.

ROUND 3:
Seeing how effective her attack was in the previous round, Khaw decides to stick with it and goes in hot on Hayley. Hayley tries to fight her off in an all out-brawl with both fighters exchanging equal amounts of leather. But a lapse of judgement allows Khaw to hit a right cross in Hayley’s face, sending her spiraling into the ropes. Last few seconds into the round, Khaw manages to soften Hayley up with a few clean shots to the belly and breasts before the bell rings. XinLin returns to her corner with her arms raised after a beautiful comeback.

ROUND 4:
Embarrassed by Khaw’s dominance over her a few moments ago, Hayley slaps her face as she comes out of her corner to refocus. XinLin comes out looking more comfortable and confident than before as she tries to land a few early shots, Hayley thwarts the attempt with her arms raised. Second minute in, Hayley parries a straight away and lands a left hook! Hayley charges in as Khaw retreats but Khaw returns in kind with a right straight to the face. Chest heaving, the pair takes a moment to clear their thoughts and formulate an attack plan. Hayley takes a page out of her former friend-turned rival, Jamie’s, book and lures XinLin in for an attack before counter punching her! While her technique is not as efficient as Jamie’s, it is enough to startle XinLin. Hayley lunges in to finish XinLin but her opponent is not going down without a fight. Mist of sweat spray in the air as both trade gloves to their faces. Last few seconds into the round, Khaw is losing steam as her punches begin to grow weaker and the bell rings. The round goes in Hayley’s favor.

ROUND 5:
Khaw is growing weary as she comes out of her corner. The small success from the second and third round got to her head and allowed Hayley to make a comeback. On the other side, the sweat-soaked Hayley returns with vigour after the break. Hayley charges in fearlessly, putting XinLin on defense immediately. Khaw tries to counter but the attempts mostly end up with her eating glove. Thereafter, her defenses begin to crumble, allowing land clean hooks to her face! The ref comes in to usher Hayley away as XinLin dangles on the ropes slightly before dropping on her side. The ref counts to 10 and the fight is over!

Official Decision: Hayley Lee wins by KO5!

AFTER:
Hayley is ecstatic after her win, slamming her gloves repeatedly as she parades with her arms raised. Meanwhile, the paramedic tends to her fallen opponent.
