Before: Barry ore without much mainstream exposure, but pundits wonder what she’s got left after years of nightclub scrapping with little or no supervision. Fishel the more polished ring product, nit threatened in what bettors sees as a clean walk for Dani. Fishel in blue sports bra, grey aerobics bottoms, Barrymore in white push up and bloomers.

During R1: Sporting touch of the gloves to start , then Dani gets down to business. Barrymore with a stiff jab, picks Dani up coming in, but punches too late to keep Fishel outside. Once in, it’s a more patient Dani than we’re used to, taking the time to get good solid leverage on hurtful hooks to Drew’s belly mound. Barrymore covering up, gives Dani her waist, and doesn’t offer much as Fishel gets her work in.

R2: More of the same: Dani with gloves high, bobs her way in to beat Drew about the ribs and tummy with smashing lefts and rights. Barrymore stepping out or pushing off, but not giving Dani angles to worry about--Fishel able to walk in and heave punches into the blonde’s midsection. Late in the round, Dani finally loops the left hook wide t the cheek, jolting Barrymore at the ropes as Fishel keeps her head down.

R3: Drew putting punches together,  but very robotic, telegraphing “jab, right hand, hook” with deliberate movements. Fishel bobbing low beneath the punches, comes back with spanking loud body shots, and forces Drew to the ropes for more beating. Round ends as Fishel fights of Drew’s chest, keeping the blonde’s arms in tight with a withering crush of lefts and rights to the body.

R4: Dani walks through a scraping uppercut to her face and bashes Drew’s head to the side with a looping right. Barrymore soaking up flush shots, standing too straight, and Fishel is leaning into looping bombs to the jaw that have Drew Staggering. Popping right hand to the face startles Drew, setting her up for a splattering left hook on the cheek, and Barrymore spins to the ropes. Glazes eyes stare helplessly as Drew tries to rise from the ropes, but Dani is on her with a pounding rain if right hands, finally bludgeoning Drew to her hands and knees, Barrymore beaten senseless beats the count, but the fight is waved off as she falters at the ref’s instructions to take a step forward. TKO4 Dani Fishel who finishes without a mark on her for one of the few times in her career.

After: Drew had the right idea about uppercuts, but failed to execute as Dani’s blitzing pressure had the blonde in her heels all night. Steady beat down produced a timely stoppage--Barrymore simply fielding too much leather, taking body shots she should have countered, and head shots she should have slipped or avoided.
