R2: Cam with a gorgeous step-in feint/straight right hand lead - smiting Gemma between the eyes, ringing up British buttocks. Diaz laughing as Arterton staggers backwards on her heels: pretty brunette stricken, forming hasty peek-a-boo as blonde wades in. Cam punching in a selection of straight right hands while dangling the left at her side - pretty pin-pointing stabs taking Gemma in her belly/between her mitts/betwixt her jugs until she hits ropes. Cam all lean and limber - weight on right leg/left hand low and outstretched/right at her hip - she's cuffing hooks/jotting in straight rights, leaning herself in and out on long, sinewy legs. Gemma open-mouthed - hands at temples as she tries to bob-and-weave blonde class. Cameron at play - smiling as she cuffs Gemma's ear or punches down at her tummy - limber torso moves and veteran anticipation making her immune to British receipts. 6 minutes in, Gemma's yet to land a serious punch: she's got a nasty shiner developing on her right eye for her trouble.

R3: Arterton competes - backing Cameron off with determined dip-n'-dig left hands to waist. Diaz circling, being leggy: Gemma composed - hands up/elbows in - she's turning, getting her jab out, slowly imposing order. Cam trying to slice in, but well-organized brunette waits-and-answers - beating out tic-tac-toe patterns on Cam's lean torso. Frustration for Diaz has her scowling: Gemma brightening as she takes her first points from a very flashy blonde.

R4: Cameron gets back to the business of shutting Arterton out. Diaz in and out all leggy and lissome, then really biting in with stiff punches. Jabs stabbing to Gemma's pretty face, busting her up; jagged left uppercuts dig at British ribs, denting in under the jugline; elastic right hands bounce off top of Gemma's skull - often measuring her for comeback rights. Cam especially pleased with a lanky palm-down right she's parking in Gem's leftside lats/armpit with spanking regularity: British girls cringing on receipt as blonde dances away untouched after scoring.

R5: Good news for Arterton - she's not shut out; bad news for Arterton - she's widely outfought. Cam's jab shutting Gemma's down - that's where all the problems start. Blonde able to dart in and out, circle as she pleases, confident her stick will keep Gemma covered up. Left flank of Arterton glossy and pink from vicious side-arm right hands landing palm-down in her body. In the exchanges, Cam's landing first and last - chewing on the odd body shot as Gemma throws bravely against superior handspeed. Towards the end, Cam showcases that brilliant left hand - touching Gemma two digging hooks to breadbasket, then jabbing her off before Arterton can respond. Bell: beaming grin Cam Diaz as she forces dancing eye contact; Gemma frowning, sulking through 5.

R6: Gemma jabbing to Cam's body, disrupting blonde rhythm: Arterton getting some things done as action becomes scrambled/rushed in spots. Gemma landing a stout right hand to Cam's chin; Gemma placing hooks in Cam's ribs/waist...brunette coming forward behind her jab, outworking her blonde. Diaz disengaging, loping the ring - she's scowling, momentarily perplexed as Gemma rights her ship.

R7: Cam flat footed, in forward aspect: feet widespread, right (back) ankle up off canvas. Diaz hardhearted, tight-lipped: she's jabbing Gemma's face with venom, really busting up the cheekbones. Cam whip-lathering bandy-armed left hooks in behind Gemma's left elbow: sobbing cry of protest from G as her legs give way. Slinging right hands chase Gemma ropeside: vicious batting hooks cuff in behind British left elbow...she's a stricken beauty, sitting in ropes, bleating in pain. Cameron viciously at her brunette - looming above her stooped opponent while carving in palm-down left/rights behind Gemma's elbows...as Arterton bends farther forward, Cameron heartlessly scours her lower back with sweeping barrages. Bloodcurdling thump-thump noises from Gemma's body sounding out as Cam's fists bounce off kidney: groaning brunette sags back into ropes, eyes squeezing out tears. Shafting right hand penetrates - punching Gemma's head back and to the right: brown eyes click shut as body relaxes into KO. Arterton wilting to canvas to the soundtrack of Cam's pitiless cackling: KO7 in lean limbed fashion, Cameron Diaz.

After: Diaz back with a vengeance, flaying a promising Rookie import under a hot tropical sun, leaving poor Gemma smouldering in a pretty heap...Cam's bubbly for postfight. "What a pasting, hey?" Cam asks rhetorically, giggling and winking at friends off-camera. "Basically, this was just to shake the rust: I knew Gemma wasn't ready for a hall of famer like me. I've obtained new management to help steer me through the FCBA minefield (ed. note: not sure if he announced it yet, but he will if he hasn't), but make no mistake: I'm here to rule. If you guys thought Theron was a tyrant - hang on to your hats: girls will be GROANING under my iron fist before too long. Just ask Gemma!"
