Before: Jolene excited at the prospect if her biggest payday yet, still smarting from the Cuthbert defeat--Blalock’s a motivated fighter. Complex situation emerging at bantam, with Spears and Cuthbert exchanging words, but unable to come to terms--they’re fighting common opponents (Blalock for Spears, Thiessen for Cuthbert) in an effort to gauge the threat. “To me, Jolene’s by far the more dangerous fighter,” Spears says, commenting on Cuthbert/Blalock. “She had a let down against Elisha, but I don’t think it’s significant, People close to me are telling me not to take this fight, but I don’t want to find out how good Jolene is in a title bout. R1: Blalock left at her hip, right cocked at her chest--very menacing as she walks Britney down, licking that jab up from the waist, leaning into whistling right hands. Spears forced to the perimeter--she’s blocking right hands, parrying jabs, but having trouble getting off against Jolene’s lanky pressure.

R2: More lateral movement from Spears the answers. Blonde changing directions, stressing Blalock’s slender legs--Jolene getting wrong footed and Britney’s tagging her. Spears jabbing to the midsection, then snap-looking the cheek--she unhinges Blalock’s knees at one point as Jolene learns respect.

R3: Blalock using her reach, jabbing Spears unmercifully and steering Brit to corners. Jolene able to change distance by leaning in and out, shifting weight from front foot to back--putting punches on Britney with gangly lather, Spears chin tested at the midway point as Jolene cracks home that right cross--singer stepping in fence post holes, has to clinch around Blalock’s waist to recover. All Blalock to the bell,. By the end, she has Brit stiff n’ cringing at the ropes from luscious long left hooks up underneath--flat spanking impacts on taut brown midriff.

R4: Spears gambling, trying to slide to the left then dart in--Blalock with weight  on back foot, calmly hangs back and tracks her foe with the jab. Britney marked up on the approach and banged back outside--she’s finding it hard to penetrate her opponent's stabbing reach. Nice little mouse under Britney’s left eye--Jolene doing methodical work through 4.

R5: Blalock once again outboxing Spears by being poised, hanging back, running Spears onto the jab and letting Britney take all the chances. Spears moving well, but not utilizing her own jab much--she;s trying to jump in and Jolene’s dismantling the approach.

R6: Spears changes up, doubling the jab belly and breasts, then stepping in to hook those jugs  a clout--Blalock takes the bait and slugging erupts at close range, Jolene forced to tighten up her strokes, hunker down--she’s licking rising lefts and rights against Britney, trying to uppercut the chin, Spears quicker-mitted on the inside, moving her upper body  better--she’s putting combos on Jolene’s slender ribcage, ducking and slipping then clipping chin hooks and right hands. Final moments--Britney slips a Blalock right, answering almost immediate with a looping right upside the head--Jolene’s legs  give way as she sprawls hurt along the ropes. Brit mopping up strong at the bell, putting a burst of hungry leather against belly tits and chin of her foe, leaving Blalock sagging as the ref jumps in.

R7: Brit’s eager to hop back on in, but Jolene shakes off the hurt--jabbing sharp as ever. Spears held at arm’s length, frustrated and lumping up--she bends at the waist, trying to ease in low and Blalock twists into a crashing right on the left eye! Brit stepping in fence post holes, badly hurt--Jolene extends the left to stabilize her girl, then gets that long lean body behind an extravagant right, crushing Spears’ head hard to the side and drawing a squeal from those at ringside. Britney crumpling  forward, then sprawling on her back--she is ALL the way out! KO7 in devastating fashion, Jolene Blalock.

After: Spears many long moments coming around--Jolene extending on a pair of withering right hands really exerting that Tommy Hearns style on her foe tonight. Britney classy enough in defeat to acknowledge the shot. “I’ve been in with Dani, Eliza, Liu--Tiffany can bring it a little bit, but this girl Jolene isn’t natural. I;ve never been hit like that by a bantamweight--Lordy can Blalock crack!” Jolene glowing with the win--”Anytime you beat Britney, it’s a thrill, and to lay her out, well…it’s special. I just wish I’d caught Cuthbert with that punch!”
