BEFORE: "It's time to expose Jessica for what she really is," Durance says in prefight, winking at PR handlers who are frantically trying to stifle E's hardline comments. "A blowhard braggart with delusions of greatness. Boxing's moved on: the lightweight division is stacked head to toe with legitimate athletes. In fact, if Jess weren't holding belts, I'd say she probably wouldn't even crack the top 5 anymore: too many girls have caught up to her conditioning and passed her by. I can't wait for this collision, 'cause I'm definitely one of those girls, and I'm tired of Biel's non-stop yacking!" Jessica red-cheeked: she's not used to this level of brazen insolence in opponents. "When I'm done with Erica," Jess promises at podium, "she'll bow down to me and BEG me to stop hitting her. That's what I do to girls: I bring out the snivelling little bytch in every woman I face - Erica included. She's gonna hurt, then she's gonna quit - IF I allow her to stay conscious long enough to surrender!" Erica in crimson bikini top/navy bottoms with little red belt; crimson gloves; sporty ponytail with swept bangs. Jess in neon blue bikini; white gloves; hair in long blonde battle-braid.

During R1: Jess: left hand dangling; left shoulder pointed ERica's way; right hand cocked at chest...Biel shifting weight front foot to back, bending at the waist, looking to pounce. Erica upright; right tight to cheek; left hand pumping jabs, or breaking off compact hooks/left uppercuts - always keeping that right hand high n' tight. Biel getting the better of it - scoring stoop-n'-scoot tummy jabs; grazing lead right hands off feints; pulling lean-away hooks across Erica's breasts from the right foot.

R2: Erica doubling up the jab - stepping in closer: her hooks and uppercuts much more effective as Biel's thrown over to defence. Jessica's head hard to hit clean, but Erica burying stout hooks in Biel's ribcage: brunette pounding her blonde loud, pushing her around after landing. Latter half the round, Durance swinging sidearm rights into Jessica's ribs as well: Biel countering with swift straight right hands from the closed stance, stamping Erica's jugs or face.

R3: Advantage swings back to Jessica: she's feinting Erica well, hitting her jumping lead hooks or sneaky screened lead right hands. Biel pouncing in, then darting out to the side: her feints keeping Erica's jab holstered, allowing blonde first-step initiative. Final minute sees Erica doubling up the jab again, closing distance for that tight-arc hook/jagged left uppercuts to sternum. Biel attempting to hook back in anger - blocked by Erica's protective right in good position.

R4: Bitter fighting as Jessica pushes left shoulder into Erica's chest, opting for toe-to-toe brawling. Biel: snatch-snapping that wicked hook across Erica's stony abs; doubling it to tits; using the chickenwing left elbow to push and prop. Erica double-pumping her jab in close, then jerking short left uppercuts or whirling hooks off the front (left) foot. Even stevens for two minutes: both girls ripped hard by the other - neither backing off - both taking a great shot. Down the stretch - Erica hooking breadbasket like a champ: Jessi cramps up, face pinched...Durance twitches the left uppercut to chin - picking Jessi up and SITTING JESSI DOWN! Biel blinking, sitting up prettily - strands of blonde hair coming out of the braid and straying across her face. Final moments all Durance cleaning up on Jessica at ropes: mitts bouncing off blonde as Biel's weaving/rolling on the spot. Erica fairly prancing to her corner at bell - beamin' dimples. Biel disheveled, scowling on her stool.

R5: Routine is there for Erica: double-pump the jab, step-in close, snap off left hand techniques body-then-head. Digging hooks nagging Biel's ribs and breasts - Erica leaning in close on front (left) leg, jerking 'em in tidy. Left uppercuts short n' hardhearted, finding Biel's stomach/solarplexus/breasts: she's grumpy on contact, shying away to regroup. Erica walking Jess down for the most part - punching, then pushing her off - brunette very much the aggressor. Biel contenting herself with the odd potshotting counter - walking Erica into snappy leather from the closed stance.

R6: Jess in wide, closed stance: she'll backhand out the jab from her hip; slide away as Erica moves in; clip Erica the cuffing hook off the hip the DIVE into vicious right hands, bending low/left on follow through. Durance getting clapped left side of her face: Erica taking crowd pleasing rights well - legs proving sturdy - but she's definitely getting pre-empted. Jess landing big, then sidestepping, turning Erica and luring her forward once more. Biel re-establishes her game as Erica proves her sturdiness through 6.

R8: Bitter banging back and forth: Erica gritting her teeth, digging close-in hooks while keeping the right at her cheek. Jess swatting/swiping tummy/tits/jawlines with either hand - Biel keeping elbows in close to her body, tilting torso this way and that to clap at her foe. Erica slowly imposing will - shipping a shellacking, but moving forward, gradually beating Jess to ropes. Two minute mark - Biel smote a right to the chops and a pair of hooks in under the breastline: she's hurting, desperate against the ropes. Jess dips left shoulder, snatches hook-to-crotch: Erica cries out, bunching up hurt, her offensive derailed. Jess gathers Durance up, twists her into ropes: Biel riding left arm round Erica's shoulders, slumping her forward for pumping rights tits and chin. Erica gobbling: she's hurt, worked over to bell. Boos cascading down: Durance visibly distraught; Jessica snarling, unrepentant - just a champion doing what she has to do. Kaley standing ringside, outraged; Larter cursing, shaking her head in disgust; Missy Peregrym crossing her arms, pursing her lips: Jessica not making any friends amongst her peers tonight.

R9: Erica hard-eyed - stepping in her jab, then close-clipping that left hook to Jessi's ribs. Biel grimacing/crouching/pivoting away: she's not enjoying Erica's body work this evening. Durance walking Jess down, but noticeably slower: Biel able to shake the pursuit, hop the perimeter, get to open canvas and reorganize. Not a lot of punching from Jess: she's legging around, feinting, showing either shoulder to Erica and being all supple-waisted with her head movement. Durance the aggressor, but unable to bring guns to bear on elusive Jess.

R10: Jessica on the attack, spooking Erica early with a pouncing lead right, then sliding off Durance's right flank as E's covering up. Erica turning, grim-faced: she's putting the jab on Biel, stepping into her with hooks to the body, then clipping her uppercuts in close. Jessica springing away, circling, curling back in: she's finding her rhythm again - feinting Erica into showing peek-a-boo, then strapping Durance lunging hooks or right hands. Erica unhurt, but getting bamboozled: still looking a little stiff in the legs from Jessi's crotch-punch. Bell: Jessica grinning, lifting her mitts; Erica chests up, snarling angrily in Biel's face - ref moves in as tempers flare. Comes back one point duke, for the winner and UNIFIED lightweight champ...Jessica Biel!

After: Biel hefting gold over her shoulders, shouting out "Where's Kaley?" locating her ringside, moving to the ropes and grinning while making a great show of polishing a belt: Cuoco apoplectic - as are many of the other lightweights in attendance. Durance restrained by team-mates from going after Jess: Erica pointing at Jess, arguing loudly with officials to no avail: Biel's swaggering with the belts. "I'm just too good," Jess says during in-ring postfight. "Erica tried - she had her little gameplan - but you know what? You can't plan to fight Jessica Biel - there IS no blueprint for success. She got off to a good start, then my body just ate hers up down the stretch. Could I have knocked her out? Of course - she was ready to go at several points - but this was one time when the other girl definitely needed a sustained beating from me. As a rival queen, Erica needed to be thoroughly dismantled: a quick KO would have been too good for her!"
