Before: Farrell anxious to address the outstanding debt to Reece - losing to Gaby's never sat well with the veteran actress: "If you think about it," says Terry, "Gaby beating me at boxing is like me beating her at volleyball - of course it's a black mark for me. She gets by with strength and speed, but she's an athlete first, a boxer second. She's got a lot of technical deficiencies - she fights a lot of exhibitions in the sand where she doesn't have to deal with movement or angles - she just doesn't have enough tools to compete with me without some luck." Gaby in silver/grey beach volleyball two piece, Farrel in royal blue two piece, single strap off the shoulder top. Fought outdoors, beach n' bleachers setting.

During R1-4 Bamboozling, bewildering rounds for a clearly frustrated Gabrielle Reece. Farrell showing lots of circular movement, Reece having no trouble keeping up, but she's never set to punch and doesn't seem to own a jab. Terry able to steer Reese, actually keeping the taller woman at bay with her educated left hand and scoring cheap points with razor rights on the chin or straight into the sternum. Gaby unhurt, but unable to sustain offence - Farrell unashamed to reach in to clinch whenever Reece is able to get off. No shutouts for Farrell, but clear control in each round - Terry's class dominating Reese physical supremacy.

R5: Dicey moments early for Farrell - Reece hooking with Terry's jab and startling the actress with a jolt to the chin - Farrel stepping in fence post holes off the single tap, desperately staggers around the ring in retreat. Reece flailing away in pursuit - (my kingdom for a jab!), but Farrell manages to run, clinch and block her way out of trouble. Up until the end of the second minute - Farrell pulling away from a cranking Reese hook - Gaby torques into a spearing right to the temple and once again has Terry wobbly butt. Farrell propping her butt up in the ropes, covering up and giving Reece rope-a-dope - good welting body shots to either side as Gaby squares away and gets lanky leverage into meanspirited lefts and rights.

R6: Shutout Terry Farrell. Farrell calm, reading Gaby's predictable offense, generally pre-empting the v-baller with a long jab between the eyes and a hard straight right hand to the breadbasket. Reece trudging through it all - she's puffy from the stick, but not wobbled even once despite Farrell's high connect percentage. Terry very cute defensively - she's parrying Terry's left, just nudging it a few degrees to the inside, making it whisk past Farrel's left ear. Terry shooting her jab high to block Gaby's powerful rights - it's easy when you know how.

R7: Gaby has a nice round, finally showing a firm jab to the center of Terry's chest, getting the range and setting up lashing right hands to the ribs and left ear. Farrell forced to the ropes more often this round - she elects to block and parry, leaning into the strands, minimizing damage, but not getting off near enough to cop the points.

R8: Terry Farrell using the ring, turning her athletic foe - Reece tireless in pursuit, but squandering her efforts as Farrel picks her up with the jab, rams home the right hand, and clinches for breaks. Gaby visibly upset at the lack of contact she's generating, despite strenuous effort.

R9: Farrell a sorceress with the stick - punishing Gaby's available face, neatly stepping to the left around it as Reece pivots, snarling impotently. Terry skunks Gaby this round with nothing but the left, light on her toes, circling, shooting it straight, lifting it off the hip, swatting it wide to the ear and occasionally faking up the middle to curl it up underneath for a lead uppercut. Reece bloodied in the nostril - unhurt once again, but getting tagged at will.

R10: Terry finishes with a round like most of the others - Reece landing a few shots, usually not with the footing or range she wants, Terry clinching when she doesn't want to fight, using the jab to get the angle on Reece and landing firm right hands to teeth and midriff to easily win the round. Gaby motioning for Farrel to brawl in the final seconds - Terry staying away, smiling serenely, confident of victory. Comes back a slick UD10 Terry Farrell.

After: Farrell survives Reece's shocking long limbed power in the fifth and never looks back, raking the volley-baller for 8 rounds in a dominant rematch victory. Simply a case where a dedicated veteran had too much technique for a physically gifted hobbyist - Reese never the force in the ring she is in the sand.
