BEFORE: Fight comes about as lucky opportunity...Duff making 110 for matrimonial reasons, suddenly sees a chance to pick up a Panny while she's down there. "Yeah, it was really funny," Duff says, smoothing blonde hair behind right ear in prefight. "I got down for my wedding, and everyone was saying how tight I was and how I looked better than Hayden in jeans. I thought 'I should move on her while I'm here', and next thing you know - here I am! First Dani, now Panny - easy!" Panettiere scowling: Hilary's always been a potential threat, but to have her on the doorstep is intolerable. "I think she looks like crap," Hayden shrugs at podium. "Seriously - she looks thin and weak to me, and that's going to cost her. At 120, she's a curvy load and we saw what she did to Dani, but I think she's making a huge mistake in coming down. I will beat her second rate buns boys - gonna beat that gut into putty. When I'm done, we aren't going to see a Duff march through 110 - no sir." Duff in brown bikini; small black gloves; curly blonde hair in ponytail with bangs. Hayden in horizontal-striped red/white fighting bikini; small white gloves; hair in battle-bun with bangs hanging down left side of her face.

During R1: Battle of wills as Hayden pushes-in, girls fight shoulder to shoulder in non-stop bruise fest midring. Li'l grunters pushing and punching - tummies and shoulders clouted as girls look to set up jagged little right uppercuts inside. Busy bangin' - neither vixen takes a backward step - fighters slowly rotating clockwise as a natural consequence of jamming-in with lead left shoulders. Down the stretch, Duff seals it with a crisp left hook swat to tummy; short-poke right uppercut to mouth; cuffing right to cheek; final short right uppercut to chin to momentarily shut Hayden down.

R2: Another minute shoulder to shoulder convinces Hayden she needs to adjust: Panny bounces it outside, takes a counter-clockwise walk around her foe, scowling over left shoulder en route. Hayden curling in from angles now - showing jitterbugging in-out footwork, changing directions as she circles either way. Duff wary - forming peek-a-boo and stalking: she'd rather have Hayden right in front of her. Panny potshotting - swinging sidearm rights loud against breadbasket; chipping the jab; pulsing in short right/lefts up the middle. Duff unhurt, but outclassed, has to watch Hayden walk away with points through 2.

R3: Hayden scooting, jitterbugging around - she's bouncing in and out, circling, really being a pest. Hilary dukes up/elbows in, flat footed stalking: she's scowling, doesn't like Hayden's Mexican Jumping Bean act. Panny able to land whacking sidearm rights against Hilary's body; pivoting left around saucy hooks; hesitation straight right hands poked between Duff's mitts. Hilary visibly frustrated, coming forward recklessly late: Hayden catching Hilary with feet parallel at one point, jumps in a snappy palm-down hook and DROPS DUFF TO HER HEINIE! Hilary up quick, cheeks crimson: Hayden grinning, winking cheekily as Duff takes an 8.

R4: Bippitty-boppitty-boo boxing from Hayden: she's in and out, scooting and darting around - vexing Duff with power from either hand. Hilary compact, safe behind her guard, but she's not getting off at all: Hayden getting after the body with strapping whacks; working Duff's biceps with flat-knuckle/small-glove wallop. Shutout Panny: her colour's high, eyes dancing; Duff's cranky, sluggish in comparison.

R5: More Panny bouncing in from angles: Duff covering up, absorbing shellack to arms/flanks, trying to walk Hayden down and make her trade. Panny carefree - her springy legs have initiative - she's just bouncing mitts off meat, having her way and HAYDEN GOES DOWN! Late the round, Duff covers up as lefts and rights pelt her flanks, then she steps in, erupts from crouch and unloads a muscular hook clean to Hayden's jaw - dropping Panny to her startled tush! Confused, blinking 8, Hayden: Hilary shows bantam power in muscling her rival off her feet and stealing a clear Panny round to that point.

R6: The vengeance of Hayden Panettiere. Steely-eyed, lips in tight puncher's pout - Hayden gets after Hilary with renewed vigor. In-out jitterbugging footwork sets up snapping, ripping power shots. Duff strapped right hands along her ribcage or across her gut; dug hooks to liver; chipped uppercuts inside. Hayden in Hilary's rack with chugging hup-hup - forcing Duff wearily backwards into ropes and causing gasping clinches. Torrid stuff - Panny sets a blazing pace few girls could match - beating Duff into staring stupor for a 10-8 without the knockdown.

R7: More Hayden executing at her very peak performance - sustaining sheer volume rarely seen in celebrity rings. Exact same shredding beatdown of Hilary as in the sixth, only this time - Panny's able to unleash a stream of whacking sidearm rights to Duff's leftside ribs, literally chopping Hilary to her knees at ropes. Hayden panting, hands on hips, chest heaving, but eyes blazing: she's still got plenty left as frazzled Duff takes a swaying 8.

R8: Early defiance from Duff as she hooks Panny's breadbasket/pushes off with left shoulder. Hayden flat footed now, easing off the gas pedal, though still rotating clockwise to turn Duff: Panny issuing stubby double-jabs - pinpointing right hands that bounce off Duff's hairline in spots. Bruising trade as girls fight in compact crouches, working each other over tidy. Viewers can't miss the fact that Hayden's humbling Hilary's rack with short-jolt power from either quick hand.

R9,10: Tough to watch - Hilary's gassed, mouthbreathing, possibly dead at the weight: Hayden's fresh, upbeat and going at her girl frisky. Grim minutes for Duff...she's hurt, sliding along ropes or stumbling across ring - reacting late to punches as Hayden keeps deploying in rapid-fire combinations. Hayd dipping left shoulder to hook that rack: meanspirited little choppers meant to break Duff's spirit - Hayden snatching her punches, then bringing the mitts back quick. Duff beaten to her knees again by a stream of chopping right hacked in above her left hip midway through the 10th: it's as cruel as we've ever seen Hayden hit a girl. Duff goes the distance, refusing to give satisfaction, but she's badly, badly beaten tonight. UD10 Hayden Panettiere.

After: Foxfire stablemates a little in awe as Panny turns it up about 3 notches to leave Duff in the dust tonight: it's Hayden's best performance in a long time. Big hug and high five from Dani Fishel: Dani and Panny complete a trouncing rout of the Duff/Mack combine that had seemed so dangerous just a few weeks ago. Hilary a fit little bruiser, but she just couldn't understand what was being done to her...Hayden changing up after smash-mouth minutes went HIlary's way. "Um, you know - I probably could have taken her inside," Hayden relates in postfight, looking up at interviewer, "but that wouldn't have been the smart play, and it would've led to me taking a lot more punishment to subdue her. She's strong at the weight, but her legs don't like 110, so once I saw that, I just went to work undressing her. I feel like...when I combine my pop with my legs, I'm sorta unbeatable, you know? I mean, Hilary's a good fighter, and I took her apart tonight!"
