BEFORE: "Everyone knows I was brought in by the CW to push McCord and to keep her competitive," Aly says in prefight, "but I'm also very much the 'new broom' at the studio: there're a lot of girls like Nina who were hot stuff last year and think they can coast this year. Sorry: not gonna happen! You could say there's a new Sheriff in town - I mean, Eliza Dushku hasn't been that in a looong time if you ask me. Maybe I'll toss her in with the rest just for kicks!" Nina D rolling her eyes: blondie-come-lately clearly an irritant to hot young Vampire Diaries starlet. "First off - I watched about 2 minutes of Hellcats the other night and had to turn it off...I don't think Aly's going to be around long," snarks Dobrev in rebuttal. Neens advancing behind spearing jabs to shoulder/left tit...Aly sliding away, weight on back (right) leg as she pulls whippy hooks off her thigh to slap brunette mouth. Fight traverses the ring - Nina the aggressor, but getting answered by sleek Aly. Down the stretch - double jab carries Nina in close...she pours in a right cross to chin before Aly can leg out of range: BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Aly slugged to her buns, looking as startled as any curly headed blonde has ever looked: "Keep your dukes up rook!" Neens chirps over her shoulder as she struts away. Welcome-to-the-FCBA knockdown for Aly sees her drop a 10-8 first.

R2: Aly still with low hands - dangling the left - but she's on her toes, taking more of the lead. She'll bounce forward, lift the up-jab off her thigh/drop the swift right hand...both punches turned aside by Nina's high guard, but Dobrev's output dropping as a result. Michalka sleek to her left, turning Nina's right flank - blonde girl darting in swift lead right hands palm-down into Nina's midsection - escaping off to the side before brunette receipts. Dobrev cautious, gauging speed: Neen's blocking, letting the blonde work, taking a look-see through 2.

R3: Nina jabbing-with: her from-the-shoulder left generally marking Aly before Michalka's up-jab can land. Brunette poking blonde girl around the ring, then leaning into mean right hands, spooking Michalka into scampering retreats: limber blonde thinks nothing of turning her back and jogging away when Nina's punching hard. Takes Dobrev two minutes to track Aly down, but a series of wide right roundhouses loud to Aly's left-side ribs beat her along the ropes, into neutral corner, forcing her into don't-hurt-me face-in-gloves look. Workmanlike Nina squares up, bats straight-arm lefts and rights off willowy blonde flanks - beating Aly like a drum. Seconds left, it's all too much - groaning Aly reaches round Nina's head to tie up: Dobrev able to shove a tuff right flat to blonde abs, winning a breathy little grunt as Aly cramps up hurt. Bell: Michalka prettily blinking away tears; Nina with a snarky wink to the ANS news table on the strut-back to her corner.

R4: Neens hunting her blonde - aggressively seeking her out via left jabs, stepping-to and looking to clean up brawny. Aly playing will-o'-the-wisp, there and gone as her springy legs refuse to cooperate with Nina's destructive designs. Minute mark - Nina plunging forward, mis-judges distance as Aly slides out of range: blonde girl purses lips, fits her rival for a slinging check-hook while putting weight on right (back) leg. NINA'S SMOTE! Shock in brunette eyes...Dobrev stepping in fence post holes...hands up loose at her temples: Aly over to offence. Michalka strapping limber hooks to trembling Dobrev-waist...then mixing in rangy right hands to body - bouncing mitts off meat. Nina driven to ropes: she hits ragdoll, torso loose on her hips. Michalka bouncing in, loops a bolo right uppercut to part Nina's mitts, then curls a left uppercut through off the left foot. Nina swaying on the spot, staring in shock...Aly's at her with rangy, curling, licking blasts all supple from the waist - both hands strapping clout! Nina sagging into ropes as legs give way...hands dropping...she's helpless, taking punches and THE REF STEPS IN! Stunning TKO4 debut, Aly Michalka!

After: Michalka lives up to hype - stopping a well regarded brunette ingenue in four lively heats. Michalka not done...as soon as her gloves are removed, she marches into the Dobrev corner, pulling Neens roughly to her feet by her left arm. Nina dazed, woozy as she's shoved into her corner turnbuckles, then mounted: Michalka deliberately slapping the face of the Wolf-Pack's own Eliza D with copy-rite infringement. Poor Nina! Aly looming above her, making rigid, thrusting cheerleader arms in the air, or doing a little pelvic pump dance-shimmy, the gyrations of which shake Nina, causing her to turn her head to the right in disgusted heartbreak. Michalka reaching her fingers into her own hair - her elbows high as she tosses her head side to side: sexy CW post-fight corner mounting gets her special mention in this month's BLONDE!
