Charlize Theron vs. Gena Lee Nolin (X) 19-Feb-00

Theron overrules her management to face arch rival Nolin for a tenth time. Gena Lee clamoring for the bout, finally needles Charlize into accepting, but Theron dismissive of Gena's chances in the bout.

"Everyone looks at those early knockouts Gena scored over me and thinks that could happen again. It won't, not ever. We could fight a thousand times, and I'll give her a thousand beatings. After tonight, Gena won't be the same person - her fans better have a good memory, because the girl they used to know won't be coming back."

Dire words, but Nolin scoffing at the bravado, calling Theron 'protected' and guaranteeing she will expose her once and for all. Theron in white string bikini; Gena in yellow athletic bikini, black mesh to a high neck, slick ponytail.

Round 1: Nolin warned for trying to pop Charlize elbow in the opening clinch and the fight off to a slow start as Nolin repeatedly grabs and holds to stifle Charlize offense. Midway through the round, Nolin hits on the break, startling Charlize with a chopping right on the mouth and Theron wobbles back. Nolin pouncing, chugs her long arms into left and rights uppercuts, BASHING THERON'S BREASTS, belly and chin until CHARLIZE COLLAPSES TO THE ROPES. It's a mugging on the ropes as Charlize covers up, taking Nolin leather to the bell. Nolin with a nice late right hand on the mouth prompts referee intervention as Theron glares in anger.

Round 2: Boxing lesson from Theron as she gets on her toes, circling behind a very accurate left jab, keeping Nolin well outside. Gena trying to time the left with her overhand right, swings herself off balance on several occasions, allowing Theron step in, get off with a combination, then skip out without a scratch.

Round 3: Theron getting after Nolin's midriff with snapping hooks, but Gena standing her ground, counters with curling right hands on the mouth in even two way action early. Down the stretch, Charlize' legs take over once again, turning Gena mid-ring, poking her with nuisance jabs to the bell. Nolin yells at Charlize to fight after the bell as the ref. takes precautions.

Round 4: Classy shutout for Charlize as she seems content to circle, peck, and out point Nolin. Gena still way late on the right hand haymaker, can't get her feet squared against the nimble blonde tonight, but Theron not hurting Nolin in the bargain either. Gena Lee frustrated in her corner.

Round 5: Charlize jazzing it up a little, bouncing in with a short lead right on the mouth, then bouncing out with the fall away hook on the jaw, has Gena swinging wildly. In the final minute, Nolin able to get Charlize to stand and slug at the ropes - Gena with some B right hands on the jaw avoids being shutout late.

Round 6: Nolin tackles Charlize to the canvas to open the round, and both girls are warned as the ref. stops the clock. Gena promptly tackles Charlize into and through the ropes out onto the apron. Once again the action is stopped as the girls are untangled. Nolin keeps up the disruptive tactics, clinching, head-locking Charlize and forcing the ref. to physically separate the combatants. Charlize clearly taken off stride, and Nolin clinches late holding with the left, digging hard with SAWING RIGHT HANDS BACK AND FORTH INTO THERON'S BRA to steal the round with the late burst. Gena won't let Charlize go until the referee forcibly breaks them. Nolin smiles en route to her corner.

Round 7: Charlize out looking to box, but suddenly leaps in with that short lead right on Gena's mouth and Nolin reels back HURT! Nolin all arms and legs, drapes on the ropes, eyes wide and staring, and Charlize cruelly steps in to finish. Baseball bat lefts and rights to the flanks fold Nolin forward, then Charlize works in tight, clipping a little right uppercut into the teeth, then reaching down to stuff the left hook in behind Nolin's elbow. Gena takes withering beating, then spills to her face on the canvas, body trembling as she lays on her side blubbering in pain. KO7 Charlize Theron who stands directly over Gena for several moments, pushing the ref. away while she drinks in the sight.

Theron kills the rivalry with a very demonstrative beating, surviving Nolin's early power, and late roughhouse to lay a heartbreaking pounding on the blonde.

"I've gotten better," says Charlize. "While she's stayed the same, maybe even lost a step. It's not a sport anymore between us - it's just me beating her until she collapses. I seriously think she should look at retiring before she gets permanently injured."
