7. Behati Prinsloo vs Hannah Ferguson II (Welterweight)

Behati:
(30, 5’10, 10:9 FCBA, Fates Boxing)

Hannah:
(26, 5’10, 130, 35:7 FCBA, VIXENs)

BEFORE:
Another important rematch on the cards tonight as Behati Prinsloo seeks to avenge an early-career loss against the alpha-Vixen herself, Hannah Ferguson. It was way back in 2016 when both fighters were still finding their footing, and Hannah who managed to put her counterpart away in six convincing rounds. The rest, of course, is history, with one of these girls going on to become a multi-divisional champion, whereas the other having stalled momentum between multiple stables and repeated attempts to get off the ground.

The situation’s made worse for Behati tonight with her most recent loss against Bridget Reagan still stinging in her mind, for a time extending her losing record to two fights in a row. BUT that impressive win over Kelly Brook last week certainly changed everyone’s mind, and the Fates girl looks a whole lot more confident as she addresses reporters’ questions on stage in the press hall:

“Everyone’s piling on the pressure tonight, and trust me: I sure as hell feel it. If I lose my match tonight, it's goodbye for the rest of my stablemates - we lose this stable war. Not to mention, any chance of redemption against Hannah. So, yeah, I need to put on my best performance tonight. I’ve always been a positive thinker, looking forward. And tonight, dear Hannah’s in my way.”

Strong words getting picked up by Ferguson, who’s looking cocky and confident herself from her place at the press table. There’s some reason to be: the Vixen’s on a string of victories thus far in the year, going through top prospects in the Welterweight field like Kate Bock and Rachel Hilbert, and now facing down an old challenger from her younger days - someone she’s already beaten before.

“There’s a reason Behati’s looking so nervous tonight - she’s the girl with plenty to prove. Me, on the other hand? Behati’s barely been a blip on my radar, if I’m being perfectly honest, especially since my recent win over Hilbert. I have a feeling she’s not gonna cross my mind much of the way going forward, after I put her away tonight in convincing fashion.”

Both blondes sizing each other up at the podium, steely glare into faces as they pose just a few feet apart: Hannah wearing a golden bikini top, white boxing trunks loose around the waistline as she poses with taped fists cocked at Behati’s chin and tummy. Prinsloo doing her best mean-girl impression right back, wearing a sky blue bra top and bikini briefs, holding up her own white gloves towards Hannah’s smirking face.

Later, in the ring, we’re all set to go with the last bout of this exciting stable war. Both stables need the win here to declare victory, and we can only imagine what’s going through both these girls’ minds as they touch gloves in the center of the ring. The referee acknowledges the wild cheers from both sides of the aisle to get started - there’s a wave of the arm and HERE we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1:
Behati starting this match strong, wades in fast and early, and plugs a right hand into Hannah’s face, starting the tone of this match with aggression from the get-go. Hannah shocked and speechless to say the least, wondering if this is the same woman she faced off against all those years ago. Behati showing plenty of in-your-face action as she stalks after Hannah, planting leather into her arms and body, with Ferguson struggling a whole lot unexpectedly in this first round, we won’t lie, allowing Behati to push her backwards as the former champ continues to absorb plenty of punishment. But if we remember correctly, Hannah always takes some time to hit her stride with her opponents, and late in the round has her shooting some choice jabs back into the Namibian model’s face, stunning her briefly and putting a stop to her brazen tactics. Wide round still goes to Prinsloo at the bell, looking satisfied enough with her performance as she heads back to corner.

ROUND 2:
Like we said, Hannah’s not about to make the same mistake twice in a fight. Behati opting for the very same tactics by contrast, choosing to fire off a string of jabs towards Ferguson as she rushes in to extinguish the oxygen in the atmosphere. Ferguson however playing along at first, blocking well with her arms, the occasional grunt from her lips as her tummy takes another hook left and right, before the Vixen BLASTS Behati back on the nose, crashing a right hand into her face for the briefest but most painful of moments!. Before Behati can register what’s happening, another one-two hands land on the lips, hammering in Hannah’s point, and suddenly, it’s Hannah who’s back in control of this fight as she pushes Behati back, retaking lost territory by hounding her all the way to the bell.

ROUND 3:
Looks like these two are dead even in terms of points and ability, and if it’s any consolation, Behati looks MUCH improved compared to last time these two fought. Both ladies clash again in the middle, Behati surprising Hannah early with a rapid-fire exchange of hooks to the guard, then tucked into either girl’s side as they turn heads in more literal ways than other. But Hannah weaving to the side at one particular moment, avoiding a return hook from Prinsloo, before the Vixen SNAPS an uppercut into the chin. Behati grunts, staggers backwards, again chased by Hannah’s jabs. The Fates starlet definitely proving for a while back there that she can hang and bang with the brightest, but still needs to do some work on her defensive capabilities. Hannah takes another wide round for herself, and with that, the overall lead.

ROUND 4:
Behati frustrating the former champ in the fourth, however, as Hannah rushes in a little too ambitiously, thinking she can repeat history or even do it better by knocking Behati out before lunchtime. But Prinsloo shows what she’s learned in her new stable, hanging back, always a little bit out of reach, manages to hold Hannah off with a bevy of jabs sent to her face. Hannah’s nose, cheek getting lit up amidst her wild swings into nothingness, finally gets the message and stops her charge forward, with nothing much to show for it at the end of three minutes. Behati also having learnt her lesson, opts for a sideways squeeze of the noose around Ferguson’s neck, herding Hannah backwards with another wall of jabs until the end of the round.

ROUND 5:
Two can play at that game it seems. Hannah with return fire from afar as the two ladies circle each other left and right, jab jab jab at the face and body, rinse and repeat. They only manage to score occasionally this time round, with both fearing the other’s power and hidden capabilities. Finally, Behati’s urged forward by her own corner, wants to squeeze that noose a little tighter, her pulsing belly comes stalking in with quick lunges sent crashing into Hannah’s forearms, the occasionally beating on that tummy of hers like a punching bag. Hannah for the most part standing her ground, soft groans from her lips as her arms prefer to cover her vulnerable chin. Ferguson then timing her own return shots well, leather rammed into Behati’s mouth just as she comes leaping inwards to try and put her down. Third such strike and Prinsloo not looking too good, shaking her head groggily, reeling back from the abuse, but before Ferguson can rush in to try and finish her off, the bell rings too soon!

ROUND 6:
Behati has to be careful here, and her nerves aren’t helping. It doesn’t help that she’s facing off against a legendary lioness in Hannah Ferguson. The first minute has the Fates superstar playing it safe, doesn’t want to get knocked out in the same round as last time. Behati thus sinking back in the face of Hannah’s assault, covering her head up tightly with both hands over, as Hannah has sorta free reign to plug leather into her arms and body. Behati still peeking out of her shell occasionally, times a late-round exchange perfectly when she shoots out her right hand into Hannah’s stunned face, at the same time Hannah swings a low hook into her side. Ouch moment for both women, but at least Prinsloo manages to tighten those abs before that fist of hers shoved into her counterpart’s face! Hannah gurgles as another quick combination stuns her nostrils, Prinsloo just shoving leather upwards into the nose, and suddenly, Behati’s back in the driver’s seat as she chases Hannah back with more jabs. Both girls looking slightly tired by the time the bell rings to end the sixth.

ROUND 7:
Behati’s confidence increasing exponentially as she senses a little tiredness in her foe and widening weakness in her defence. She struts forward quickly, arms up and already aiming for Hannah’s face… when she EATS A SUDDEN RIGHT HOOK from Hannah Ferguson, who was waiting all along for the hungry challenger to come rushing in without a clue! OUCH! as Hannah pushes that patented hook into overdrive, first one turning Behati’s head to the side, throwing her off balance right there and then! ANOTHER hook crashes into the arms as Prinsloo’s left with no choice but to go scrambling for cover! Oh how the tides have turned in a heartbeat! Behati getting chased down by more hooks, a mortified look on her face as Hannah exerts her power. Behati gets herself trapped on the ropes, reeling hard, and fine by Ferguson, who simply crowds into her, gut-checks the poor girl away! Behati groaning, getting folded over in half, has to clinch up with Hannah to avoid more punishment. The last minute has Prinsloo managing to break free and keep her distance, but Hannah has surely done some damage in this round alone.

ROUND 8:
If it’s any consolation, Behati’s survived a little longer than her last rodeo, and the girls resume hostilities once more, with Behati trying to keep herself safe and on the backburner, that last round activity certainly spooking her plenty, especially each time Hannah feints hard, pulling back a right hook intending to strike, and then changes her mind. Prinsloo back to relying on her long jab, manages to stun Hannah on the nose a couple of times, using her speed to her advantage for the first minute. Hannah squeezes her eyes shut, looking dazed, but decides to hold her ground as Prinsloo opts to jump in to try and finish! The Fates girl slams a hook into Hannah’s arms, a mad woman-like look in her eyes, before her chin’s LIFTED into the sky when Hannah swings right back, playing possum and timing that counter-uppercut almost perfectly, as Behati’s head SNAPS into kingdom come, the rest of her body flying off her feet! BLAM! Behati Prinsloo hits the ground flat on her back, completely spreadeagled and KNOCKED OUT COLD! That’s it! That’s freakin’ it! The referee performing the mandatory 10-count but not holding his breath - Behati Prinsloo’s eyes squeezed shut in pain, her lips parted slightly as her head rolls to one side! IT’S OVER!

Official Decision: Hannah Ferguson defeats Behati Prinsloo via KO8!

AFTER:

This stable war’s in the bag for the Vixens, who have pulled out a narrow victory in the finally tally! They’ve managed to take some early wins, then suffer a few mid-way scares from the Fates crew, who have certainly put up one hell of a fight!

Behati herself having some high hopes to herself, hoping to come out of this fight the victor, but truth be told, the girl’s done an awesome job at going toe-to-toe with a former champion. Hannah certainly feeling the same way, immediately heading over to comfort her after her initial celebration, whispering some words of encouragement down by her side whilst the rest of the VIX stable, including Head Trainers Corey Saucier already hugging and high-fiving each other in celebratory mode.

The Fates corner not so elated, most of their trainers staying by Behati’s side, hoping to see if she’s okay. Prinsloo finally brought around by smelling salts, starts to see the hovering faces of concern looking down on her, finally dawns on her what happened. Her lips quivering as she fights back tears, but like we said, she definitely shouldn’t beat herself up too badly with her excellent performance tonight.

And that concludes our stable war for this month! We’d like to offer our sincere thanks to Lookout! Boxing for their help with facilitating this event, and of course, to Fates Boxing for bravely putting their girls up on the front lines tonight.

Final tally:  VIX/Fates Stable War 2019:  4:3

The Vixens win the stable war! Tune in November for our next battle with Chimera!
