Boxing After Dark

Before: How this fight ever got sanctioned testament to the power of the Ultimate gym--Heigl getting a lay up against the much smaller and mostly used up Eggert in a fight almost guaranteed to utilize paramedic assistance before It’s all done. “Nicole cam still compete on the inside against girls her own size,” one grizzled pundit shakes his head sadly, “but she’s in there with a monster welterweight--a real hard punching celebrity. And Nicole’s a puncher, not a cutey--it’s like knowing a train wreck’s about to occur, but you can’t do anything about it.” Nicole in floral print bra-style bikini--Katherine in tight crop top black  t-shirt, black bikini bottoms, ponytail.

During R1: Nicole out with gloves at her chin, walking straight in--Heigl with dukes up, hopping forward and just trying to pick Nicole up with clipping uppercuts fro either fist. Some early missing from both women as Eggert comes up way short on panicky hooks to Katherine’s face, but eventually Heigl’s right fists curl up and into Nicole’s chin, lifting the smaller girl into her right foot and dropping her to one knee for 8. Eggert after gun-punished, wobbly butt--Heigl walks her down without expression, pounds a telephone pole jab off Nic’s face--Eggert’s nose starts to bleed as she stumbles straights back into the ropes. Heigl squaring up, palming the smaller girl’s shoulders then going about the business of busting her up, Hefty right hands sink into Nicole’s tanned belly, buckling Eggert’s knees. Tough shoving sets up lumberjack hooks to the ear that sprawl Nicole against the ropes--crowd squealing in fascinated horror as Heigl heaps unacceptable damage onto the little blonde Somehow, Eggert makes it to the bell--face awash in red , curvy little legs spasming at the knees--Heigl turns and struts back to her corner all business.

R2: Nicole crosses her arms, bends at the waist, incredibly still trying to compete. Heigl swatting punches, missing over the top and Eggert jumps out of her crouch to land a gambling left clean on the jaw--Heigl toppling back a couple of steps, eyes wide with shock if not hurt--Eggert storming in to press the advantage catches a jab on her teeth and sits down almost comically as Heigl just shrugs her to the canvas. Nicole up, takes 8, and opens up with kamikaze lefts and rights as a bewildered Katherine tries to palm up and restore order, Heigl starts to punch with Nicole, taking Eggert’s blows across the face, but landing horrifically herself as Nicole starts to stagger aimlessly around the ring. Final
Minute--Katherine walking her girl down, piling the jab on Nicole’s face and chest, driving her ropeside and it’s another dreadful beating at the ropes as Eggert is bludgeoned senseless by Heigl’s thudding power.

R3: Savagely beaten Nicole Eggert stumbles off her stool for the third, Katherine Heigl shoulders up to continue her grim task, Heigl puttying her weight on Nicole, butting her back with the brawny shoulder, clouting her hard with short, heavy right hands to the ear and jaw. Eggert hurt by every punch, staggering then steadying herself laying in, clinching up around Heigl’s waist and trying to slow the big woman down. Katherine too strong to be smothered, she bashes her way past Nicole’s guard, shoves out of Eggert’s clinching and clobbers the blonde all around the ring with single shot clouts. Final moments--Nicole seated ropeside, out on her feet--Heigl leaning in with her left shoulder, then clipping short right uppercuts a Nicole stoops forward, her head swiveling horribly on her neck, face no longer registering the abuse. Bell sounds and Eggert somehow wanders to her corner and her trainer’s seen enough. Cradling Nic’s battered face to his chest, compassionate corner man sops the fight rather than let Eggert continue to take a career threatening beat down. TKO3 Katherine Heigl,

After: Sickening mismatch nevertheless entertains the bloodthirsty--Eggert proving to be the perfect foil for Heigl, soaking u0p minute after minute of wrecking ball punching with no hope of victory, but refusing to give in. Heigl pads her record, Nicole takes another in a long series of maulings as she settles comfortably into stepping stone status.
