Before: Fought at Disney World under a blazing noon day sun. Teen sensation Spears is a prohibitive favourite against willing, but virtually unknown Fishel. First of a six bout promotional package between Spears and Disney. Fishel is expected to provide a straight ahead, but limited challenge to the “next big thing” in celebrity boxing Spears.

During R1: Both girls waste no time in beating the baby fat off one another as each tears into the other with both barrels. Danielle a virtual Bridget Riley clone, makes the fight coming forward, stepping with wide lefts and overhand rights, bobbing and staying compact. Spears uncharacteristically right in front of Fishel, hands at her waist, ripping clipping right and left uppercuts into the advancing brunette’s chest and chin. Sensational sequences midway through: Britney tags Danielle with the short right as the brunette leans forward, hurting the brunette. Brittany pivots, continuing to bat at Fishel’s head with the quick underhand right, and Fishel staggers past the blonde to the ropes. Britney ppens up to pour it on with both hands, but Fishel actually smiles through the bombard-ment as Spears wails away. In the final minute, Fishel tears into Spears with her looping punches and crouching advance, catching Spears in the chest and chin after the blonde punches and leans straight back. With second left in the round, Danielle takes a combination flush on her chin, the chops with the right to the breasts, and LEFT to the jaw as Britney backs straight up, putting the blonde on her backside at the bell. Spears seems rocked going back to her corner as fishel whips the crowd into a frenzy.

R2: Spears with those fast and loose hands, beats a tune on Danielle this round as the brunette plows forward, but can’t get off. Britney still moving straight back, but her clever hands poke and slap at dani’s face and breasts, and the blonde ties the brunette up on the side to minimize Fishel’s churning inside attacls. Shoutout Britney.

R3: Britney’s corner reads her the roit act, but Spears refuses to make the fight easy, preferring to stand and mix it up more or less toe to toe with the feisty brunette. Danielle with a furious grin as she steps forward with her punches, body vibrating with each blow, backing Britney to the ropes. Vicious exchanges in close as Britney sits on the ropes, turning her shoulders into tight uppercuts and hooks while Dani heaves her fists into the blonde’s smooth midsection. Fishel takes the round. And keeps punching after the bell.

R4: Dani walks Britney down, eager to take the pitty pat jabs and stiff right uppercuts in order to bang Spears to the body. Britney sags into the ropes and leans in, holding and covering up as Dani let’s her hands go. Fishel with wild look, hair in mouth and yes as she slugs without restraint, hitting Britney low, in the hips, liver, chest and chin with alternating curling lefts and rights. Again. Fishel slugging after the Bell, prompting Referee invention as Britney cowers on the ropes.

R 5, 6: Britney Spears gets her legs into the bout, finally realizing that the little slugger in the opposite corner is too tough to mess around with. Circling, backhanding that jab from her hip, Britney can virtually dictate terms to Danielle, walking the brunette into well-timed right hand from the hip that slices thumb-up into Dani’s pretty face. Stopping, popping, then bopping out of there, Britney posts a couple of shutouts to take back some momentum.

R7: Dani with more Riley-esque pressure surges forward behind overhand rights designed to set Britney up for the crashing left hook to follow. Spears falls back into the pattern of backing straight back with her hands low, and Dani repeatedly smacks the taste out of Spears’ mouth with crunching rushes.

R8: Britney with bared teeth, rips at Dani with a furious jab, stepping back and timing the right hand as the brunette moves in, Round ends on the ropes with Dani burrowing into Spears’ body, Spears furiously twirling left and right uppercuts into her opponent.

R9: Spears with fresh legs, circles and befuddles Dani who can’t cut the ring off. Fishel crossing her arms, doesn’t punch as Spears rips off 2 and 3 punch combinations in between skipping sessions outside.

R10: Hammer and tongs finish as the fight is up for grabs and both girls know it. Dani with the early pressure, bangs to the body and head with wide punches, Britney responding up the middle with slick combinations of left hooks and right uppercuts. At the bell, both girls continue to slash away at one another until the referee intervenes. Decision comes back a shocker: Danielle Fishel on the strength of the knockdown takes it from Britney spears.

After: A shell-shocked Britney Spears wanders the ring with a lost look and trembling lips as Danielle Fishel goes wild in triumph. Exuberant youths put on a great show, and disdain for adult supervision in both corners leads to a competitive tussle.
