Michelle Tan vs Queenie Sia

Next fight on the card is between two fighters who made a successful debut with Queenie defeating fan favourite, Jamie.

Michelle: “I watched her last fight and she held up very well against Jamie which was a big surprise to everyone in our circle. Nevertheless, I will beat her and prove that I’m the best in Singapore.”

Queenie: “What do I think of my opponent tonight? I think she should stick to doing make-up tutorials on social media! Let me show you! I will punch the make-up off her face!”

Michelle Tan (28, 5'4, 1-0, Free agent)

Queenie Sia (21, 5'3, 1-0, Free agent)

Michelle fights out of the red corner in baby baby blue sports bra, grey bottoms and red gloves. Her hair tied up in a ponytail.

Queenie fights out of the blue corner with a grey top, black bottoms and black gloves. Her hair tied up in a high ponytail as well.

Round 1:
The two girls touch gloves in the center of the ring before circling. Queenie kicks things off with a few jabs but Michelle keeps her guard high, letting Queenie’s blow land on her arms. Queenie tries to confuse Michelle with her footwork but the Platinum blonde asian remains laser-focused, never letting Queenie’s body leave her sight. Michelle corners Queenie and fires a series of body blows and jabs which Queenie skillfully ducks until she caught one clean in her cheek on the way out of the corner. Michelle mounts on the offense catching a few more blows before the round ends. The round ends in Michelle’s favor based on the last 20 seconds of action.

Round 2:
Bell clangs for round 2 and both ladies touch gloves in the center once more. The pair are equally matched, going back-and-forth with no clear advantage. Michelle doubles Queenie with a body shot. Just as Michelle is about to follow up with a combo, Queenie quickly recovers and slips off to Michelle’s side, blindsiding her with a right hook to her eye. Michelle is disorientated by the blow and Queenie mounts on the offense, landing successive body shots before the bell clang, taking the lead for this round.

Round 3:
Michelle rushes into battle, throwing fierce punches in spite of a throbbing eyelid, connecting several punches on her way in, startling Queenie. Queenie retreats briefly to collect herself, taking measured jabs while keeping her distance from the swarmer. The bell signals for the end of the third round with Queenie having a narrow lead over Michelle by points but Queenie leaving more hurt after catching a few vicious blows at the start of the round.

Round 4:
Queenie enters the round with her confidence slightly shakened. On the other hand, Michelle remains determined even with a swelling eyelid. Michelle charges in harder, faster and stronger, putting Queenie on high guard. Queenie tries to put an end to Michelle’s buffeting blow with a counter punch but ends up eating leather. The round ends with Michelle in a clear lead.

Round 5:
Both ladies heave and sweat heavily as they meet in the center. Queenie extends an arm, seemingly looking for a glove-to-glove contact but sneaks a cheap shot on Michelle’s swollen eyelid!

“Argghh..F***.” Michelle screams the jab cuts her open. The crowd begins to boo Queenie’s dirty play but she couldn’t care less..She just wants to win!

Michelle shoos off the ref indicating she can still fight as she slams her gloves while Queenie smirks. If Queenie thinks the cheap shot would give her an advantage, she cannot be more wrong as it fires up Michelle even more. Michelle pressures Queenie into the corner, planting blows to her ribs and chest, causing Queenie to wince at every blow. She eventually slips out of the corner and catches Michelle in the cheek with two right jabs. The exchange remains equal through the rest of the round until Queenie manages to land another incapacitating blow to Michelle’s right eye in the last 10 seconds and takes the rest of the round. QUeenie closes the round with a narrow lead.

Round 6:
Having survived the previous round, Michelle’s corner is able to temporarily patch up her injury. The cut has also helped relieve the swelling over her eyelid, allowing better vision. Queenie comes in hot, hoping to put her injured opponent on the mat quickly. Despite some initial success, Michelle manages to weave out of her attacks and rocks Queenie with a right and a jab to the nose. Michelle quickly follows up with a right cross to her tummy but Queenie catches her off guard with a cross of her own to the face! Both ladies stumble to their side but steady themselves before continuing. Queenie’s weariness begins to show as her movements slow towards the end of the round, allowing Michelle to land a stiff uppercut that puts her on the ropes. Luckily for Queenie, the bell clang before Michelle is able to follow-up, staving off another knockdown.

Round 7:
And finally into the last quarter of the match! Both girls are soaked to the bone with sweat but not backing off from the competition. Michelle rushes in to meet Queenie head on, putting her on the defensive with relentless jabs to the face and body blows. Rocked by the uppercut in the previous round, Queenie is unable to make good judgement, absorbing the blows with her arms. Refusing to let Michelle dominate, Queenie scrambles to fight back, ending with both ladies exchanging dull smacks of leather for the next 30 seconds. However, Michelle is able to regain the advantage with a swipe across Queenie’s cheek, sending her into the ropes. DING! Michelle frowns in frustration as the bell takes away her opportunity for a decisive finish!

Round 8:
Michelle charges in confidently after getting measurable success in her comeback, ready to dish out the finishing blow with every last bit of her energy. Michelle makes a stiff righ--WHAT THE HELL!--Queenie ducks under and lands a strong uppercut to the jaw, sending Michelle into the ropes with her arms flailing. Even Queenie herself is surprised by this lucky moment! Queenie quickly rushes in and swipes Michelle’s face left and right! Michelle quickly puts a guard up and distances herself from Queenie as far as possible. Queenie keeps chasing and sneaks a right cross into Michelle’s face! Michelle stumbles into the ropes, one arm over the top to support herself. Queenie comes in with an uppercut to the stomach and right cross to Michelle’s face, sending drool and sweat flying out of the ring. Michelle goes down like a deadweight as the referee counts to 10! It’s over!

Official Decision: Queenie Sia defeats Michelle Tan via KO8

Post-match: Queenie raises her arm with a big weary smile on her face after her second win as the ringside paramedic attends to the defeated boxer.

Queenie: “I told ya! You should stick to looking pretty on social media! That’s where you belong!”
