Before: Richards not doing the math--Midajah a dangerous valet puncher=high risk, O’Hearn about as obscure as you can get=no reward--but it’s D pushing for the fight and the challenge of boxing a solid straight ahead banger. Good news for Denise: Midaja’s hittable and predictable--Richards has the class in this match up. Midi in teal cashmere ‘sports entertainment’ bra, black leather bikini bottoms, Denise in electric blue bikini.

During R1: First minute: Midaja catches Denise with an overhand right, driving Richards to her back and but knocking the sweet brunette out. Somehow--Richards rises to her feet--staggering pathetically as the ref lets it go. Second minute--after some heartless freeshots to the body soften Richards up--Midaja clocks her a driving left hook along the jaw, catching plenty of forearm on the follow through--down goes Denise as the pro-Richards crowd moans. Again, Richards makes a gut check, swoons to the ropes and the final minute is an horrific beat down--Midaja just squaring away, bludgeoning the chest, ribs and jaw of her semi-conscious foe up to and past the bell, Midi bouncing away with raised fists and a swarmy smile--Richards devastated slumps on her stool.

R2: D stumbles out for the bell, gets nailed a running right hand on the forehead, left hook ion the jaw, right hand high on the head and DOWN GOES DENISE! Midaja jumping, posturing, hamming it up--extends the count as the ref has to walk her to a neutral corner--Denise getting drowsily to er feet as blood streams from her nostril’s fun things happens the rest of the way--Richards outworks Midaja, O’Hearn way too wild--eager to finish--Denise on shot legs able to counter off the block, keeping her guard tight, then snapping off hooks and curling right hands to jerk Midaja’s head around with nifty combinations. Signs of life--but once again D is a wreck in her corner.

R3: Midaja settling into a rhythm, bodies up on her girl and walks Denise to the ropes, routinely cudgeling the ingénue low, smacking right hands against the kidney, holding and hitting as the ref repeats his warnings. Denise seated ropeside for much of the abuse--gloves at her temples as O’Hearn strokes her ribcage without mercy. Down the stretch, Richards timing Midaja nicely, catches O’Hearn a left hook of the block, turns over a short right hand with nice forearm impact, slips a shaky Midaja right and comes back with a short left uppercut to drive O’Hearn back a few steps, Midaja suddenly stunned, stops punching, Richards walking forward with clubbing lefts and rights, drives her girl the length of the ring and beats her breasts with savage intent--O’Hearn in wide-eyed shock as Richards works the heavy bags. Midi breaking down under the abuse and a cute right uppercut clips her chin--Midaja goes down! O’Hearn on one knee, gets up slow and seems relieved to hear the bell.

R4: D gritting her teeth, mustering whatever she has left to make a fight of it. Richards on stiff legs, still manages a jab and step routine, circling to her left with a methodical rhythm and touching up Midaja’s hittable eyes and mouth Nice crisp straight right hands from denise complete the package--O’Hearn stumbles into punishment this round.

R5,6,7,8: Round after round of hard, toe to toe scrapping--exactly the wrong kind of fight for Richards, but she refuses to give Midaja any other look. Richards getting beaten down, but refusing to submit--O’Hearn landing heavily, especially to the aching ribcage, repeatedly buckling Denise’s shapely legs, but unable to break the girl’s spirit. Richards doubling up on her hook, beats the right side of Midaja’s face black and blue, twisting into short right hands to the breasts as the girls fall in. It’s grueling, grinding stuff--Richards losing close competitive rounds, but falling way, way behind on the cards as Midaja closes out the stanzas working D over I the corners.

R9: Denise finally gets the message. Pivoting on her lead foot, she dabs and slaps with the left--keeping something on Midaja, pre-empting the busty brunette’s punches. D able to time her hook perfectly, smacks face, pivots to her left and drops the right hand in as Midaja predictably turns to square up. O’Hearn chasing, not cutting off the ring, and midway through, Denise fades Midaja’s right, comes back with a driving short right counter and puts wobble in those leather trunks as O’Hearn nearly takes a knee. Richards putting her punches together nicely to the bell and after 9, both women look badly treated indeed.

R10: Back to back shutouts for Richards as Midaja’s back touches the ropes for the first time O’Hearn simply flustered at Denise’s tenacity and quick combinations--often forced to cover up and take in confusion as Richards swarms, then escapes, Richards doing good work whenever she gets Midaja ropeside: left/right to the midsection, left hook or uppercut to the head depending on where Midaja’s mitts are. Beating leaves O’Hearn staring at the bell, but it’s too little, too late--UD10 Midaja O’Hearn.

After: Disappointed boos from the crowd as the victor is announced--Richards beaten unrecognizable, but defiant--refuses to be walked as Midaja grabs her arm--second brawl of the night nearly breaks out as entourages intervene. Unbelievable grit shown by Denise--beaten to the canvas 3 times in the first 2 rounds, out on her feet much of the time, somehow found the poise to fight her way to respectability in this one. O’Hearn’s power too much early, but faded late--it was D doing the hurting at the end.
