Before: Last year, Sienna made her rep and became a bit of a player at 110 by giving Penelope a healthy beating: Cruz has lobbied hard ever since for this rematch. "It has always bothered me," Penelope says of the loss in prefight. "Sienna is a typical crude British brawler and I should have battered her, but I let her embarrass me instead. It will not happen this time - I yam too strong for her, too much skilled - she will quit in tears from the beating I give her." Miller scoffing at the notion of being so pummelled by Penelope - Sienna couldn't be more confident at the podium. "Beating up Cruz is something of a pastime for we Brits," Miller jokes. "She's a bit of a delicacy amongst us - I know she's a favourite dish of mine. She's still the same old china chinned Donna she's always been: two good strokes from me and I'll her have her as I did before." Sienna in gold bikini, small black workout gloves. During R1: Sienna comes out pinwheeling: Cruz' weight on her right leg, ducks low, walks Sienna's tummy onto the left shoulder, and puuuushes her off, sending Miller back on her heels. Cruz scowling with concentration, tap-stepping to her left - elbows in, hands up, palms out. Miller tries a few more brawling rushes - Cruz fades, bends low, uses her shoulder to lever blonde off balance. Pene over to offence at the midway mark - spitting out jabs from her palms-out hand position - just a little tapping chop taking Sienna nicely on her face. Pene darting in and out on balls of her feet - very limber-legged, embarrassing Sienna below the waist. Final moments, angry Sienna loops wide rights and lefts: Pene dipping cute at the waist, counters tic-tac-toe to blonde body with curling, snapping strokes at the bell.

R2: Sienna tackles Pene to ropes: Cruz frowning, crouching forward, elbows in tight to her ribcage - she knows what's coming. Miller snarling, leaning in with her face at Penelope's left shoulder: blonde whaling away free-swinging lefts and rights downstairs - big backswing, lapping, batting action underneath as mitts bounce off Spanish meat. Pene grimacing, then tieing up around Sienna's elbows: little blonde enraged, tugging at her arms, but Penelope's too strong - Cruz able to hold on for the break. Midring, Pene in that hands up, palms out stance, spitting out the jab - slowly but surely bringing Sienna to heel. Cruz rotating smoothly to her left - jabbing at Sienna's face, then pushing her in the shoulders - Cruz actually getting big on Miller! Pene totally shutting Miller down with the constant shoving - just a short, abrupt push in the shoulders to jostle Sienna - then quick, tart punching against her face left/right/left. Miller off balance, taking shots - Pene even shoving Sienna off to one side or the other to turn blonde. Bell: Sienna loops a cheap late right hand - Pene ducks low, answers back a chugging brace of rights and lefts in the breadbasket, bunching her blonde up as outraged ref barrels in with riot act in hand.

R3: Sienna off her stool snarling - quickly tamed as she's shoulder-bumped, pushed, and face-punched into compliance. Miller being exposed here: she's ferocious and tenacious, but not strong - when she can't overwhelm foes with volume, she's fairly easy to toss about. Cruz starting to showcase, palm-shoving Sienna in her shoulders, shunting her to either side, hitting her a variety of hooks and crosses off the chippy jab. Frustrated Brit bending forward behind her gloves: Pene sweeps a brutal right roundhouse across Miller's kidneys, then pushes blonde the left hand in her shoulder to get her tottering backwards. Sienna disorganized: Pene hops in a BOLO punch with the right hand! Nice little clipping uppercut-off-the-hop to startle Sienna - Miller just staring as Pene clips her a short hook/tidy right hand on the mouth to put blonde ropeside. Miller stooping forward, cut in her mouth: Pene leans in close with her head, lapping away downstairs with batting lefts and rights of which Sienna herself would be proud. Miller blurting in pain, stiffening up - Cruz washing that little blonde body in leather, small gloves spanking out on taut flesh. Trunks? Better believe it: Pene showing a hardnosed committment to excellence, paralyzing Sienna with the odd stray trunk check.

R4: Penelope Cruz showcasing - she's got a bully discouraged and breaking down as Sienna sulks behind her mitts. Cruz very firm with Sienna, punching her hard right roundhouses in above the left hip or across the lower back whenever Miller tilts forward: quick left hand shove in the shoulder prevents any blonde repraisal. Cruz pre-empting Sienna with the jab - brunette always first, scoring liberally to blonde's increasingly polished face. When time keeper bats out 10-second warning on the apron, Pene's been erupting with straight rights and lefts up the middle, pelting Sienna's face to salt away the rounds. Sienna's wise to it this round, tries to join in: crowd pleasing flurry results as girls stand and deliver furious scrub to bell.

R5: Penelope so pretty delivering that right hand bolo uppercut to Sienna's chin: the little hop-step in - Pene's back straight, hair bouncing as she catches Sienna clean with the tight little looping action - poor Miller can only blink and face into the mop-up pasting of hooks and crosses. Cruz' right hand featuring out wide to Sienna's taut body - taking the blonde above her hip or across her back: Miller gasping, knees trembling as she absorbs these blows, then gets shoved back on her heels. Pene on her toes, constantly circling, darting in or out - she's palm-shoving from bewildering angles, keeping Sienna off balance after almost every scoring blow. Most Cruz punches are stiff, stinging straight pokes - but every once in a while she'll set down on a shot: gutting Sienna the left uppercut to sternum; digging a pump-action right to gut, then hooking Sienna's chin; batting hooks upside Sienna's head to get her staggering sideways. Bell: Miller blinking back tears as she stomps back to her corner - plan to bully Cruz into submission clearly not working through 5.

R6: Girls leaning in with their heads, trading lusty underneath - Sienna looks a little better when Cruz just laps away in kind with blonde. Pene indulging her foe in first minute swapping - then Cruz gets back onto her toes, uses those tuff little palm-shoves while keeping up a steady tapping against Sienna's head and shoulders. Miller staggering around, swinging wild - she really has no answer to Pene's pinpoint tapping, coupled with the unexpected brawn of the shoving, and that bumping shoulder down low in the hips. Time keeper bats out the 10-second warning: Cruz bares her teeth as she revves up her attack through the middle, punching brisk, straight lefts and rights against Sienna's face to the bell. Miller nearly dropped by the repetitious beating, stumbles back to her corner with moist eyes, bleeding nose.

R7: Sienna crouching midring, completely confused, dukes at her temples: Pene scores brutally to kidney with that sweeping right, then digs her left hook firm up underneath, arching her back to get into Sienna firm. Miller groaning, backing away from the hurt - she's psychologically broken, hounded to ropes by exuberant Pene. Cruz baring her teeth - going back to that body with a withering barrage of near straight-arm lefts and rights shivering off poor Sienna - Pene leaning forward, pouring in hurt by the boatload. Cruz slugging away, pushing off ball of right foot for leverage, shoving into Sienna to stack her up and reset: this thing's a jailbreak now as Miller starts bawling. Pene eating Sienna up - shoving her ragdoll, swinging away at her defenceless midsection, scrubbing left/right at her face - Miller's a blubbering wreck. Ref steps in, cradling little blonde to safety as Cruz crows in vindictive triumph. TKO7 Penelope Cruz

After: Cruz BEAMING, hands high as she struts the ring - what a ferocious pasting she gave poor Sienna tonight. Miller blubbering as Penelope had promised - Spaniard pointing and laughing with absolute disregard for her opponent's feelings. Plenty of talk from the Cruz camp of a final reckoning with Salma Hayek - Hayek now possibly finally old enough that Pene might be able to overhaul her. Revenge sought against Naomi Watts, and regional rivalry with Virginie Ledoyen looms - Pene could be a busy little brunette in the coming months.
