Two debutants at bantamweight next – the blonde 26 year old Hollyoaks babe Gemma against Anglo-Asian Pooja, the 31 year old former Eastenders actress. Another soap babe battle to savour beween these two shapely actresses.

Gemma’s much admired body is encased in a black one-piece bodice, with Pooja wearing pink, and the chesty pair sneer at each other pre-fight. Gemma has a reputation as a fighter, and starts slight favourite against unknown quantity Pooja.

Round 1

Clash of styles here – Gemma on her toes, darting back and forth, dancing almost, her neat left jabs and follow up rights clipping the older girl’s face as she looks to stalk Gemma, occupying the centre of the ring, counter punching and closing the blonde’s escape routes off, but she’s taking a lot of punches in there to set the younger girl up, and she’s looking shabby as the round draws to a close, turning round, looking like she’s swatting a fly as Gemma jolts her head back again and again.

Gemma’s round – Pooja looks bewildered.

Round 2

Gemma’s still on her toes, bobbing, dancing, jab jab jabbing, and Pooja doesn’t seem to have an answer to this high energy onslaught. The older girl is very much letting the blonde do all the work, stepping forward now and then, only to find her tormentor punching her from a different angle, and those accurate jabs are beginning to mark the Shah features, the older actress frowning as she continues to be frustrated in her attempts to land the big hooks she is throwing, and she finds herself nearer to the ropes as the round closes, then lands her first telling punch – right hook – which takes the wind out of Merna’s sails.

Gemma again – but beware Pooja’s punch!

Round 3

More of the same to start the round from Gemma, her sharp, stinging jabs finding, and making, their mark, with Pooja’s more stationary, punch-trading style and she takes more punishment from the young blonde in the first part of this round. Gemma is noticeably breathing harder as the round progresses, slowing slightly, but she does feel some success again as she has Pooja backed up to the ropes, then she gets some good shots into the older girl’s body, but this could suit Shah, who is now beginning to trade, and her harder shots make dull thudding noises as they find their target – Gemma’s ribcage – making the blonde retreat by the bell.

Gemma takes 3 in a row.

Round 4

Gemma is breathing hard earlier in this round, still bobbing, weaving, jabbing, not on her toes for as long as she was earlier, but still landing plenty of leather in Pooja’s face, and now she is the one taking the centre-ring, with Shah getting moved to the ropes, sliding along now, into a corner, and Gemma’s cracked her with a great left hook to the jaw there, knocking her girl’s head sideways. Here comes a right to the body – nice work Gem! Now another, and a left to the mouth for good measure, and Pooja looks stunned by that, her clumsy style not helping her, and she has to take another solid left to the mouth before she is able to bang her own punches at Gemma, which the blonde blocks easily, still having time to hit Pooja’s body before the bell.

Gemma again – she’s moving out of sight here!

Round 5

Blinking hard, Pooja looks more aggressive this time around, but Gemma has enough energy in the early exchanges to clip her face with those stinging jabs, and she avoids Shah’s swinging hooks with little trouble, then, with the older girl overbalancing, she drills a straight left into her mouth, and drops her to the floor, a stumbling Pooja down for a 6 count, and now she’s angry, which isn’t good, just throwing wild punches at Gemma, the blonde taking them on her gloves and arms before she hurts Shah to the body with a much sharper, more accurate left hook, and she has her girl on the ropes again at the bell.

5 from 5 for Gemma – this is one-sided, now.

Round 6

Gemma ‘s confidence is soaring as she somehow finds even more energy, her gloves now just bouncing off Pooja’s swelling face, and she soon has the older girl backed up again, gets in close – ah, too close! Shah just gets Merna to the ribs with her right hook, hurts her, then gets her again, turns her, and now it’s Gemma on the ropes, and is she getting belted here! The blonde is just sliding along the rope, her defence shot, and now she’s cornered, taking one hell of a battering from the older girl, and down she goes! Gemma Merna floored for an 8 count – and there’s still time to go – Pooja hurts the blonde again to the body, staggers her with a left to the jaw, but can’t quite follow up as Gemma sags against the ropes.

Pooja gets a big, big round.

Round 7

And Gemma’s not dancing any more! Pooja closes her down very easily, has her against the ropes, and she’s clubbing those hooks into the blonde’s flanks, each one bringing a squeak from those lips, and the girl’s guard is coming down coming down. Pooja looks for head punches now, but she’s exposing her own torso for punishment, and Gemma makes one huge effort, her low arms able to rip into the older girl’s gut, and Pooja slumps against her, arms loose on Merna’s shoulders, her belly vulnerable, and Gem rips a left into it, Pooja’s knees buckle, then she pushes her back, standing her up – one-two to the face and Pooja is down, exhausted, hurt, and counted out.

Gemma Merna knocked Pooja Shah out in round 7.

A dominant performance by Gemma, bar the beating she took in the 6th, and she is excited, “I knew I had it! Knew it! Oh, boy! I want one of those Pretty Little Liars! Don’t care which one!”
