BEFORE:
Small wonder these two legendary Hollywood actresses have yet to face off in the ring, and Megan Fox plans to rectify that tonight with a quick and decisive victory.

“Obviously, we would have been very different fighters if we had fought each other ten years ago. Eliza’s of course a legend in the whole FCBA, having won multiple championships and a Hall-of-Famer herself. I’m eager to test myself against her, a recent Hall-of-Famer to an established one.”

“Fox is a little late to the table, but she’s clearly done more than enough to earn herself a seat at the table. Is she on the level of some of the greats, though, like myself? I don’t think so,” Eliza says with a slightly cocky expression.

“Guess we’ll find out, won’t we?” Megan shoots back, trying to retain her cool.

Ladies square off at the podium and even at 41, Eliza Dushku still looks toned and dashing, her biceps flexed as she stares Megan down. Speaking of whom, Fox looks secured in her own chances as well, fresh off losing the title to a certain Vanessa Hudgens but now looking to get back into the running. No shake of the hands after the ring officials ask them if they’d like to, with both women simply making a grunting noise and then turning their backs on each other.

Hours later, Eliza is in one corner of the ring, still looking sensational in a navy sports bra and black short tights. She raises a pair of white gloves to the crowds when her name is called. In the other corner, Fox is banging together a pair of baby pink gloves, baring her toned and recovered body in a dark pink bikini, with her black hair tied back.

Referee calls for the start of this bout between Hall-of-Famers, who again pound their gloves into each other’s with a little too much force. Sound of the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Ladies both spritely despite their age, but Megan forcing more punches in to kick off this match. Megan has had more time in the ring, and it makes sense that she’s landing those early one-two combos straight to Eliza’s nose and lips. Dushku, however, doesn’t seem fazed even after she takes a third punch that grazes her chin. Instead, biding her time to punt Fox back to her chest and chin with a return straight hand. Fox gets a rude wakeup call in the second half of the round when her punches are returned tit-for-tat, and Dushku is proving why she’s the O.G. Hall-of-Famer when she expertly dips under a straight hand from Fox before pounding her own left hand into her lips and then rocks her up high with a hook. Megan might have taken the round earlier but she’s clearly not ending it on a high note.

ROUND 2:
Dushku continues to toy with her opponent, hanging back with expert defences and then launching swift counterattacks that frustrate Megan’s tactics. The Vixen was probably thinking she was in for an easy time by facing off against someone almost a decade older than her, but she’s clearly being outclassed by Eliza’s parries and return jabs that sink into her cheek and tummy. More frustrated than hurt, Fox tries to rush the older girl and go out swinging, but her attacks miss overhead or to the side as Dushku shows off the agility she’s still got. Late in the round, though, Megan scores with a straight cross to the middle of the arms, offering her a glimmer of hope when Eliza lets out a grunt in turn, but soon after, Dushku preserves her lead by hanging back and keeping her guard tight.

ROUND 3:
So far, Eliza proves she’s still got what it takes in the ring. She continues to frustrate Megan’s advances, mostly by blocking her flurries to the arms before firing back with her own combos. First minute sees multiple of such forays as Megan breaks against Dushku’s defences like a tsunami trying to roll over the shoreline. Fox does sting a jab or two off the older woman’s forehead, but Eliza is always holding her arms steady for the follow-up hook or cross that rams in, before returning fire to Megan’s unprotected body. Those abs of Fox can only take so much of a beating, and Megan spends a lot of this round grunting and growling as her tummy takes a pounding. Close round overall with both ladies suffering damage.

ROUND 4:
Dushku’s slowing down and it’s a signal for Fox to leap in and pound away even more. The recent Hall-of-Famer has gotten even more aggressive and risky ever since her last title run ended to Vanessa Hudgens, and it could be simply due to the fact she has little left to prove in her already illustrious career. She stays back for awhile at first, trading jabs with Eliza, then suddenly rushes the older woman down and lands dinging more hooks off the side of her head and body shots for payback. Eliza also dishing out damage like always, but it’s clear that she’s been on the retreat for a good three rounds now. How much longer she can hold out like this is anyone’s guess. Another left-right combo slams into her guard, shoving her back with a grunt, but Fox still charging in after and banging her fists off her tummy, which makes the rest of her body shudder from each impact. Bell rings and Eliza has scored more often on the Vixen, but Fox is clearly taking ground for herself.

ROUND 5:
Fox finds herself with excellent stamina for her age, and you just have to look at her pristine and toned body to know the ex-Flyweight champ ain’t about to retire anytime soon. Fox again wades in with her arms ready to throw down, and Eliza is having a harder time fending her off. First minute sees both fighters trading multiple jab combos to each other’s faces, exchanging mutual grunts as leather sinks into cheeks. Second minute and Fox is having her way, constantly pushing Dushku back with a sudden charge-in and uppercut bangin’ into her stomach or up into her arms, headhunting constantly, and Eliza can only grunt and shout out in pain before resetting at a distance to repeat this dance all over again. Fox is of course not unscathed by the end of the round, breathing hard and her face turning a bright shade of pink from all that abuse, but she’s the one still smiling, raising her hand high on her way back to her corner.

ROUND 6:
Dushku needs to turn things around and fix her strategy if she wants to win this fight. Fox’s repeated aggression is taking its toll on the older fighter, and no amount of punishment seems to stop Megan’s advance. First minute sees more forays into the brunette’s territory, and Dushku is forced to cover up both high and low as Fox pesters her with lunges to her head and body in tandem, scoring multiple times as Eliza just can’t keep up with her defences. Second minute and Eliza’s had enough, suddenly lunging back with a hook outta nowhere to the face, and it connects clean with Megan’s cheek to earn her a loud grunt of her own! But Fox ain’t retreating yet! The Vixen chooses to stand her ground and instead go out swinging herself! BOTH LADIES TURNING EACH OTHER’S FACES FROM SIDE TO SIDE before Fox lands a wicked uppercut to the chin! AND THERE DUSHKU GOES, her head snapped upwards and the rest of her body flailing backwards! MEGAN WADES INTO HER, swinging more punches high and low!! And the Hall-of-Famer is in trouble, eyes squeezed shut as her body takes another left-right-left, which bowls her over, before a final hook across the face SWIVELS her down to canvas!! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Megan Fox, and could this be it?!? Eliza groans as she hits the ground, slowly wilting down to her side, then turning over to her back! Referee starts the count just because of her reputation in the ring, but it’s no use! Dushku stays down throughout the count, shaking her head from side to side and barely pawing at the canvas! It’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Eliza Dushku via KO6!

AFTER:
“She’s still a legend,” Fox says with a smile. “But even legends aren’t invincible. Like I said, if this fight happened years ago, perhaps this would be a very different fight, when Eliza was in her prime.”

Fox parades about the ring in the immediate aftermath, later actually helping Eliza back to her feet and wishing her well for the future. Eliza looking dazed throughout but recovered enough for a brief smile of her own and congratulations offered to the raven-haired fighter.

The two fighters share a hug and then raise each other’s hands to the crowds. What’s next on Megan’s radar isn’t clear yet, but what is is that the Vixen still has the drive and skills to succeed in the ring.
