Before: fight set to open the brand new Las Vegas Playboy Club as Reno Mero continues to re-invent herself. Last meeting between these two a crushing KO loss for Sable, who has been spending the last year fighting semi-private bouts in an effort to re-tool and hone her decent talent. Last outing a horrific, should-have-been-stopped-WAY-early mauling of ancient Lynda Evans—leaves many wondering if Rena can handle the step up against Deb. Meanwhile. Miss Debra has put together a nice unbeaten streak in Sable’s absence, and looks to use Mero’s good name to cement her reputation. Sable in navy spandex short shorts, white stripes, navy crop top with zipper front—Deb in pink short shorts, pink twist top.

During R1: Sable wipes the grin off Debra’s face early. Both girls stand, plant and hurl right hands to open festivities, but Sable goes low, bouncing her fist off Debra’s toned sternum, while McMichaels misses over the top. DEBRA IS HURT! Deb with a sick look of pain, looks wobbly butt as Sable drives her back with a series of straight right hands calmly steadying Debra with the extended left before slugging. Debra cut at the corner of the mouth, eyes staring, as Sable beats her groggy. Debra helpless against the ropes, hands low, taking bombs off her face as Sable is able to stand straight up, c--- her whole body and launch haymakers without interruption. Debra sliding along the ropes, looks like she may go down on several occasions, bhut is able to prop her butt up in the corner to weather more abuse. Sable tireless on the attack, bangs with looping right hands to the head and body, putting everything into the punches, then leaning into the hurting Debra to stuff her back into the corner. It’s a massacre from bell to bell. McMichael’s busted up, battered senseless and sable bodies up chest to chest at the end to scream into Debra’s sleepy face as the crowd goes wild. Debra wandering back to her corner, can’t answer the referee coherently upon being questioned—apparently, that’s good enough to let things continue.

R2: Debra with some tepid right hands, backs Sable up early as Rena obviously arm weary, but Sable to get her footwork down, easily steps around the staggering Deb, working the jab to the chest to steer McMichael in a drunken pivot. Midway through the round, Sable steps left off the jab, and lunges into another crashing right hand that bangs Debra’s head straight back and McMichael is hurt AGAIN! Sable patient, leans in low with her head brushing Debra’s hip, making a McMichael counter impossible, then springing up with a snapping left hook to bash Debra’s head to the side. Deb looking to clinch, is a mess, and Sable tears into those gigantic jugs with clubbing right uppercuts, preparatory to more batting left hooks in the jaw. Deb on the ropes, magnificent legs shivering, eyes half shut, taking punishment, finally sinks to her knees. Sable with the extra left hook on the temple pushes Debra to her side, and the 10 count is never I doubt. To the delight of fans, Sable pushes the ref out of the way and flops down to pin the semi-conscious Debra, smiling and tossing her head until she is heaved off the hurting blonde. KO2 for Sable in one of the most impressive power punching displays in recent memory.

After; Nobody expected this to go long, but Sable’s repeated and vicious strikes to Debra’s head with right hands startled everyone, including Sable. Website hits increase 10 fold as a result, and Mero gains mainstream notoriety with appearances on Larry king, 20’20 and the various morning shows, Debra badly beaten for the first time in her career must pick up the pieces and head back to the drawing board.
