BEFORE:
Another highly anticipated fight tonight with Jessica Chastain making her sixth appearance this year and Chopra with a slightly higher tally, but no less success. One thing’s for sure though: these two mature women are still going strong, fighting a schedule that any younger woman would be proud of.

"People have been telling me I should reconsider this fight after my loss to Minka.... You'll have to excuse my french, but f*ck that! Is Priyanka bigger and younger? Yeah she is. Is she the favorite? I guess...? Is that going to stop me? Hell no!” Chastain unusually fired up during the press conference, having strode into the room earlier with nary a smile or acknowledgement of the reporters within.
“I've had a damn good year with wins over great boxers like Beckinsale, McAdams and McCarthy… I'm not backing down from anyone, even someone who’s beaten Katheryn twice now. I'm here to take her out and if I'm not going to do it at least I'm going to give her one HELL of a fight tonight. I'm not playing around!"

Priyanka is caught on camera smirking the entire way through, perhaps dismissive of her opponent’s chances tonight, especially given how she’s accrued an impressive resume already against the Dollhouse members.

“Chastain said it best just now - I’ve already knocked her blonde friend out twice. It’ll be a pleasure to do the same to you, Jess. She can talk tough all she wants, but the truth is, she hasn’t had a good year. Just a mediocre one. Deep down inside, she knows she has no chance tonight. I admire her for trying though….it’s definitely…cute.” Priyanka ends with a chuckle.

Ladies square off at the podium and there’s few handshakes and smiles to go around. Terse glare nose-to-nose as they pose with both hands on their hips, Chastain’s two-inch height disadvantage may mean the redhead will have to work extra hard once they get into the ring later on. Priyanka’s also known for her power-swings, having knocked out prior girls like Dobrev and Benoit in a heart-beat.

Hours later, the Indian sensation “Big Choppy” is striding down to the ring in a purple sports bra, loose and flowy, with black gym shorts and purple gloves. She raises them high on-stage before taking the arena in with her eyes fixed and straight on the prize at the end of the ramp. Chastain’s entrance is marked by the usual orange and white fireworks and sparklers, as the actress casually strides onto arena, posing with one hand poised on her hip. She’s wearing her usual fiery orange sports bra and long orange tights for bottoms with matching black and orange gloves.

Neither girl acknowledges the fans or what-nots through their entrances, too focused on the goal at hand and merely going through the motions in the ring as they finally square off at opposite corners. Referee gets a nod from both sides and waves his hand for the bell - HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Another defensive fighter on the Dollhouse payroll and Chastain has used her patience to great effect in the past, famously knocking out Kate Beckinsale after six rounds at the beginning of this year. Her arms are already up and ready for anything as she moves forward in a circular fashion, the occasional jab fired towards Priyanka’s head to test her opponent’s resolve. Priyanka for some reason also takes the first round slow and steady, moving sideways rather than forwards as she absorbs those early punches to her arms, an occasional right hand tagging her on the cheek, however. Could she also be testing the Doll’s defences? She barely fires any shots back this round, and when she does, it’s a straight-fisted right or left that barely manages to puncture Jess’ guard. Wide round goes to Jessica by the end of three minutes as a result, though we’d say it’s not from an abundance of action.

ROUND 2:
And there we go! Action picks up a few notches as both girls finally get enough confidence to stride in close to brawl, and oh boy are they SWINGIN’ AWAY! Priyanka not f*cking around all of a sudden as she brazenly sends a hook into the side of Chastain’s head, hoping to stun her opponent early and cut those weathered strings before things pick up. Chastain groans as she’s thrown off balance, but manages to swing back with her own angled uppercut that almost snaps the Indian actress’ head to the sky, if not for her quickly-formed guard. Ladies punish each other this way for a good thirty seconds, throwing heads and torsos to the side with mutual grunts, but it’s ultimately Priyanka who prevails, tossing the older girl off balance with a final dull shot sent across her face. Jessica manages to gather her wits by the ropes and regroup, spends the rest of the round fending off Priyanka’s assault with jabs.

ROUND 3:
It’s clear that both these fighters possess the power to put each other face-down to the canvas, but Chastain needs to be more careful if she doesn’t want to kiss the canvas first. Already, Chopra’s coming at her hot, sensing weakness in the redhead and wanting to finish the job early. Chastain evades hooks and combos in the first minute, showing how quick she can be when she’s focused, as she parries and weaves backwards to avoid. Slowly, she’s biting back, a quick hook of her own snapped into Priyanka’s cheek in the middle minute, before another dull swing snags her tummy multiple times on the side. Priyanka’s grunting, finally gets the message and retreats, but her arms are thrown up a second too late, as Jess steps in and POWERS a right hand through to the chin - AND CHOPRA’S wobbling backwards, her head thrown back in shock - Big Choppy loses her balance and falls butt-first down to canvas! It’s an early KNOCKDOWN for Jessica Chastain!!

Roar of approval from the rest of the arena, and the Dollhouse corner as well, as Chastain scores first blood of the evening, continues to impress against the odds! Priyanka left breathing hard on her buttocks, shaking her head for a couple of seconds before starting to climb, and making a full recovery by the count of 8. What started as an early scare for the Dollhouse member has turned 180 degrees by the end of the third round, with her future looking bright if she can continue to shock and surprise.

ROUND 4:
Chastain moving inwards with more aggression, expected after her huge win in that last round. Jab combos followed by hooks snag Priyanka on the arms as the Doll takes control of the narrative, pushing and shoving dirt into Chopra’s frame in the first minute alone, as Chopra looks like all the fight has left her body. Priyanka’s corner perhaps instructing their girl to lockdown this round and stay alive, but the Indian sensation doesn’t always listen to reason, her rebellious streak powering back in the second minute as she catches Chastain with a sudden, overhand right hand to her temple, stunning the Doll with a loud shout of pain. Chastain’s head gets rocked to one side with another hook, and suddenly, the odds are once again flipped as Chopra pushes her assailant back till the final moments of the bell. It’s a close round that’s stolen by the HISC corner as Chastain still hasn’t learned to deal with her foe’s damaging power.

ROUND 5:
Back to basics now, as advised by both corners, as Chastain looks slightly deflated coming out from her stool. At one point, both ladies thought this fight might have been over early, but now, they’re both not too sure about that, as they take small steps forward, even smaller jabs sent towards the head as though we’re back in round one. Jessica’s striking with more frequency by the end of the first minute after she scores a one-two hit to the nostrils when Chopra wasn’t paying attention. But the Doll pays the price of it almost immediately, when Priyanka shrugs off the stinging pain and PUNTS her face back in with a step-in cross - SMACK of leather delivered to the middle as Chastain’s nose and lips disappear in leather. Chopra quickly exploits, sending faster lefts and rights into the groaning woman’s facial features, with Jess stumbling back with her arms flying all over the place. HUGE Final BASH delivered hard and straight to the cheek, sending Chastain flying OFF her feet, the poor woman hits the ground on her side with a loud THUD that reverberates through the stadium! That power from Chopra was just TOO MUCH for Chastain as the Referee takes one glance at her limp figure and decides that enough’s enough - Jessica ain’t making ANY effort to get up from that number! He waves his hands and calls for the bell. The fight’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Priyanka Chopra defeats Jessica Chastain via KO5!

AFTER:
Look of disappointment in the Dollhouse corner, faces buried in hands, as the first Doll falls here tonight, with Chastain choosing the wrong opponent to end her year with, putting her at a respectable 3-3 for the year. Priyanka celebrating with a huge roar on her way back to corner, the HISC girl proving her worth again tonight, showing her toughness and power and putting on a show for the Doll Ball crowd by knocking the crowd favorite out cold in 5.
Chopra receiving pats on the back as she makes her way back to corner, completely ignoring Chastain, who’s unconscious body is getting dragged by the medical team to her own. A smirk never leaves Chopra’s face for the remainder of the post-fight segmant, even as she’s stopped by reporters on her way out who ask for her thoughts:

“What did I tell you guys? Jessica and her management overreached tonight. She’s a smart fighter, but physically, she never stood a chance against me. If I was her manager, I’d advise her to fight cougars, that’s what I think. Women like me are out of her league at this stage. You’re 43 Jess, give it a rest or you’ll experience some serious pain like you did tonght. Me? I’ve got a few good years ahead of me. I’m still destined for the big leagues.”
A disappointing first bout for the Dollhouse camp as Priyanka leaves the ring to some loud boos throughout the arena, with the home crowd having to watch the defeated redhead slowly being revived inside the ring and being helped backstage by her team as the crowd cheers for her valiant yet failed attempt at taking Big Choppy down tonight.
