"Sure, we could continue to dance around each other, picking off bantam names while waiting for the other to falter, but I say let's square off and settle things. I want the Beckinsale fight, the Spears fight, the MacAdams fight - I want to be the authoress of Neve's demise and the one to expose Evangeline Lilly. I want to tame Jenny McCarthy and avenge my loss to Olivia Munn But I'm not going to get those opportunities while people are still comparing me to Lindsay. So she goes first."

Price pursing her lips, shaking her head: she's not convinced. "Look at our records," Price shrugs. "Compare us. Holly's done nothing like what I've accomplished in boxing. I've claimed steadily against the best girls in the division: Holly's been cherry-picking, trying to kick girls when they're down or struggling. I went at a motivated Britney Spears and beat her up, then did it again when she wouldn't accept the verdict: that's what needs to be recognized here. I'm putting Holly away, and when I do - I'm demanding big paydays. I've earned them."

Lindsay in scarlet bra and panties of some plush material, with lace trim; black gloves; hair in long, dark tangles. Holly in black bra and panties (DOA); black gloves; blonde shoulder length hair.

During R1: Similar confident, prowling stances - girls pointing left shoulders, keeping left hands at hips, right hands near chins. Slick - lots of feints and step-outs; show one hand, bring the other; lead hooks or lead right hands off sudden pounces. Minimal, nipping contact: both girls too shrewd defensively, anticipating each other well.

R2: Price baits Holly to ropes: brunette sets up pocket, inviting Holly to attack. Gorgeous, smooth, slick counterpunching from Price - working effortlessly off the ropes, slipping and rolling on the spot, then whacking back at her blonde. Price fitting punches to Holly's breasts and pecs, cuffing the tummy, swiping at chin...then covering up, rolling with the receipts. Linds also chopping the knife edge of her hands (palm-up delivery) in atop either Valance hip: ref barks warnings. Valance sturdy, taking blows well, landing the odd swinging right in Lindsay's flank - but clean blonde punching hard to come by, and she's paying a steep price for missing. No pun intended.

R3: Price aggressive at the open, flurrying for pesky points, then retreating to ropes, knowing Holly must follow to get even. Valance smart: she reaches in under Lindsay's arms, bodying up, making brunette take weight: Holly refusing to play Price's game this time. Smothering tummy-to-tummy applied: Holly atop Price, smearing her along ropes, tucking punches into tummy, throwing close-in shoulders at mouth or rude forearms against ribs when there's no room to do anything else. Valance a master at snug dirty boxing: she rubs and bumps her way to points over a grimacing, trapped Lindsay in the third. Stream of warnings from ref to Holly: "Cut out the rough-house Holly - man, I mean it!"

R4: Midring boxing - Valance leans in with a buggywhip right hand hard across Lindsay's ribs: Price distressed, backs off wounded. Valance pursues, but Price is brilliant in retreat - walking Holly into punches and clinches, turning her, tying her up for ref's breaks. Holly takes the round for landing the most effective shot: Lindsay minimizes the advantage like a real pro.

R5: Clever bump and slug midring: both girls adept at fighting at close range while making themselves hard to find. Price gets the better of swiping, cuffing exchanges - treating herself to Holly's scrumptious tummy and golden-brown jugs. Valance trying to jerk right uppercuts inside: grazing contact only.

R6: Girls trade supple, short hooks: Lindsay puts Holly wobbly butt. Valance stumbling away with how-could-you eyes: her turn to set up shabby at ropes, bravely facing into Lindsay's finishing might. Price stepping-to, but patient: she paws the lead right up top, occupying Holly's mitts, then strokes blonde belly vicious hooks. Weight on right foot, Price works short right uppercuts and swiping left hooks; weight on left foot - Price drags the right into Holly's breadbasket, landing thick. Valance badly beaten through the middle minute, but proving durable: by the final minute she's firming, answering back off the ropes. Price hooked to her chin, then swatted about her breasts: she's much more tentative, crowding shoulder to shoulder in nip/tuck trading to bell.

R7: Supple in-fighting: both girls comfortable rubbing and bumping each other in between hacks. Each relaxed - using the left shoulder to nudge the other around; going to earmuff guards to block; trusting tummies to take whatever's coming. Holly's tightly-turned right uppercut probably the difference: she finds a piece of Lindsay's chin, and all of her ribs on several occasions.

R8: Same again - girls electing close ranges, fighting shoulder to shoulder. Fight moving in a wandering path around the ring as one girl scores, bumps her way forward; the other girl pivoting, looking for angles. Cute, slick stuff: both girls very comfortable punching off either foot, easing in and out with body lean in wide stances. Price gets the better of it - shifting from a relaxed crossed-arm to earmuff and back - doing a better job defensively at close quarters.

R9: Same again - slick bantams getting snug, working for all three minutes in patient, sultry rhythms. Holly with the edge - deploying her right hand to Lindsay's tummy and rack with short, jagged pumps...then whacking her in behind left elbow with the sidearm buggywhip. Price taking it, but cringing, output dropping: Holly's weight of shot decisive in the 9th as Price falls off the pace.

R10: Price leaning in with Holly - she shakes the blonde an early right/left thick to paunch, momentarily shutting Valance down. Price able to capitalize, picking Holly up out of her earmuff with the close-cropped right uppercut; hooking her chin, hooking her breasts, backing her up. Holly stung, but rallying well at the apron: she stays compact - right hand at left shoulder, left across her gut, rolling her torso to deny Lindsay cheap connects. Price settles in, dominating Holly near ropes, but unable to hurt her again: Linds just staying busy, swatting and cuffing paunch and flanks with snatching little shots to bell. Comes back UD10...draw.

AFTER: Both girls clearly dismayed, grinding into each other for no result after a truly bruising dime. Little to choose between them: Holly a little bigger, a little more physical, maybe sturdier; Price a touch sneakier, a smidge better defensively. Draws typical of meetings between able ring generals: one of these girls needs to find a punching solution against the other.
