BEFORE: "Shakira's a tough, willful fighter," Hannah admits in prefight, "but I've got a lot more on offer. I've skills she can't match; quickness; guile...I really don't think Shakira thinks in her fights - she just works and reacts. I'll get atop her, manage her ferocity and tidy her up for the win!" Shakira about to speak her piece at podium, when she breaks into wild gypsy belly-dancing tarantala, whirling about as usually jaded press corp turns into a bunch of drooling, clapping, fanboys. Hannah all crossed arms and furious: Colombian akank! Hanna in powder blue sport top; navy sport bikini bottoms; small white gloves; frisky short ponytail with scrapper's bangs. Shakira in black bra; leopard print bikini bottoms; small black gloves; blonde hair in loose blonde ringlets. During ring instructions...Shak making taunting eye contact slowly lifts her hands above her head, starting to sway her hips...Hannah shouts: "DON'T!"

During R1: Shak dukes-at-chin, elbows-in, bobbing and weaving her way in, wishing for ribcage. Hannah popping area-denial jabs - chipping at Shakira's hairline; sidestepping Colombian firecracker. Also on the menu for Hannah: tattooing straight right/lefts off the jab; hesitation left uppercuts while pivoting-clockwise.

R2: Shak doing a better job cutting off ring, getting into Hannah's chest, forcing her to fight. Spearritt willing to accommodate however - dippin'-and-diggin' in tight with Shakira - both girls flashing quick, snatching combos head and body. Hot n' heavy hup-hup at close quarters - girls weaving side to side, slugging rapidamente out of the crouch: crowd enjoying the non-stop staccato beat of little fists on taut meat.

R3: Pattern of these rounds is Hannah in charge early with her legs and jab, turning Shakira, making her pay rent for real-estate...Shak eventually penetrating...then both women working hup-hup-hup to bell. It's deficit-fighting for Shakira: by the time she's inside, Hannah just has to stay even to keep her lead.

R4: Shak breaks pattern - spitting stubby jabs from her crouch to disrupt Hannah's routine; getting to Hannah's chest early; forcing Hannah ropeside. Fighting off ropes a whole different ball game: Shakira working the gut via chugging right/left/rights; bumping that left shoulder; hook-hook-hooking her way up top, finishing on chin. Hannah disheveled, getting worked over: she's getting groggier and groggier, unable to clinch or slug her way out of this. Down the stretch, stifling body work paralyzes Hannah: pair of carving right uppercuts picks up her mouth, drops her to all fours at bell. Shakira raises mitts, sways her hips seductively while looming over top hurtin' Hannah...ref steps in to assess warning for 'taunting'.

R5: Bitter, scouring stuff - girls tuck in close, rubbing shoulders and tousles as they scrub away tight uppercuts or hooks. Non-stop two-way stuff - girls snatching and ripping at each other without mercy. Bell: both lasses panting, mouths open, eyes blazing as ref pulls 'em apart to enforce break.

R6: Same again - fighters just edging in with lead left shoulders and swappin' it up from there. Glorious stuff - girls picking each other up via tidy left uppercuts; punishing one another's racks tasty shoe-shines in close; snatching tummies with either hand snappy; small mitts bouncing tart off jiggling flesh. Bell: they're still at it - ref has to pull seething little vixens apart...and Shakira spits on the canvas at Hannah's feet! Fight delayed as Hannah tries to get at her foe with fresh hate.

R7: Same again! Stupendous work rate - most of close-in, compact power punching. All even until a late Spearritt hook toggles Colombian chin, loosens Colombian legs and has Shakira stepping in fence post holes. Hannah pounces, but bell sounds before she can get Shak into serious trouble. Still: Spearritt glancing back en route to her corner, grinning dimply to see Shak's buttocks all a-wobble!

R8: Hannah: weight on left leg; left hand chip-chipping at Shak's hairline; right hand jotting straight to face; head dipping side to side; crisp pivots clockwise. Shakira touched up, but coming forward - by final minute she's located Hannah's rib cage via ripping left hooks. Tough to score - Hannah with volume, position and time of possession: Shak landing the heavier shots in a rousing 8th.

R9: Hannah again: wheelin' and dealin' from that front leg. Chippin', tappin', scuffin' stuff from Hannah - peppy punching keeping Shakira out on the end of poke. Bell to bell - Hannah with a tight lipped, hard-hearted grin as she touches Shakira up for crucial late points through 9.

R10: Shak won't go quietly: she jabs her way in, engaging Hannah shoulder to shoulder, tousles scrubbing in close-quarters. Girls punching each other drowsy - in close enough that Hannah frequently just closes her eyes and lets her hands go on auto. All Shakira...she works Hannah to ropes, then systematically abuses her - touching British girl tummy to temples with a steady beat. Bell: ref pulls seething Colombian off wilting Briton, but it's too little too late...comes back UD10 Hannah Spearritt.

AFter: Hot blooded Shakira stamping her foot, wailing in tantrum: all she remembers is owning Hannah in the tenth. "She's tuff as advertised," shiny and touched-up Hannah admits in postfight. "I felt I did box her to ribbons - and I did hurt her on occasion - but Shakira does not back down. Time and again, I thought I'd taken control, only to find her suddenly atop me and working hard. It's a great win for me - a real boost to know that I can handle this kind of pressure!"
