Before: "Park's a nightmare for any bantam," says Neve Campbell in her bantam-watch column for Celebrity Ring. "She's freakishly tall, but wiry strong - like a really well conditioned Hilarie Burton, but with more power. The other thing about Park is that she fights well on the inside - keeps her elbows in, gets fearsome whippy leverage in tight - I'd say she even PREFERS the phonebooth to space. I've sparred with Reiko and I know she's got one of the best boxing minds in the sport - so she knows all this about Grace. How she's going to get in and get work done, without getting torn to pieces, is what this fight is destined to reveal".

Park in pale green clingy tank top over black sport top and black cotton bottoms; small black work out gloves; puncher's ponytail with messy swept bangs. Reiko in purple halter-style top (twist tied); low-rise hipster fit bottoms; small black work out gloves; black curls back in scruffy battle bun.

DURING R1: Bad start for Reiko - she engages Grace at close ranges, encounters Park's vicious licking delivery first-hand. Aylesworth clubbed to her knees early - punched to her buns late: Grace just keeping elbows in, clipping and licking away for a busy 10-7 first.

R2,3: Reiko more cautious, more effective. Aylesworth moving to either side - diagnoses that Grace is a little more awkward turning counterclockwise, than clockwise: Reiko generally stepping to her right as a result. Aylesworth staying low - jabbing Park in her body - then curving in off angles to snap off combinations. Reiko catching Grace blistering hooks, body and head: Aylesworth doing well when she has initiative. Both rounds to Reiko: she stabilizes her front, and has Park stunned at one point during this stretch.

R4: Another good Reiko round: curving in; chopping combos to the ribcage, then looking to tidy up on chin via pull-away hooks off right foot. Park hurt again, staggered by the robust body attack setting up chin-jolt: Aylesworth showing quickness, keen ring generalship in breaking down her lean opponent.

R5: Grace stabilizes - getting the jab out to help dictate position and range to Reiko. Park able to channel Aylesworth into churning exchanges: Grace leaning forward, licking savagely up and down Reiko's torso, clouting her head as Aylesworth tries to compete. Reiko caught a series of short, clouting lefts and rights on her face late: she stumbles to all fours, blinking in astonishment as Park proves irresistible.

R6,7: Grace the aggressor - stalking her prey around the ring, locating her with jabs, keeping Aylesworth on the defensive. Reiko grimacing, trying to circle for entry points, but she's definitely having issues with Grace's length and piercing delivery. Park retains initiative - forces and wins the brisk exchanges - walks her girl down for points through 7.

R8,9: Girls split the rounds as Grace takes the 8th, Reiko the 9th. Aylesworth competitive here - she's nimble, elusive out on the end of Park's poke: Reiko slipping in past Grace's jab, snatching at that lean ribcage, then darting away. Grace pressurizing Reiko - jabbing her into crouches, then going at her with vicious, jagged left uppercuts and bandy-armed wallop in close. Reiko busting up through 9: she's getting outgunned by rangy Grace.

R10: Grace salts it away - repulsing early Aylesworth attacks as Reiko turns puncher in desperation. After the first minute it's Grace backing Reiko up with jabs, stepping to her, then punishing her. Park's rangy, lashing delivery a marvel in close - small gloves biting and bouncing off Reiko in frightful bursts. Goes to the cards, comes back competitive UD10, Grace Park.

AFTER: Reiko takes 5 rounds from Grace, but can't handle Park's lanky power as Aylesworth visits canvas throughout the fight. Good fight for both: Park showing why she's the most ducked and least mentioned threat at bantam; Aylesworth proving she's at least a good journeywoman with above-average ring smarts in going the distance tonight.
