UNIFIED MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE

Before; Wilson widely regarded as the weakest champion in boxing--her pride is engaged--Torrie huffing and puffing in preflight, promising to turn back “can’t miss Kristanna” at the doorstep. Loken coming off a stunning defeat last time out, but able to swing a title shot on the strength of her impressive year thus far--she’s not shy about promising to deliver Torrie flat on her back to her Krusher overlords. Don’t bet the over--both girl motivated to go for the early stoppage tonight. Wilson in metallic royal blue bikini top, boy cut bottoms--Kris in S curve one piece, purple.

During R1: Wild swinging, sloppy action in the first as Loken misses looping right hands over the top, often over-swinging herself off balance--Wilson ducking and leaping out of the way, swinging back, but too far out to make contact. Settles down as Wilson tightens up, controls her panic-she starts to pick and poke straight rights or lefts out of a high guard, beating Loken to shots as challenger loads up and can’t get off on time./

R2:  Loken wading in, reaching with the left, heaving in the right, sweeping the left--Wilson ducking under the right, blocking the left and reaching in under the arms to clinch the big girl up. Torrie doing a nice job frustrating Loken, getting inside the big swinging, and by the midway point--champ’s getting stout work done to the body before holding for the break. Down the stretch, Wilson ducking under a big Loken right--champ crouches in the pocket, digs a right hand  up into Kristanna’s belly and LOKEN’S HURT! Kris folding up wounded--Torrie stepping back and SHELLACKING Loken left/right as big girl stumbles forward. Loken soaking up bombs, makes it to the bell all glassy-eyed--Wilson bellowing in triumph, right hand raised as she bounds back to her corner.

R3: Wilson takes it to Loken! Torrie up on her toes at points, bouncing, jabbing. Kris covers up high--Torrie loads up and spears right hands straight down into the body--really slamming home to gut as Loken shudders on impact. Torrie stepping back from Kristanna aggression, getting low, coming up underneath to clinch--its masterful stuff from a girl who hasn’t been given much credit for classy skills. Loken really looking amateurish as she’s coaxed into punching when she’s not ready, punching when her balance isn’t good--Torrie posting a shutout third.

R4: Jones wants Kris to settle down, use her jab, break Torrie down--Loken promptly charges out and looks to end Wilson with one big punch. It’s just not working--Wilson anticipating well, seeing well--she’s stepping away, luring Loken into potshots, stepping around the big girl and beating her to punches, Down the stretch, Loken clearly frustrated, indecisive on the outside--Torrie steps right and lands a gambling overhand right upside the head! Sucker opunch catches kris flush--she’s stepping in fence post holes--Torrie misses some whistle follow up punches at the bell that just might have ended this thing had they connected.

R5: Wilson sliding back from Loken, now very comfortable with the range, the timing of her opponent. Kristanna reaching with punches and getting nailed--Torrie almost clockwork with her right hands on Kris’ chin, then bulling into the challenge to tie her up. Punch n’ clutch worked to perfection by the champ--effect of her pulverizing right hands evidenced as Wilson’s able to repeatedly body up and walk her girl to ropes for breaks--women just don’t walk Kristanna around when she’s right.

R6: Loken just falling apart mentally--winging punches, lunging at her opponent--she’s making Torrie look like Sugar Ray Leonard tonight as the blonde evades big shots, circles, steps in with hard right hands and canny clinches. Midway through, big right hand on the chops bends Loken at the knees--Torrie edging and scooping her up, walking her to the ropes. Wilson fighting off Loken’s chest in the final minute, oppressing her into the ropes, punishing her body, then reaching in to body up and make her feel the weight, Kris’ face a battered wreck, strong legs holding her up, but ringsiders wondering how much more of this she can take.

R7: Wilson just doing it to Loken--landing right hands with good extension, bodying up, backing Loken up. Kris loading up and missing--Torrie either too far away, or all the way in, neatly crowding the big girl’s power. Kris’ left eye swollen ugly, mouth open, but she’s still got snap and she proves it late. Final minute--girls pawing lefts at each other--Torrie tries a right over the top, misses, pulls it back. Loken inching forward, pawing at Torrie’s mouth with the left, then slinging over the right hand--crashing, flat POP! On the jaw as Wilson times her move a split second late. Torrie with a little pony trot away to her right--she’s all hurt and shook up, helpless as Loken  stomps forward to close. Torrie extending her arms to block--Loken bashing past them with a sweeping right on the eye, driving Wilson rag doll to the ropes. Loken with another monster, cleaving overhand right as she steps to Wilson at the ropes--tomahawking the girl’s head to the side--Torrie frozen for a moment as she stilts, then crashes limp to the canvas. KO7 in stunning fashion for the winner and NEW middleweight champ--Kristanna Loken!

After: Bizarre fight. Wilson annihilated by a series of Loken right hands, but it’s one of Torrie’s career best efforts, actually legitimizing her title reign when most felt she’d lucked into the belts in the first place. Loken ALL busted up, hurt repeatedly--young blonde came in with no respect whatsoever for her opponent, simply expecting to blow Torrie away and promptly proceeding to lose almost every round of this one-sided fight before clubbing Torrie senseless. Kris hamming it up for the cameras, slinging belts over her shoulders and proclaiming a bright new future for the middleweight division, but she may have come to power on the strength of her WORST performance to date.
