Before: Neve regrouping after disappointment--and brutal--KO loss to Dani Fishel--Maria Bello no cupcake for a comeback, but there’s a method in Neve’s madness, “I want to get back on the horse against a real fighter,” explains Neve, “I want to know that I’m back and I’m OK: beating Bello lets me know that. Plus my agent tells me that Maria Bello tests pretty high with my various fan-polls as an attractive opponent for me--usually top 5--si it’s a good move in terms of my base.” Maria not one for modern statistical-sample matchmaking techniques, but she knows a good fight when she sees one. “I don’t doubt that people wasn’t to see us together--I’ve seen some of the marketing mock-ups and we look damn good if I do say so myself. And we’re good honest fighters--I’m not going to have to look for Neve and she doesn’t have to track me down: we’re going to be right there from the opening bell and I think fans appreciate that. I plan to give Neve hell--she’s been in some real wars this year and she looks tired to me. I think if I take it to her back here.” Neve in black bikini, short ponytail with bangs, black gloves. During R1: Yep--hammer and tongs midring--girls stepping into each other lusty. Bello chopping a pair of overhand rights, clouting Neve’s jaw, stunning her: busting hook onna chops straightens Neve up, sends her tottering back on her heels, eyes blinking, mouth open in astonishment. Bello stepping left foot forward, crouching as she pulls another right hand onto to Neve’s staring face over the top; Bello steps her right foot forward to sling a clubbing left off her hip clapping Neve across her mouth; Bello steps the left foot forward, hopping in to catch Neve an extra left hook as Campbell staggers hurt to ropes. Neve open-mouthed, drooping forward-- she soaks a withering right uppercut to her solar plexus--Bello exhaling hot in Neve’s face as she buries the punch home. Neve’s legs give way--she sits into the ropes for support, ducks another crunching Bello hook then ANSWERS A MONSTER HOOK OUT OF THE DROOP! Bello caught loading up her right--back legs gives way and MARIA CRUMPLES TO ALL FOURS! Neve reeling, wiping her mouth as she staggers, wandering into neutral corner--Bello ramshackle as she climbs the rope, staring glassily as the ref gives her 8. Neve wades in, taking over momentum--kegs shabby as she plants flat footed, burying her right fist in Maria’s tanned tummy to put blonde buttocks in ropes with a breathy sigh of pain. Neve groggily working Maria over--shrugging punches into the Bello jugs, dipping either shoulder to propel short-shoving shots into tender waist, then bodying up to make Bello take weight. Maria’s thighs trembling as she’s pushed and pounded, constantly dealing with the press if Neve upon her and unable to beat the brunette back strong after ruinous Bello  punching opened the heat!!

R2: Hurting vixens slouch to midring--eyes hooded, lips parted, feet shuffling, Neve right hand at her temple as she thrusts out the jab, touching Bello firmly on her guard as blond blocks, then edges in to clinch. Maria punching at Neve’s hips as the girls writhe in a loose mutual embrace; neve disengaging with a professional left shoulder bump, then hooking Maria sweetly beneath the elbow. Maria grunting, dipping forward slightly, dukes up--then jerks a tidy hook against Neve’s mouth, buckling Campbell’s knees. Neve edging close to get her shoulder in Maria’s chest, bump0ing her backwards again and hooking her waist another firm, biting clout. Wince of pain on Bello’s exquisite face: she hooks Neve’s mouth again, then both girls trade weary right hands on respective chins, falling in to clinch: Neve slowly working Maria methodically to ropes, strapping the blonde heavy right hands above her left hip and stroking her evil left hooks behind that right elbow. Bello stepping back, walking Neve into punches--blonde basically landing blow for blow but getting the worst of it as Campbell’s heavier hands begin to tell. Midway through--Bello’s back to ropes, legs spread in a wide A frame support: Neve beats Maria to swinging right hands, then beats her to the comeback hook to leave blonde swaying hurt on her hurt hips. Neve sees the hurt: digs a thick right hand to Maria’s tummy, biting up under the ribcage to dislodge Bello’s mouthpiece with a sad little gasp. Neve knuckles the blonde’s breasts, straightening her, then pops hips-left to sink her hook thick to tanned Bello waist, smudging her paunch aside. Neve nice and compact in there, weight on left foot, throwing her hips and shoulders through the punching motion for murderous leverage, keeping the elbows in tight. Left hook clouts Maris’s chin, swiveling her head: Bello’s neck is loose, knees looser. Neve leans in left shoulder/open right palm to stack Maria, then dips to hook that lover, hook that liver: Bello sobbing, droops forward to clinch., Neve won’t have it--pushing Maria to stack her--wriggling to disentangle her arms, bumping Maria off then hooking her lover another withering blast. BELLO’S CRIPPLED! Poor Maria paralyzed, legs locked--she stoops forward wheezing, unable to breathe and NEVE’S HOOKING MARIA’S BODY! Brutal, methodical, no-nonsense subjugation: Campbell setting her feet, popping her hips, twisting wickedly torso-right and drawing that withering left hand across Bello’s throbbing liver again and again and again. Neve shoving up and punching, shoving up and punching--exhaling through pursed lips as she’s 100% focused on subjugating Maria to the body and BELLO GOES DOWN! Maria in tears, trembling on all fours--she sits back ion her haunches hugging a pulsing ribcage and it’s OVER! KO2 in brutal fashion, Neve Campbell.

After: Neve leaving Maria to puddle quietly on the canvas: Campbell not giving Bello so much as a backward glance as brunette marches in to bigger and better. “I want Elisha in the undeclared of McAdams/Fishel,”  Neve says on camera, :and I think I can get that fight made. Then, I’m hoping winner-gets-winner for the belt. Either way--Rachel or Dani: I’d be very, very happy.” Lots of ifs for Campbell’s dreams to come true, but one things for certain: Maria’s hurtin’.
