Before: Neve a huge underdog for this one—Hu eager to dish out another quai loh beating and continue her march through the ranks. Neve’s greatest asset could be her composure—if she stays focused, she may be able to catch Hu showboating and get something done. Royal blue sports bra, white adidas terrycloth trunks for Neve—powder blue aerobics two piece Kelly, slick ponytail.

During R1: Kelly wasting no time, puts on a speed clinic and beats Neve to a pulp this round. Hu just too fast, jumping in with whippy right hands on the face, staying close, dipping down and lashing the left hook across the chops as Neve falters. By the midway point, Hu is in a comfort zone, slashing in from all points on the compass, leading with slicing right hands or slinging left hooks. Campbell on her heels gets clobbered from pillar to post—covering up as best she can and just overwhelmed as Hu showcases her talent. At the bell—Kelly can’t wipe the smile off her face—Neve dazed and battered, staggers back to her corner lucky to have heard the bell.

R2: Funny things happens on the way to the beat down—Neve doesn’t quit. Revived in her corner, Campbell comes out with her chin tucked, guard at her eyebrows, and walks Hu down, touching the Asian with a clipping left uppercut or hook around the guard, dipping down to chop the right hand to the ribs, Hu disdainful of the brunette stands in and gets outhustled, often straying to the ropes, blocking all head shots, but giving Campbell the body—Neve wins the round with honest effort and outs a little wear on the Asian’s midsection.

R3: Kelly a little more business like, giving Neve angles, still jumping in with that slicing lead right, but not anxious to stick around for the receipt. Hit and run hard for Campbell to cope with, but she’s gotten her house in order—high defense is picking up a lot of incoming as Hu ignores the body.

R4: Hu showing the jab for the first time, just touching Neve’s brow or tummy as the Asian dips and straightens. Suddenly, Hu hooks off the jab, catching Neve by surprise and wobbling her ion her heels, Kelly following through in the same motion, bends into the right hand to the face and knocks Neve’s head back with the flush connect. Campbell hurt, sprawling senseless on the ropes, eyes wide open, hands down, and Hu slashes in, Kelly working in a blur, hands slicing left and right, fists bouncing off the face and breasts as the Asian bends to either side to pull her punches.into the foe, and Campbell goes out. Ref jumps in to rescue the helpless brunette as Hu smiles, stands right behind the ref, raises her gloves while grinning at the ruined actress.. KO4 Kelly Hu.

After: Neve just outclasses I this one, but going out on her shield rather than running or quitting. Hu exaggerating even this fine performance. “I’m very angry with the officiating of this bout. Referees have to learn that when I start beating a girl, really putting it to someone like I was Neve—they HAVE to jump in immediately. We don’t want to get these girls killed. This is a Kelly Hu beating we’re talking about—you don’t want that to go on too long.”
