Before: (Hess a stunningly beautiful actress--plays blonde aviator ice on the atrocious “Pensacola Wings of Gold”). long time since Cox and Aniston co-headlined a card, Aniston actually a better fighter than she once was, but Cox a perennial pound-for-pound entrant has a lost a step and looks beatable for the first time in her career. Wiry blonde Hess has patterned her style after Cox and considers it an honor to be facing Courteney in the ring at last. Couple of lean, fast boxer/punchers--Cox fighting to show she’s not ready to step aside yet. Cox in black spaghetti strap sports bra, red aerobic briefs, black shoes and gloves, Hess in banana yellow bikini, black shoes and gloves.

During 1,2: Girls trade rounds. Hess taking the first, Cox the second in brisk opening action. Mirror image fighters, both girls fight more or less straighten up, stepping nimbly around the opponent, then darting in behind stiff jabs to bang sharp combinations to chiseled abs and beautiful faces.

R3: Hess showing her speed edge, getting the upper hand on Court and steering her with the jab. Hess able to back off and poke at Cox--court swatting the incoming can’t get of against Sandra this round--shutout Hess.

R4: Hess hooking off the jab, stuns Cox early with a clapping left on the ear, and moments mater has Court wobbly butt from a sharp hook, snapped off to connect with elbow as well as the fight gets nasty. Working toe to toe, Hess bounces hard lefts and rights off sinewy Cox, but Court won’t give in and gradually beats the blonde back with tit for tat slugging. Final minute is all Cox as crowd roars--as she bangs Hess’ head back with a swatting double hook on the teeth--Hess wide-eyed and stunned at the bell as Cox brawls back for a draw.

R5,6: Hess establishing the quicker feet, the more accurate jab as she circles and begins to chip away at court. Cox lumping up on the right side of her face as she reacts too slowly to the blonde’s sudden punching. Sandra finishing both these rounds with furious flurries, forcing Cox into staggering retreat and getting good head movement on Courteney from stinging lefts/rights at the bell.

R7: Hess in control, out jabbing Cox midring, patiently working her girl to the ropes, then slicing in, and out with ripping 2-fisted combinations to the head and body. Cox starting to breathe through her mouth is getting beaten up and she knows it, Shutout Hess.

R8: Another shutout for Hess as she is methodical, using the jab to break the brunette down, then finishing up on the ropes as Cox bends at the waist, arms in to take. Sandra putting punches together has Courteney outclassed at this point and is laying on the punishment with heartless determination.

R9: Hess opening with hooks, has Cox leaning back, hands down, and a left hand swivels Cox’s head, dropping her to her backside for an 8 count to start the round. Hess mounting fencer’s rushes the rest of the round--Cox bleeding from the lower lip, looking dazed, beaten as she steps back, trying to fade with Sandra to no avail. Sandra posting another shutout, flashes a confident smile to the crowd as she leaves  Cox humming on the ropes.

R10: Cox desperate, needs a knockout, and veteran knows how to go about getting it. Left hand low, body turned to screen the right, Cox turns into right hand leads as Hess jabs and the blonde goes wobbly butt as the brunette smacks her mouthpiece out early in the round. Hess hurt, trying to comport herself, but Cox mounts a furious rally, battering Sandra along the ropes with spanking double left hand and chopping right on the cheek. Hess soaking up tremendous punishment weathers the storm, and the final minute sees the girsl brawling shoulder to shoulder, but losing zip on their punches as Cox’s fury fades. Bell sounds as exhausted sluggers stand and cast drained looks around the ring. Cox hangs her head as Hess is awarded a wide decision.

After: passing of the torch as the angular Swiss Miss give Cox a dose of her own medicine, but it’s not all bad news for the “Friends” star. Cox with signs of life, especially late shows she still has the fire to compete--fitness and pop still there after all these years. Hess hitting her stride, another WB house product struts her stuff in outting down the Old Guard.
