Up next on the Doll Ball card is ANOTHER match-up with title belt implications, as Emma Roberts looks forward to getting yet another shot at the Flyweight goalpost by getting past one hell of a goalkeeper in Michelle Williams. Williams, of course, would bristle at the very label of that, and no longer of an elite forward striker who’s actually scoring the winning goal, but alas, it’s undeniable that these two fighters are years apart and in different positions of their careers.

“I used to have a lot of respect for Michelle. A LOT,” Emma says first with a nod. “It all EVAPORATED the moment I watched her losing to Hudgens last year then crying and begging like a baby, obeying whatever the hell that monster told her to say and do. What the HELL was that? I have no respect to anyone who grovels at that sl*t's feet like that. Shame on you Michelle. SHAME ON YOU! I also can't imagine losing to someone like that. So, prepare to get slaughtered tonight, Williams. You're old, dead meat."

The direct insults are getting churned out hard and fast, and Williams, perhaps extra sensitive about her age, and more importantly, her legacy within the FCBA, visibly bristles at the use of the word ‘old’. However, the Consortium starlet quickly rebounds and composes herself, shifting slightly in her chair before responding:

“Well, that’s a pity, because I STILL have plenty of respect for Roberts, despite her many, multiple, high-profile losses. Correct me if I’m wrong, Emma dear, but there seemed to be more than a couple of occasions of you blubbering into the feet and tummies of some other girls,” Williams says with a smug smile.

“Roberts is a fighter, that’s for sure. But she has trouble putting her fists up and digging in where it counts. That’s the main reason why she has yet to win the Flyweight straps, whilst I’m considered one of the all-time-bests in the business. You just need to look at the difference in our records.”

Tense staredown at the podium as both blondes walk up to inches of each other and lock eyes. They may be almost ten years apart in age, but they still look fighting fit in nothing but their underwear and skivvies. No such bad blood that’s threatening to boil over unlike some of the other fights scheduled on tonight’s card, and the two ladies separate without further incident.

Roberts looks all geared up and ready to rock as she leaps onto the stage later on in the arena, her usual white-pink sports bra and fighting tights wrapped around a lean figure. Ain’t no smirk or grin on the Doll’s petite face as she walks down the ramp with an all-serious look instead, that pivotal win over Lavigne at the start of the year doing little to aid her title ambitions after subsequent losses to Jessica Lowndes and Olivia Holt.

Williams, on the other hand, has very little left to prove in the FCBA world - she’s a multi-time champion and proud member of the FCBA Hall-of-Fame, and in her own words, now spending her twilight years ‘mentoring’ new and up-and-coming girls by knocking them out cold. She strides down the entryway in a black bra top and white boxing trunks, later strapping on a pair of red gloves for this contest.

Here we go, here we go! Referee calls the match to order, signaling to both corners to get the nod. This here’s ten rounds of Flyweight action! THERE’S THE BELL!

ROUND 1:
Emma is moving forward with absolute confidence - maybe it’s the fact she’s been on a roll recently, or maybe it’s because she thinks she’s younger, fitter and simply better. She starts off aggressive, sweeping in and slamming early shots into Michelle’s arms, then reaching under to whack away at that pale tummy. Williams is all calm and cool until the body shots start piling up, grunting in retreat once an underhanded low blow lands on her abs, with Emma circumventing her guard almost too easily. Roberts’ smirk is back - it’s clear she wants to make a show of dominance here - chasing after the other blonde and repeating shots up high to score down low. Michelle, however, is quick to catch up, reversing course mid-way to suddenly surprise Roberts with a counter-swing to the head - the Doll lets out a yelp as she almost takes the punch clean to her face but manages to swerve out of the way just in time. Still, Williams ain’t messing around, even this early on, taking more warning shots at Roberts’ arms and making her stave off her attack for the rest of the round. Ladies exchange fire even in the closing seconds here, with Michelle showing off her experience and poise as she lands more than a few quicks jab to Emma’s face. End result is a lopsided round indeed - a see-saw affair that sees Roberts win herself early points, but not by much.

ROUND 2:
Roberts is still steaming in like she owns the ring, but is finding MUCH more resistance this time round when Michelle powers a hook or cross back almost immediately, the sudden, forceful swings doing much more to shock and awe the Doll than any permanent damage. But it’s damage enough, with Roberts clearly wincing as another right hand catches her clean to the middle of the arms, before a follow-up hook slams into the side of her head to send her reeling to the side. Williams shows off her own fighting spirit, and is not about to just lie down and die, pressuring Emma backwards and across the ring. Roberts is opting for defense all of a sudden - quite a switch from her earlier strategy - but she has little choice but to weather this second round of abuse as Williams keeps rebounding to make her hurt for gained ground, with the HISC starlet returning with a wide round by the bell.

ROUND 3:
More bursts of attacks from Roberts in the third, who tries to rush the short-haired, curly blonde early and pepper her with jab combos, and for awhile, the strategy works, with Williams too bothered and focused on intercepting the attacks that she doesn’t see the big swing coming at the end till it’s too late: Emma blasting hooks clean into her arms, one or two thumping into her body hard at the end of her flurries, resulting in Williams getting pushed around the center with multiple grunts uttered from her lips. Michelle finally stands her ground in the final minute, growling low as the two women exchange fire in close quarters, both sticking leather gloves into the chin and lips, but neither willing to back down till the bell finally rings, and the referee has to jump in to separate. Still, it ain’t enough for Williams to salvage this round for her corner, with Emma holding a hand clear and high on her way back.

ROUND 4:
See-saw of a match continues as Williams opts for more frequent and effective counter-punching, checking Emma’s bigger blows now that she’s gotten a good taster of what to expect from her opponent. Poor Emma’s getting schooled in how to anticipate your foe’s attacks, her hooks and crosses either avoided with a swerve of the head or a clean parry to the side, before Williams punishes the younger girl with a fist shoved into the side of her face here, another swung into the tummy there. Third minute and Emma finally relents, staying back and breathing hard, holding her arms up and anticipating a wild counterattack that doesn’t come. Williams looks satisfied for now in keeping her advantage, and the two girls circle and poke at each other’s heads to end this round. Scoreboards show an even performance thus far!

ROUND 5:
Emma is moving slightly more cautiously after failing to achieve her dominant results from last time. She circles inwards, hungry and focused, arms up and only taking her shots when she smells an opening. One or two crisp jabs land clean on Michelle’s face, making the older veteran grunt but not pushed back completely. Williams has taken much more abuse in her illustrious career, suddenly ignoring the throbbing pain in her face as she ROARS inwards with a hook of her own! POW!! OUCH!! Emma gets STUNNED as it lands clean on her face! Her eyes go wide with shock, mouth hanging open as her entire body gets sent off a couple of paces! HERE COMES WILLIAMS, looking for the kill! More deliberate pounding on the Doll’s tummy and chest, before Williams SLAMS a well-timed uppercut into the base of her chin, and DOWN ROBERTS GOES!! It’s a beauty of a KO from Michelle Williams!!

Loud cheers from the Consortium corner, along with their many fans in the arena, as Michelle goes sauntering back to her corner with her arms raised high! The legendary blonde’s still got it, it seems! She smiles proudly, resting her back against the neutral corner turnbuckle, watching with delight as Roberts stirs from her side. Referee has already started the count, watching as Roberts shivers and slowly makes her way back up from her chest. The Doll is shaking all over the place but her face is filled with abject determination, gritting her teeth with her eyes closed before forcing her way to her feet by the count of 8! It ain’t over till the fat lady sings! Williams is marching ahead in terms of points for now, but this fight is still young!

ROUND 6:
Emma fends off the Hall-of-Famer’s assault in the sixth, Michelle wading in fast to try and mop things up but finding her punches landing off Emma’s arms more often than not. Even with her slight reach advantage, Michelle’s having trouble piercing Roberts’ defences, steadily pounding on her guard but finding her bigger shots taken on the gloves or missing entirely, with Roberts weaving or keeping her distance to avoid yet another wild hook sent towards her face high. Roberts has recovered fast since her brutal knockdown in the fifth, slowly regaining her footing and then sending one-two combos back into Michelle’s face to emphasise that she’s still in this fight, letting the Consortium girl make the bulk of the mistakes before planting leather back into her frame with a grunt. Bell rings and the Doll has edged out a win in the immediate aftermath of her own disastrous performance prior, panting hard at the bell but satisfied that she’s stayed standing for now.

ROUND 7:
Williams ain’t giving up the chase, however, coming in in a straight line and planting a right cross into Robert’s arms to open the final quarter of this fight. Emma is content with taking the abuse in the first minute, still finding her bearings but also leading Michelle inwards, before rocking the short-haired blonde back with a sudden spinning overhand that catches her off the top of her head, and another barrage barreling inwards to score off her pretty face. Michelle left in shock, partially thinking about giving up the chase completely, but what she doesn’t expect is Emma to come ROARING in after her, the Doll having recovered fast enough to suddenly initiate her own counterattack in the thick of the action! Williams’ in trouble! She eats another hook off the chin, which sends her spiraling off to the side, reforming her guard just fast enough to take another stiff blow to the side of the head, which doesn’t help her balance one bit! Emma growling, marching in with her arms pulled back and ready to let them RIPPP inwards at the smallest hint or a target, and Williams is left trying to hide her face behind both her arms as she’s forced into a retreat backwards! Roberts staying atop her, however, ploughing gloves low into the tummy before going up high to BLAST the taller blonde across the arms, thrashing her upper torso left and right, till a final step in SHOT TO THE CHIN SEEMS TO DO IT!! Williams’ head gets snapped back, the force of impact sending her stumbling backwards a couple of steps before the bigger girl FALLS ONTO HER BUTT! COULD THIS BE IT?! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN for Emma Roberts!

Michelle looks beaten and bothered as she sits there on her haunches for the first few couple of seconds, slack-jawed and teary-eyed, before tilting over onto her side, loose arms and legs not doing anything to help keep her upright, as the Consortium girl gets completely KO’ed with her cheek pressed into the cold canvas, lips parted and drooling all over the floorboards! Referee takes a long, hard look to make sure she’s out like a light, before WAVING his arms rapidly overhead! It’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Emma Roberts defeats Michelle Williams via KO7!

AFTER:
HUGE decisive win from Roberts, the ‘Ice Queen’ proving Williams and her naysayers wrong by winning big tonight over the hall of famer.

Roberts all business in post-fight, sweaty and panting from that last burst of energy that ended he fight but looks like she could have easily gone for 3 more rounds, shaking her head in contempt at her knocked out opponent, not even cracking a smile as she raises her right arm and poses to the crowd for a short few seconds to cement her win before exiting the ring shortly after, not even another glance at Williams’ direction after knocking the older blonde’s lights out mere minutes ago in cold blood.

Michelle is being treated by her teams in the center of the ring, the blonde still flat on her side, but luckily, already responding to her medical team.

Who cares? Says Roberts as she hastily marches towards the backstage, followed behind by her team, as if the blonde has more work to do elsewhere. Perhaps she has something planned for our upcoming Main Event of the night where two of her biggest rival go head to head? We sure hope not! But stay with us for the main event to find out!
