Before: Alba roughed up in consecutive bids against Doherty, regroups against a tough, but tailor made blonde in Mish Williams. Williams with the trademark smash mouth style could get her ears boxed if Alba fights smart, but she’s coming in bursting with confidence and really looking forward to establishing herself a number one contender type for the New Year. Alba in royal blue aerobics two piece, Mish in red and white vertical stripe aerobics two piece.

During R1: Williams storming across the ring, sets up on Alba, punishing the brunette for all 3 minutes of a bruising first. Jessica unable to get her back off the ropes, slides along the perimeter as Williams bodies up, constantly pulling at the brunette’s protective arms, pushing on her with the elbow, and hacking away with cudgeling work to the head and body. Midway through, Williams leaning in to push with her elbow, then chopping down with a short right hand lick on the ear and ALBA IS HURT! Final minute sees a happy Mish beat a sagging Jessica raw about the ribcage with both hands digging—shutout Mish Williams.

R2: Little better execution from Jessica as she shakes off the punishment well, gets her legs moving, starts circling and throwing straight combinations from outside. Williams occasionally able to bob and weave her way in close enough to bounce curling left/rights off that toned midriff, but Jessica turning her girl, fending her off dictates the action this round.

R3: Jessica now firmly in command, has Williams crouching forward into cracking jabs, straight right hands, and popping hooks as Alba puts’em together, then pivots to her left to keep Mish turning. Midway through, Alba puts wobble in Williams trunks as the blonde walks into a flush right hand on the teeth—Alba’s eyes lighting up as she sees the hurt register, but she stays composed, drilling Mish down to the bell with slick combinations, working off her jab to the bell.

R4: Great discipline from Alba who steps up the punishment, rocking Williams early with a stunning right hand on the eye—Mish staggered, momentarily helpless—Jessica bashing a left hook/right cross on the eye again to bust Williams open. Mish fighting desperate, once again lunges and finds ribcage with brief swatting interludes—but Alba’s legs are winning this fight—brunette able to wheel and deal effectively—Williams staggery at the bell as Jessica is really dialing it in.

R5: Uh oh—Jessica Alba’s uptempoing, starting to shred the too-brave blonde with crisp, harmful punches in bunches, Alba’s staring intently as she doles out the beating, letting her hands go against Williams face, dancing away to reset the angle, then laying in the licks as Mish wanders into the abuse. Midway through, speedbagging lefts and rights across the face have Williams leaning out over her feet—Alba stepping in with a shoulder to the chest NAILS Mish Williams stumbling backwards a slicing right hand and DOWN GOES MISH! Williams on her butt—eyes unfocused—face battered and discouraged. Mish beats the count, but Alba has another 60 seconds of fun—circling, working her jab, then bending into shattering right hands on that horrific eye—oh the humanity!

R6: Jessica romping now—a badly battered Mish Williams stumbling off her stool, gloves at her lips—body automatically trying to bob inside, but she’s tragically hurt and easy pickings for the accurate two fisted brunette. Alba helping herself—the eye, the face, the belly—she punches and turns as Michelle wades in and takes like a mule, Final minute, Alba alternately hooking Mish now, then chopping right hands on that eye, backs the broken blonde to the ropes and pours it on with both hands. Lefts and rights slashing into the face—Mish totally defenceless, head snapping to and fro as her guard droops—she sags sideways into the corner as the ref jumps in—TKO6 Jessica Alba.

After: Alba with a victory lap around the ring with her gloves in the air as Mish is helped to her stool for a quick examination, Jessica with dreadful precision and power, started to hurt Williams in the third and never looked back, battering Mish unrecognizable in round after round of one-sided abuse, bouncing her off the canvas then finishing her off with a savage display of quick fisted mayhem. Mish too dazed to be aware of the disaster in the ring, but in the days to follow will kick herself for letting a fine first round go to waste. Alba answering critics with a tremendous performance—she’s still a force at 110.
