R6: Hayden responds with will - forcing her way through the punching to get at Virginie by any means possible. Expensive: Ledoyen very relaxed and accurate tonight - scrubbing away one-twos, then loping back, walking Hayden onto the right uppercut, then hooking her mouth rangy. Panettiere usually down 5 or 6 connects before she can collapse distance - then she beats away on Ledoyen's torso that tic-toc right/left to waist and clubbing, adventurous shots upside the head. Ledoyen snarling, standing ground when Hayden penetrates - French girl covering up and absorbing, then leaning her head and gloves into Hayden to push her back. Once outside - Panny has to renegotiate all over again, taking punches to get inside. Stubborn Virginie execution taxes blonde for more points as Hayden can't match the connect rate.

R7: Same again: hard, hard fighting. Ledoyen strong on her feet - wide stance - getting off first with scrubbage outside, fading to lure Panny forward onto right uppercuts and left hooks as Hayden pushes in. Panettiere scrapping back - beating at Ledoyen's waist and ribs, trying for the chin: Virginie resolute under muscular blonde attacks - leaning into them, shoving Panettiere back outside and forcing Hayden to win her way through all over again. Just enough lateral movement from Ledoyen - Virginie keeping back clear of ropes, being very strong with Hayden, steadily outhitting the youngster in trade.

R8: Shutout Virginie Ledoyen. Virginie baring her teeth as she puts it to Hayden: vicious, face-seeking combinations lighting Panettiere up, stunning her. Ledoyen pounding the one-twos, then hooking Hayden's puffy face, often catching it a DOUBLE hook to put Panny on her heels. Virginie eyes narrowed, SO competitive here - she's snarling as she leans into right hands, bouncing back Hayden's face. Panettiere's backside wobbling - she's just getting PASTED here - hands about chest high - sad little torso-rolls that aren't confusing Virginie at all. By the end - Ledoyen is twisting lithe into left and rights, extending beautifully on shots and belting away on Hayden's head and shoulders. Concussive French punching has Panny busted up, staring, and wobbly butt at bell.

R9: Rangy one-twos catching Hayden, bouncing her head about: RIGHT UPPERCUT, VIRGINIE! Ledoyen biting down on the shot from her right foot, arching her back to pick up Hayden ferocious. Panny well-struck, blinking and hurt, hands out front like a blind man pawing for the nearest obstacle: Virginie quick to twist torso-right and lash a hook across Panny's face. Hayden tottering back on her heels: Virginie in with lanky left/rights, sweeping Hayden to ropes. Panettiere stiffens at apron, proving her durability: wild melee sees her clang away to chin and breasts on Ledoyen as French girl indulges in reckless side to side slugging. Virginie not liking the resistance - steps out to work her jab - calms the round down by gently bringing Hayden to heel once again. By the bell, Ledoyen's scrubbing Panettiere's face, and sidestepping her in orderly fashion once again.

R10: Hayden resolute off her stool, but look at her face! Eyes swollen to slits, lips puffy - she's been handled roughly by Virginie tonight. Ledoyen grim about her business - jabbing to locate, triggering the right hand that misses over top ducking Hayden: Panny up out of the crouch with a blunt little hook, scoring to temple. Ledoyen shifts weight, lifts the left uppercut through, then slings in a limber right: Hayden dipping and bending, answering back a blunt right that takes Virginie inside her right shoulder. Hammer and tongs - girls looking a little spent, but punching with vigour - crowd on it's feet as these two slosh away. Ledoyen steadily backing up, but scoring well in reverse: that's been the difference in the fight as Virginie has indeed been the classier. Apron - Ledoyen in wide A stance, pulling limber left and rights onto the bobbing/slugging Hayden. Girls trade slamming rights - Hayden ducking down and to her left on follow through as Ledoyen's leaning back into ropes. Both girls come back hooks but IT'S ALL HAYDEN! HUGE whacking blast swivels Virginie's head as she's turning into her own hook - French left hand sailing over top as Ledoyen slumps into ropes. VIRGINIE'S OUT! Ledoyen limp, eyelashes fluttering - torso tilting to her left - Hayden misses an insurance right and brushes the extra left across Ledoyen's face as VIRGINIE GOES DOWN! Sliding descent - Ledoyen on her left side, rolling to her back, hands up above her head as she lies parallel to ropes, pretty little "I'm hurt" frown etched on her face. KO10 in dramatic fashion - Hayden Panettiere.

After: Tragic misunderstanding in the aftermath as a concerned Hayden comes to check on Virginie while Ledoyen's getting salts on her stool. Jessica Biel - always protective of the littlest TU scrapper - grabs Hayden by her shoulders and throws her away, sending blonde scooting on her backside in shock. Winstead charges in reckless, catching a right hand in her stomach as Jess kneels low and drives in. Biel grabbing doubled-up Winnie around the head front-choke style - blonde heaves brunette into ropes and looks to follow up with punches when Ledoyen herself intercedes, bodying Jessica back and calming her down. Crisis averted as Ledoyen apologizes to Hayden for Jessica's hair-trigger: hey, Biel's fast-twitch has made her what she is, right? Ledoyen on camera, exchanging compliments and chatting with Hayden, utters the unfortunate phrase: "You're stronger than Sarah, and much tougher: do not take merde from that blonde."
