Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE:
Emma Roberts caught smirking to herself as she’s interviewed backstage before her big fight tonight. The Doll of course has plenty of reason to look so smug, coming off a major win against Lily Collins - a girl who gave her plenty of trouble in the early days of her career.

Tonight, Roberts faces off against another so-called ‘contender’ in the Flyweight circles, but really, her main reason for wanting this fight is personal: Emma Watson having scored one of her earlier victories over Roberts as well, and just like Collins, this Doll wants to set the record straight once and for all.

"I'm gonna keep it short. Twatson is the most overrated, untalented sl*t in this league and I'm here to wreck her. I dominated her in that ring a year ago and she got lucky. Anybody can get knocked out by a lucky punch. Literally, anybody. You'll need to pray for that same luck to save you tonight, Twatson, or I'm going to destroy you, just like I did your friend Collins, who is somehow fighting for the title tonight?!” Roberts scoffs, almost spitting into the audience at the absurdity of the notion. “What a joke. Michelle will completely dominate that wimp. But I digress… there is only *one* Emma in this league who is championship material. Only ONE Emma that matters, and I'm going to make it very clear who that Emma is tonight. I pity you, Twatson."

“Funny how I was taught that any argument has to be backed up with evidence,” Emma Watson replying after a thoughtful glance across the table at her counterpart. “And the only evidence we have, dear Roberts, is that I beat you in the ring almost a year ago. And just because you beat Lily, doesn’t mean that history won’t repeat itself. If you want to try your hand again with me, I won’t stop you.”

Girls facing off at the podium and the air is like electricity, with Roberts scowling and Watson meeting her glare head-on with a sly smirk of her own. It’s a rematch of epic proportions, and one that didn’t go too well for her teammate, Collins. Can history repeat itself here? Will Roberts claw her way into the title picture any time soon?

We’ll find out soon enough. Blaze of fireworks announces Emma Roberts’ entrance into the arena, silver sparkles shooting into the air behind her as she struts onto the stage and brandishes her Dollhouse outfit of white and pink sports bra and tights, only this time complemented by an extravagant white fur coat around her shoulders. Roberts’ hair is tied in a neat ponytail as she makes her way towards the ring, a focused look on her face, allowing herself to a cocky smirk when she enters the ring and blows a kiss to the fans.

Emma Watson’s entrance is calm, determined and focused, as the Brit strides out from behind the curtains exuding those same qualities as well, with Head Trainer Corey Saucier grinning at his ward behind her back. Emma removing her cloak once in the ring to reveal her fightware for today: muted yellow sports bra and grey boxing tights, a pair of black gloves on her hands getting strapped and tightened.

Referee calls for a start to this rematch and HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Roberts’ aggression against Collins seems to have worked out for her previously, and here we have the same notes being utilised against Watson as the Doll comes forward, and bangs away early. Roberts’ style keenly works for her when she’s at full energy, which is right now at the very start of the match. She finally gets Watson straight in her sights and charges full steam ahead, hounding the head with a constant stream of jabs. Watson however anticipated this, backing away and defending herself well, her guard taking a whack whack whap early on but thankfully her face being well-protected. Roberts needs to calibrate this fight differently, if you ask us - fighting Collins is NOT the same as fighting Watson, as evident from her strikes barely scoring any points here, and instead allowing Watson to time her own shots right back into the Doll’s lips and nose, right before the bell sounds. Roberts is gonna take this first round overall, but I’m not sure she should be celebrating any time soon.

ROUND 2:
Here comes the newest Vixen, circling Roberts and stunning her repeatedly to the face in the early seconds. Roberts still spending time catching her breath and now becomes stunned from the prospect of discovery: this other Emma can also come in hard and fast. Roberts fending off blows to the head, but her body taking hits to the side, grunting from lips each time Watson manages to get a jab through her defences. She’s positively scowling with malice by the time the round draws to a close, having seen little success at catching Watson but ending up on the receiving end of abuse instead. It’s clear that one girl is playing the long-term game, whilst the other is only interested in short-term results. Emma Watson seen smiling to herself at the sound of the bell, having done more than enough to take this round for herself.

ROUND 3:
“COME ON AND BRAWL, TWATSON!” Roberts dissing her rival with those rage-filled lungs at the opening bell of the third. We must empathise with her frustration: Emma Robert building herself up to an all-out, no holds barred throwdown with her hated rival, only to have this irritating Brit keep herself out of reach and worse, landing punches on her instead of the other way round. Emma Watson however keeps on smirking and sticking to her game plan, side-stepping another wild lunge by Roberts before planting a left-right into the cheek from the side. Ouch and ouch! Things looking south for the Doll as we wind down the third as well: Emma Watson sliding in hard and fast again, scoring another one-two thump thump to the body in the closing seconds, leaving Roberts stumbling off to one side but thankfully using the ropes to support her when the bell rings.

ROUND 4:
We actually didn’t mention this before but Roberts is fighting today with a serious height disadvantage: four inches shorter than her counterpart, with the American already having some catching up to do in terms of points scored. No reminder needed for Roberts, however, as she begins the fourth using some of her corner’s advice, for once, staying at a distance instead of trying to force-feed Watson and overwhelm her. Watson seeing this as sign of hurt, however, still grinning as she circles inwards and tests Roberts’ guard with more jabs. Remember that height disadvantage we mentioned? It also has the unintended benefit of allowing the shorter girl to pick and choose her targets well. Roberts biding her time before suddenly springing into action in the final minute, ducking under a hook before plugging the Brit in the belly with a left-right combo. Watson never looked so shocked and hurt till this point, especially when she’s blown backwards from a snap uppercut that Roberts swings upwards like a golf club, almost taking her head off with that one-decider. Watson goes barreling backwards into the ropes, eyes squeezed shut and in a daze. Roberts stalking after her and continuing to shoot punches towards the head, but the bell rings before anything significant else can be mentioned. Roberts finally tasting some well-deserved victory this round - if she keeps this up, she’ll be on par with her opponent sooner rather than later.

ROUND 5:
Girls do a hard reset and spend the first minute catching their breaths and circling to the left and right. Or should we say, one girl is saving her breath as compared to the other, with Roberts continuing to get into Watson’s head with her constant taunts and disses from afar. “You’re a nobody, Twatson. After the Harry Potter movies all your other sh*t has SUCKED. How can you possibly live with yourself?” So on and so forth. Roberts taking things way too personally, we feel, but if it’s going to help channel her fighting prowess, who are we to argue? Unfortunately, this round, ‘Twatson’ prevails, especially when she ignores the white noise coming out of Roberts’ mouth and literally shuts the Doll up mid-sentence with a lunging right hand to the mouth, then continuing to poke at the face with her superior reach. Roberts sent squealing and backtracking across the ring, with the last minute seeing a rapid exchange of punches going both ways, with both ladies scoring mutual stiff shots to the face and body. That’s what we paid to see, ladies and gents! And while mutual punishment went both ways here this round, Watson still taking it overall with a small lead. Perhaps Emma Roberts needs to take the old adage of ‘put up AND shut up’ a little more seriously, eh?

ROUND 6:
Some much needed success for Roberts in the sixth when she finally starts taking things a little more seriously. Girls circle each other as usual for the first minute, but Roberts now a whole lot quieter, save for the roaring cheers of the fans from all directions. Emma Watson looking uncertain as a result as she tries to initiate some punches, only to have them all taken on Roberts’ guard. Roberts still barely punching back or shooting verbal insults, biding her time and slowing moving forward to pressure the Brit. And soon enough, the strategy pays off, when Watson leaves herself open for a brief second after her hook’s parried harmlessly off to the side. SMACK of a right hand straight into the face leaves Watson completely dazed, and then another left and another right from Roberts in consecutive fashion cause her to stumble backwards looking hurt! Here’s Roberts’ chance to strike, and NOW she chooses to jump right in, rocking the upper torso with strapping hooks in either direction. Watson on the ropes, literally, turtling up with her arms and taking the damage. Her torso gets beaten on by strapping swipes by Roberts, whose height disadvantage again comes in handy at having the Brit’s tummy as free-for-all target practice. Referee has to jump in and pull Roberts off her when the bell rings too early on her parade. Another minute and this fight could have ended itself right here and now. But in any case, Watson left gasping and rasping on the ropes, one hand clutching at her side as she makes her way back to the corner.

ROUND 7:
Suddenly, this fight is showing signs of equality and evenness, with Roberts rapidly re-gaining ground lost earlier on. First minute and we’re as surprised as anyone to see a surge forward from both women - usually at this point in the fight most girls would’ve caved from the exhaustion. Not these Emmas though, as they clash in a tangle of limbs and bodies right in the center ring. Not sure whether Watson is thinking straight either after the abuse she received in the previous round, now entering the lion’s den proper, with Roberts feeling right at home in close quarters swinging. The Brit getting rattled on her arms as a result, Roberts taking her biggest shots of this fight at putting her opponent’s lights out with strapping hooks knocking into Watson’s arms with force. But Watson still has some tricks up her sleeve, snapping short but effective uppercuts that ROCK the American’s head backwards repeatedly. Third such WHACK into the chin and Roberts is now the one seeing stars, stumbling backwards and not knowing what exactly hit her. She’s looking hazy, arms hovering dangerously in front of her face. HERE COMES WATSON, jumping in with more rapid strikes to the nostrils, further slamming her head backwards. Roberts hits the ropes and takes a couple of shots of her own medicine: Watson plugging lefts and rights into her body from afar before the referee is forced to separate these two women from outrightly killing each other. What started as a promising round for the Doll has quickly turned downhill fast...

ROUND 8:
Round 8 and it’s only here that the two girls take a breather in the opening seconds of the close. Watson staying behind the front line and hiding her face behind her arms. She’s clearly playing to her strengths on the advice of her own corner, who know that Roberts needs to catch up in terms of points in order to win this fight within the next three rounds. Ultimately, it all comes down to numbers, folks. Roberts taking some deep breaths before surging forward, looking for those missing points that she believes rightfully belong to her. To her credit, she really really wants this win badly, but one has to question her strategy right from the beginning at trying to get the win from Watson, who’s so much of a different fighter compared to Lily Collins. Roberts sending jabs into her arms before setting up more powerful hooks to the body. Watson taking them with low grunts, before a stumble backwards has her opponent thinking it’s time to strike. Roberts’ eyes widening as she LEAPS in with a superwoman punch aimed at Emma’s temple… BUT IT MISSES widely as the Brit side-steps with ease, sending her foe crashing into the ropes instead. Emma Watson simply playing possum back there, and only pretending to be hurt! Roberts has a wide-eyed look once again, but this time filled with shock and pain when her head’s twisted to the side from a powerful hook that lands flush on the cheek! UGHH!! Her body twisting multiple times along the ropes from the impact, before Watson is right ON her case again: ANOTHER hook crashes into the side of her face!!! Wow!!! Watson smells blood here folks! Here’s ANOTHER! Roberts is getting battered here! ANOTHER hook to the face from Watson and this time the Ice Queen’s body seems to quit on the spot as Roberts spins on her heels before CRASHING down onto her side by the ropes, one arm draped lifelessly over her face with her other arm trapped under her unmoving body! She seems to be out cold!!!

Referee doing his due diligence by still counting her out, but it’s absolutely no use - Roberts not even moving a muscle as she lies there, face down in a puddle of drool, fully knocked out and oblivious to the count! She’s done!!

Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Emma Roberts via KO8!

AFTER:
If there was any doubt that lingered after Watson scored that ‘lucky punch’ the first time around, this win finally puts their contest to rest. Emma Watson raising her hand high in the air once the decision is made official, her eyes looking downwards as though both relieved and exhausted that she has prevailed in the end. Roberts certainly giving her a longer run for her money, taking it to eight rounds - one more compared to the previous fight - but still coming out short this second time around.

“I hope this settles the question of who’s the better Emma,” Watson saying to reporters later on. “I never liked to compare titles in the first place. It just goes to show that some girls will always be insecure about their status, and girls like Roberts worry too much these things that they get knocked out and floored in the end.”

Roberts getting revived in the ring earlier, looking crestfallen when she finally realizes what has happened. Thankfully though Watson completely ignored her in the immediate aftermath of the post-fight, unlike that other rival that was Lily Collins, who would have gladly enacted punishment on Roberts should their fortunes ever be reversed. Emma Watson preferring to let the result speak for itself, instead, climbing out of the ring and smiling at her fans chanting her name all the way back up the ramp.

Will there be a third future match between these two rivals - certainly the best Emmas the FCBA has ever seen ? We’d bet Roberts sure hopes so! Or….does she….?
