REEBOK LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE

Fight rewrites all box office records - never a bad bout between these two, and this one jam-packed with tense undercurrents. First time dismissed as luck, but second time was a crowd pleasing slugfest that went right to the wire with a heavily motivated Theron unable to solve her brunette mystery. Pressure squarely on Charlize' shoulders: three consecutive losses will convince a lot of people that Bell is superior at this point - Charlize in no mood to bow her head just yet - pre-fight publicity is cordial, but anxious between the two. Electric blue string bikini for Bell; white for Charlize - contemplative stare down as the girls hold one anothers gaze and touch up like pros.

Round 1: Bell taking the lead, using the Oscar stance - dukes up, coming forward behind a smoking jab - Theron backing off, right hand at her cheek, left protectively over her chest in counter punch mode. All Bell tactically until the final minute when Charlize lights her up with a picture perfect right cross over the jab to pick Bell's front foot off the canvas. Bell wobbly butt, covers up as Theron stays composed, whipping in wide right hands to the tummy to take the round.

Round 2: All Charlize as she transitions effortlessly, now leading with her own jab and going to work on Bell's eyes. Charlize on her toes, circling and stabbing posts a breezy shutout as Bell pivots, blocks, but doesn't punch - still feeling the effects of Theron's sucker blast in the first.

Round 3: Better round for Bell as the girls rotate mid-ring, pounding one anothers faces shiny with rivet gun jabs, hooking to the cheeks and bending into nice right hands to the body. Down the stretch, THERON TAKES OVER WITH LUSTY TIT PUNCHING, stepping in close, ripping right and left UPPERCUTS BELL'S BLUE CUPS, SHUTTING HER DOWN WITH PAIN. Theron's demeanor brightens at the bell - Cat looking roughed up, getting out hustled through three.

Round 4: Charlize looking to go home early, spikes jabs and leans in with harpooning right hands that HAMMER the side of Cat's face with cracking impacts. Bell wobbly butt - legs quivering and Charlize just pours in the one-twos until BELL GOES DOWN! Bell quaking on her hands and knees, blood seeping from a small cut over the left eye - she beats the count in rough shape and Charlize hungrily advances. Theron muscling Bell to the ropes - Cat hunched over, gloves at her face - Charlize crowding her, chin in Cat's hair - blonde reaching over to the sides to swipe clubbing blows to the ribs and hips. BELL GOES DOWN AGAIN! Beefy body punching from Charlize pays off as Cat's legs give out and she looks shot on one knee as the ref. counts. Incredibly, Cat gets up and backs a shocked Theron up with grim slugging from the hips and the brawl is ON! Back and forth, girls tightening up their strokes, pitching from the waist and curling hard lefts and rights into one anothers bodies and jaws - big round for Charlize as both continue slugging past the bell until referee intervention.

Round 5: Girls rotate at center ring - Theron obviously looking for the one right hand to end it. Bell reaching into Charlize' tummy with the left, straightens suddenly with a clipping left hook to the temple and CHARLIZE IS HURT! Theron stumbling sideways, gloves at her lips and Bell takes over, walking forward behind big swinging lefts and rights to back Theron to the ropes. Charlize staying tucked behind a tight guard takes a beating to her sides and arms, but begins chipping away - a little uppercut in close, a chopping hook, a clinch - by the final minute Theron is doing the damage. Seconds left, girls laying in forehead to forehead, Theron jerks a series of short right uppercuts in close, banging away at Bell's chin and CAT IS HURT! Bell suddenly wobbly butt, collapses forward in a desperate clinch to tie Charlize up to the bell - round goes as a draw with both girls welting up and looking glossy around the eyes.

Round 6: Brisk slugging continues - Theron standing flat footed and pitching from her hips, twisting left and right to curl sharp punches with her elbows in tight. Bell timing her blonde, has that Oscar power boxing look as CAT DRIVES A SHORT RIGHT TO THERON JUG, then straightens to crack jaw with a winging left hook. Midway through the round, THERON'S COMPOSURE CRACKS AS THE HOOKS TO HER BREASTS ADD UP - she stops punching - face vacant and Bell takes over. All Cat as she works Theron over, leaning left to right, pulling wide punches into the blonde and batting that beautiful face into a pasty mess. Theron weaving at the bell as Cat pulls away, looking upbeat for the first time in the bout.

Round 7: Bell pouring it on, picking up where she left off. Theron lethargic, eyes swollen, mouth open - Bell able to lean on her girl, walk Charlize back, hold and hit as the tall girls go body to body. Bell with her gloves at Theron's neck and shoulders, able to tug Charlize off balance with a Muay Thai look, then pull the blonde into the short right uppercuts to the breasts or clouting her face. Bruising shutout sees Bell batter Charlize from pillar to post. Late in the round, Theron seems helpless as Cat hacks away with a series of wide right hands to the ear and ribs while holding Charlize in place - Theron in a swoon, flops heavily to her stool during the break.

Round 8: Bell keeps up the pressure, now stepping outside, putting that high hard jab to Charlize' forehead - Theron glassy eyed, hands at chest level and getting cracked. Textbook Bell: hook off the jab, turn the shoulder into clouting right hands - Theron soaking it up with that stoic chin - but she's punished this round, eyes closed to slits as Bell polishes her up.

Round 9: Girls touching each other with long range jabs - Bell goes to throw the right but Charlize beats her to the punch, kissing a gambling right off the brunette's chin, bending low on the follow through and BELL CRASHES TO THE CANVAS! Cat wide-eyed, limbs momentarily numb swoons on her back in a daze as Theron lifts her mitts wearily. Somehow, Cat beats the count, but her gorgeous gams are trembling. Theron walking in with bad intentions, jabs Cat to the ropes and piles on without pity. This is brutal toe to toe punishment - Charlize with her elbows on her hips, using her legs and torso to twist short powerful strokes into Cat - RISING LEFT HOOK TO THE JUGS, clouting right hands across the lips. Bell's mouthpiece dribbles down her chest as she slips into swoon - Theron mindlessly punching, stepping with Bell as she slides along the ropes and BELL GOES DOWN! Cat on her hands and knees, cut in the mouth, eyes swelling shut - she heroically climbs the ropes to survive the round, but it's a disastrous round for the brunette. Theron exhausted, but she has Bell ready to go.

Round 10: Crowd on it's feet as the girls come out stiff legged to meet at center ring - Charlize twisting and turning into her tight lefts and rights from the waist - Bell dipping in and down with the chopping right and coming back with the wide left hook. Both girls soak up shattering clouts to the chin as sweat flies, legs are shaken, but neither wants to back down. Theron's corner apoplectic - screaming for Charlize to box, but she wants the KO. Midway through the round, Bell gets the rhythm, punching with Charlize, but cleanly beating her body and bouncing her fists off Charlize' face as the blonde starts to weaken, missing or spanking Bell's shoulders as the two punch in tandem. CHARLIZE GOES DOWN!! Out of the blue, punishment adding up and the blonde wobbles to one knee - Bell in oxygen debt sucking it up as she watches Theron struggle to rise. Charlize stands, but she is reeling, hands at her waist, face blank - Bell stalks forward with under a minute left. Bell with a wide right hand bashes Theron's head to the side - Bell leaning right and pulling her left hand across Theron's face - Charlize is helpless - stumbling forward, eyes fluttering shut - Bell stepping back, now pumping her fists up under Theron's bra as the blonde mindlessly tries to clinch; lefts and rights spanking belly, breasts and face and THERON COLLAPSES! Out on her feet, Charlize pitches forward, sliding down Bell's body and crashing to her face as the brunette stumbles away. KO10 Catherine Bell as the crowd goes wild!

It's over! Both girls battered unrecognizable in one for the ages. It's without a doubt the most nightmarish moment in Charlize' career, used up once again by Catherine Bell and this time left face down on the canvas after ten hellish rounds of brawling. It's a beating that not only topples Theron from the top of the pound for pound ranks, but threatens her at her core: it was Bell taking the worst and coming back the best, Bell proving her chin and will down the stretch, Bell doing the things that Theron was famous for. Inconsolable, the blonde is helped from the ring as a weary but jubilant Cat Bell is hoisted high on the shoulders of her supporters and carried around the squared circle.
