Golden opportunity for Knowles - she enters a solid underdog, but there's quiet confidence in the Beyonce camp. "There's no downside for Knowles," says one pop-beat scribe, "and right now, she's facing a slumping Charlize Theron and everyone knows it. Girls are catching Charlize and knocking her out, and that sort of success feeds on itself. Girls who wouldn't normally load up are swinging for the fences on Theron and Charlize has got to put a stop to it. Beyonce can crack: if Charlize gets clipped, she's got to refuse the knockout. It's a decision, and if Theron has any aspirations at all of challenging for the title again, she's got to be harder than she has been."

Theron feeling the heat, answers her critics thus: "These youngsters like Knowles and Garner are getting too uppity for their own good. It's time some of the veterans took them to the woodshed and gave them a spanking - remind them to respect their betters!"

Round 1: Exuberant Knowles at the open. Beyonce rampaging Charlize into her corner, roughhousing - bulling into the tall blonde with head, shoulders and elbows to drape her back. Knowles with a shattering series of rights to the body - big sidearm swings, once, twice, three times against Theron's ribcage - Charlize wilting forward under the bashing pressure with concern in wide eyes. Fight rapidly devolves into Theron tying up, using front chokes, reaching under or around the arms, pulling down on Beyonce's head - anything to get breaks and slow the action. Knowles pushing and squirming to get on top, driving straight right hands to the breasts or batting away wide to the sides - anything to get leather on meat. At the bell - Knowles with a bellow of triumph, taunting Charlize with "ALL NIGHT LONG BABY! ALL NIGHT LONG!"

Round 2: Charlize quick to midring - knows she needs to open up the canvas to get Beyonce off her. Better round for Theron as she wheels around a relaxed, snapping jab, changing directions on Beyonce, keeping the solid blonde off balance. Theron content to chip little right hands and swatting hooks off her pivots - Knowles still thumping a hard right hand beneath that left breast of Theron in a wide ranging second.

Round 3: Theron dialing in - class becomes a factor. Knowles rushing, reaching - Charlize able to fade, take advantage with liquid quick counter right hands and that batting, swatting double and tripled up hook. Theron starting to chew Beyonce up as Knowles comes forward - as soon as wobble appears in Beyonce's trunks and she straightens up uncertain - Theron comes forward with drilling rights between the eyes and clapping lefts upside the head. Beyonce staggered at points by slashing combinations - no one shot is doing it, but Knowles gets busted up, hurt this round.

Round 4: Theron discouraging Knowles by fighting brilliantly in retreat - Beyonce bobbing forward, crossing her arms, but getting touched by a flicking Theron jab and stinging straight right hands between the eyes. Charlize turning at the ropes, opening up the canvas, luring her girl forward - it's vintage stuff from the ex-champ. Final moments - Theron widening her stance, planting long enough to really drill home the right hand, staggering Beyonce and leaving her crouched over her feet in a daze at the bell. Shutout Charlize.

Round 5: Charlize very relaxed now - moving only when necessary, nice and loose outside. Knowles with that Frazieresque head movement, crossing her arms trying to get inside the blonde's stick, but Theron judging distance sweet, keeping her girl at the end of the jab, leaning back and falling off to either side to consistently make Knowles sweep short. Occasions when Beyonce does find the ribcage - Theron ties up head and arm for the break.

Round 6: Charlize flat footed again, touching the left, drifing a short, SHARP right hand against Knowle's left eye - Theron just sliding back, getting the one-two in and BEYONCE GOES DOWN! Knowles just walking into fire, suddenly gets disoriented and stumbles to all fours, head tipping close to the canvas like she's suddenly decided to study bugs up close. Theron beaming in the neutral corner - she's having fun in there. Rest of the round cruel exhibition for Theron - she's circling free and easy, getting off with range-finding jabs and heartless right hands, placing the power exquisitely to Knowles' eyes, cheek and teeth. Beyonce rattled again and again as she turns, lumbers forward, and takes without moving her hands.

Round 7: Badly battered Beyonce Knowles comes out chugging - but she just can't get the range. Theron using the ring, keeping her distance, fighting smart, landing 3 and 4 for every clubbing swat she gives up against her waist. Charlize just flick-flick-flicking the backhand jab - freezes Beyonce behind her guard, allowing Theron to step away, punch, whatever she wants.

Round 8: Charlize flat footed, palming up on Beyonce, then chopping the right hand at the girl's busted up face, leaning away to clout the forget-me-not hook, neatly pivoting to make Knowles miss, then starting the hurt all over again. Beyonce sluggish, disheartened - when she comes forward, she's picked to pieces - when she stands still, Theron gets her angles and calls her shots. Brutal drubbing reaches crescendo as Charlize punches, rides her hands behind Knowles' neck to gently tug her off balance, then slugs away the uppercut or swatting right hand until a woozy Beyonce stumbles to one knee. Theron smiling down, walks past the girl to brush Beyonce's sleepy face with a sleek thigh as ref issues 8.

Round 9: Shutout Theron. Knowles' strong legs keeping her upright, but this is sickening. Charlize circling, beating Knowles into stupor, then moving in, pulling Beyonce behind the head, clipping and clouting the girl as she stumbles forward, then stacking her up onto her heels with a lounging shoulder lean to reset. Theron just slicing that right hand off her chest into Knowles face off the patting jab - Beyonce not even seeing it any more - beaten into open mouthed stupifaction by the constant cracking impacts. Beyonce staggering to her corner at the bell, eyes swelling to slits.

Round 10: Theron skipping, hopping at her prey, clouting Knowles with syncopated punching off her thighs - swiping, swatting punches driving the hapless singer along the ropes to a waiting corner. Charlize putting it to her girl without restraint, coming for Beyonce with KO intentions as Knowles sits on a turnbuckle, crumpled forward to take. Long, lashing punches, Theron bouncing fists off Knowles' skull, then reaching down the girl's trembling flanks to dig the waist - free swinging assault has Knowles paralyzed. Beating piles up horrifically as the ref inexplicably lets it go - Knowles finally slumping forward to the canvas out cold on her face as Charlize steps back and nods. KO10 Charlize Theron.

Knowles many moments recovering - she's finally coming to when Charlize pushes her way through the entourage, stoops as if to hoist Knowles to her feet by her waist band and starts to deliver a spanking as horrified officials look on! Charlize baring her teeth, holding a stunned Beyonce Knowles in place with a left fist full of pink trunk, delivering shattering right hand blasts down the singer's back to wallop that plump derriere! Beyonce lolls forward on her knees, pressed up against the long thigh and taut belly of her tormentress, hands useless at Theron's hips.

Charlize finally sated, stands up tall with hands in Beyonce's wet mane, crowing to the audience as months of frustration are released. Knowles just blubbering in shock as she kneels in front of Theron - beaten up, whacked out and utterly disgraced by a vindictive ex-champ. Pre-meditated humiliation outrages the press - when asked if a spanking will feature in the future, Charlize replies: "Get uppity, and find out."
