Ali Landry's quote in Celebrity Ring sums it up: "Meyer can clean up the dregs I've left her and we can get down to settling who the best fighter in this division really is. Theron's got nothing left - she CANNOT go into a Dina Meyer fight after the beating I gave her and expect to finish, much less win. This has more to do with Meyer tuning up for me than it does Meyer defending her belt in a significant way."

Harsh words, but Charlize has heard it all before. "Ali can think what she wants - the truth is, I gave as good as I got in that fight and she knows it. Not only do I have enough for Meyer, I've got TOO much for her. The day I lose to a Technetium fighter is the day I eat my cream bikini."

Adding fuel to the fire: rumors abound that Pam Grier is behind the en-masse Tech challenge of Charlize. "Wouldn't surprise me," says the blonde. "If I were Tech, I'd consider the source if they're listening to that old tramp."

Round 1: Charlize pretty to her left, hands low - she's just dancing, backhanding out a casual jab, looking her girl over. Meyer dukes up, crouched, bobbing and weaving as she cuts down the ring. Midway through, Dina ducks a quick one-two from Charlize, comes out of the crouch with a slashing monster hook and THERON GOES DOWN! Vicious head-swivel Charlize, Theron stretched out on her back and groaning - OH what a shot! CT takes her 8, digs in and it's heartless toe to toe brawling the rest of the way. Theron proves her mettle, elbows in, guard tight - she's just turning her torso, licking tight shots across Dina's midriff, or clipping her chin - Meyer can't close the show as Charlize shows incredible resilience in making it to the bell.

Round 2: Theron's had her wake up call - little more intense as she glides left, turning Meyer midring, peppering her with darting jabs off the hip. Charlize changing directions every once in a while, nicely wrong-footing Dina, forcing the champ to adjust. Not a lot of offense from Charlize - she's slapping her punches, feinting Dina back, just getting her legs under her and shaking off the last of Meyer's pulverizing shot from the first.

Round 3: Dina jabbing to Charlize' chest, staying low - Meyer able to duck inside with some consistency this round. Fighting off Theron's chest, Dina really tears it up to the waist, keeping her hands in front, snatching and snapping at the body, then curling rude uppercuts to those perky tits in close. Charlize huddling in with Dina, holding Meyer around the ears, controlling her head, basically sacrificing her body in a slow meandering waltz while Meyer works

Round 4: Charlize' turn. Back outside, loping, gliding lateral movement, snappy, loose-limbed jabs off the hip, often doubled up to pak-pak Dina's surprised face at a distance. Charlize with a little hitch-step to the right every so often - she'll plant, drop the hesitation right - Meyer soaking up a flush, cracking shot on the left side of her head keeps walking through it. Shutout Charlize - Meyer can't pull the trigger this round as Theron's legs dictate.

Round 5: Bruising Dina Meyer shutout, has everything she could want. Charlize with her back against the ropes. Charlize laying in, hands up around Dina's ears, trying to block Meyer's body shots with her elbows. Dina squirming to pick Theron's mouth up with jagged uppercuts in tight - Dina bouncing her mitts off Theron's tanned tummy, stooping the blonde forward stiff with hurt. Sack socking? Oh yeah, Meyer's helping herself.

Round 6: Shutout with power - Charlize! Theron staggering Meyer in the first minute with a sneaky lope-to-the-right, hesitation right hand on the chin - Dina double-clutching, trying to get her bearings midring. Theron getting big girl, down off her bicycle - she's palming up Dina's shoulders, shoving her back, extending on humming right hands through the middle. Charlize pulling down on Dina's head, sidestepping while spinning the redhead - blonde warned for excessive grabbiness from the stern referee.

Round 7: Best round of the fight for Charlize - she puts it all together to make the champ suffer this round. First minute - prep the opponent with dancing footwork on the outside, sizzling jabs, testing right crosses through the guard. Second minute, flat footed slugging - more crashing rights up top, swinging, shivering hooks flat against the tummy, then rough, assertive palming of Meyer's slumped shoulders. Charlize slugging and shoving, palming and pulling her girl off balance, then lighting her up again - it's masterful big girl stuff from the blonde. Final minute - Charlize muscling her foe to the ropes - big blonde beat down to the bell. Theron patient, fitting thick, juicy right hands to the pit of Dina's belly, palming the girl back, jostling her, using the left hand to stabilize and drifting harsh right hands to the mouth. Meyer all busted up, curvy legs holding her upright, but she's badly dazed at the bell. Scored 10-8 without the knockdown - Theron helps herself to a clapping left handful of Dina's backside as demoralized red head stumbles to her corner.

Round 8: Meyer roars back, trapping Charlize in her corner, giving the challenger hell with a rampaging, two fisted attack. Theron once again controlling Dina's head, giving up her body in a questionable defensive strategy - Meyer able to twist her torso and rip at Charlize' vitals underneath while keeping her forehead on Theron's chest. All Meyer to the final minute when Charlize LIGHTS HER UP THE COUNTER RIGHT UPPERCUT! Theron with a sneaky tug-down on Dina's head, pulls her into the clipping shot and has the champ knock-kneed in hurt! Quick spin-and-shove reverses their positions - Theron now squaring away to batter Dina at the ropes. Meyer glassy eyed, covers up ear-muff as Theron LASHES away without restraint! Once again, proud champion won't go down, but Theron steals a clear Dina Meyer round, leaving red head trembling at the bell.

Round 9: Meyer busted up, hurt, but grimly determined, she comes out arms crossed, bobbing as she whittles down the distance on Charlize. Theron sliding back, but flat footed, trying to walk Dina into a murderous right cross - Meyer ducking and swinging wide out of her crouch, Theron harpooning up the middle - it's two way danger. THERON GOES DOWN! End of the first minute, girls turn on simultaneous rights - Dina wins the race and sits the blonde down awkwardly at the ropes. Meyer lifting her mitts, shouting and hooting as Theron tries once, twice to pull herself up the ropes. Charlize barely beats the count, hunkers down and DINA MARCHES IN! Sensational, heartless back and forth - Charlize head-in-hands as she lets Meyer bash away to the arms and flanks, then blonde answers with tightened up strokes, right uppercuts, swiping left hooks. Both girls ragged at the break as the crowd drowns out the bell!

Round 10: Charlize and Dina get shoulder to shoulder, taking turns harming each other to the midsection and chin - it's brutal, disciplined trading at close range. Final minute - Theron elects to bounce it outside and cruise to the bell behind her jab. Time and again, Meyer tries to close, batting at Theron's rangefinder, but the blonde won't be walked down. Goes to the cards - it's a close one: one point UD10 for the winner and NEW WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION Charlize Theron!

After: KruZher jinx holds up - a distraught Meyer watches in disbelief as her belts are taken away. Charlize dropped and lumped up for the second straight time, but deliriously happy in the aftermath of this brawl - as close and savage an affair as either could have wanted.

"I shocked the world!" Charlize bellows, still reeling with punishment, "Who's the greatest now? I took this tramp out back the woodshed and I dressed her up. This is the girl that knocked Jeri Ryan loopy. This is the girl everyone said couldn't be beat. I gave her a little something to think about didn't I?
