BEFORE: "All I know is she won a pageant about a million years ago and now she's a whiny little beyotch," Adrianne shrugs in prefight. "She's pretty, I guess - but other than that - she looks like a chin waiting to get checked!" Prejean smouldering, outraged to be so dismissed. "I've got something for Adrianne," Carrie says calmly, turning to her right, stepping off the dais and slapping Adrianne's face as Pallicki's smiling up at her! Cue chair-tossing, bench-clearing brawl as all hell breaks loose: Carrie P introducing herself about as plainly as she can to her young opponent. Carrie in pale pink bikini top; black spandex short-shorts; black gloves; white runners with socks rolled down; ponytail with bouncy bangs framing face. Pallicki in white bikini top; white stretch cotton short shorts; white gloves; white shoes with socks rolled down; long blonde curls loose.

During R1: Pallicki advancing, spurned to belly and breasts as Prejean shows an educated pageant jab and scoots to the side. Minute mark, Adrianne walks in tall, eats a looping overhand right to jaw and PALLICKI'S ROCKED! All-in gambling haymaker shakes up the bigger blonde as the smaller scoots away. Prejean's eyes glittering like a ferret's: she sees Adrianne forming up behind rigid earmuff, knows the big girl is hurt. Shellack applied to Pallicki's waist - Prejean stroking away rangy rights and lefts: not the way Adrianne wanted to start as Carrie paints her for points through 1.

R2: Adrianne more focussed, more organized - right hand up/right elbow in tight - left hand pumping out jabs from the shoulder as she walks Prejean down. Carrie feeling the weight of shot on her guard, scurries away...Prejean refusing combat whenever she can. Some shoeshining flurries from Carrie P keep Adrianne from simply pinning ears back and wading in...but Pallicki's the effective aggressor through 2.

R3: Strong, steady attack to break Prejean down: Pallicki stepping in behind her jab; seeking cranking left hooks amidships; dropping rangy right hands up top. Prejean put wobbly butt early, sent scampering thereafter - takes Adrianne almost 2 minutes to force Prejean ropeside. Pair of cranking hooks off the front (left) leg slam to Carrie's midsection; right cross caroms off Carrie's forehead and PAGEANT PRINCESS DOWN! Prejean sputtering on all fours, trembling as Adrianne strides past all tanned n' leggy.

R4: Adrianne wades in to finish, promptly absorbs a pair of cheap left hooks to crotch, doubles up in pain and Carrie goes over to offence. Prejean snarling, baring teeth: she's hacking rights in against Pallicki's left hip/kidney; cuffing little hooks at AP's right ear/flank as Pallicki bends over. Pallicki rallying again and again, but each time she rights herself, Prejean strokes her trunks, or elbows her jugs and unhinges Adrianne's knees. Bell: Pallicki bent forward behind the gloves, her butt in ropes; snarling Prejean clasps her hands axe-handle style - steps to her right - raises hands above her head and brings them CRASHING down into the small of Adrianne's back. Cry of pain, Pallicki - she's driven to her knees, back arched, head thrown back...ref immediately in and shouting rebukes to a seething Prejean.

R5: Pallicki walking Prejean down behind a flattening jab: Carrie scurrying away, or diving in to clinch when she's cornered. Sloppy stuff - Adrianne dominating with her jab, but unable to put power onto her nubile foe: Prejean scoring some cheap cuffs and hits-on-the-break, but nothing that could win her the round.

R6: Carrie suddenly turns pageant boxer: right (back) heel up off canvas...weight on front leg...imperious jab pounding at Pallicki's raised guard and tempting jugs. Adrianne fencing back jabs - scoring to Carrie's face - but Prejean surprisingly adept at this long distance poking. CP moving her jab up and down torso - now prodding Adrianne's tummy, now her teats - occasionally trying to split the mitts and spite Pallicki's face. Adrianne lulled into the rhythm, turning and dealing with Carrie: Pallicki upbeat at the bell, has no idea she's just lost the round.

R7: Same again, Carrie showing her pageant pedigree - jabbing Pallicki; clinching her as required; issuing shoe-shine flurries before sidestepping quickly out of dangerous positions. None of it hurts Adrianne, but she's frustrated by the lack of thudding exchanges, and the constant wriggling of Prejean's nuisance clinches. Another round slips past as Adrianne's seeking decisive combat with a girl who wants nothing of the kind.

R8,9,10: Prejean continues to harass, delay, avoid, deny, as Adrianne continues to make the fight. Sloppy clinches; nuisance shoe-shine flurries from Prejean...she simply refuses to trade meaningful blows. Adrianne imposing will by leaning into torrid right hands even when they miss: sheer vicious weight of them enough to rout Carrie out of her stance. Boos from the crowd - mostly for Carrie, but some fans impatient with the chin-checker who isn't seeing much of her foe's face at all. Best moments for Pallicki come when she can lean in close, lap long arms underneath to pump at Pageant-winning torso and waist. Carrie won't return the punishment however - either clinching or bailing depending on the circumstances. Prejean stinks out the joint, getting some of the stink on Adrianne in the process: comes back UD10 Adrianne Pallicki.

After: Prejean livid at the decision - stamping her foot and screeching at the official to reverse it immediately: she actually takes her dispute to the high commission, obligating Adrianne in days to come to waste time in hearings that ultimately uphold the decision by landslide verdict. Pallicki blameless, but taking the boos to heart in postfight: "I'm sorry - I just want to apologize to the fans...I know Carrie was running all night, but that's no excuse: I should have stopped her. When I dropped her, I just got into KO mode and thought I was one good punch away from solving this chick...but I under-estimated her, at least her fitness level. She took some body shots, but I couldn't loosen her up, and she was really smart about holding and running, and I just couldn't get on her the way I wanted. It's a shame, 'cause when she stood her ground and boxed, I could see she was quality - but I started touching her, and she went back into rabbit mode."
