BEFORE: "Claire doesn't particularly pose a threat," Confident KBell says in prefight. "She's good - and awkward - but I feel I hit harder, and I have the right style to beat her. She's looks drawn and weak to me at 110 - that's to my advantage as I feel I'm just about the strongest girl out there at the weight." Danes non-plussed: Bell particularly snippy this time around, and Claire doesn't like it. "Looks like Miss 'Almost' needs another lesson in humility," Claire says at podium. "Your job is to take punches, look confused, and keep your stupid mouth shut - not offer opinions on my physique or your imaginary chances. See you in the ring, Kris: can't wait to twist my jab into your cheek." Kristen in baby blue bikini; small white gloves; world's feistiest ponytail. Danes in lilac bikini top with dark purple bottoms; hair in ponytail with bangs (also pretty feisty when you get right down to it); small black gloves.

During R1: Bell forward with whirling lefts and rights - trying to put mitts on meat: Claire sliding back in her stance, looking to clout check-hooks and wheel-pivot left around the counters. Wide ranging, frenetic action: not a lot of clean contact. Bell's coming forward, trying to bring the heat: judges give her the points.

R2: Similar stuff - Bell getting off with both hands while in constant pursuit: Danes trying to bait traps/walk Kris into shots. Claire a little more accurate this round - finding Bell with the checking left-hook off the right (back) leg and pivoting clockwise around her; rolling right hands with that left shoulder and coming back the right uppercut neat beneath Krissy's chin. Points: Claire.

R3: Kris finally able to jab her way close and whirl mitts against Claire's ribs: Danes momentarily crippled, covers up face-in-gloves beneath the onslaught. Bell a sight to behold: ponytail tossing; little face all pinched up with rage; palm-down lefts and rights carving into Claire's slender ribcage - skidding off her flanks/biting against her belly. It's too much - Danes takes a breathless knee to escape pressure: right back up for an orderly 8 count. Bell in hot pursuit thereafter as Claire fights in retreat: Danes scoured to ropes, nicked and chipped at as Krissy pours combinations into hated HISC torso.

R4: Claire's turn: she walks Krissy in, fits her for a jolting left uppercut off the front (left) leg...Bell picked up onto her toes, sent reeling to her left all wide-eyed and stunned. Krissy's curvy legs hold her up, but she's hurt - forced to cover up butt-on-ropes as Claire swarms in. Danes unleashing flailing volleys - pasting away all long-armed lefts and rights in sweeps across Krissy's back/head/shoulders: Bell forced to clinch or be beaten to her knees. Claire stays inside - wedging elbows down into Kristen's embraces to lever them apart, then continue the work: Danes showing she can tighten up stroke to dig effectively off a girl's chest.

R5: Claire in wide stance, sliding back to create gaps, walking Krissy in, then tagging her slick. Bell applying pressure up the middle - whirling her way torwards Claire, but her volume's being answered by gorgeous, precise counters. Danes putting Kris wobbly butt with that slick left uppercut again - pivoting left off the strike to leave Bell stumbling in space. Danes deploying hesitation rights off feints to score as well - punching Bell directly in her startled face. Claire out-thrown 2 to 1, but her pinpoint accuracy carves out the points.

R6: Good penetration from Krissy - she's spitting jabs/bobbing her head on the way in, getting to Claire's chest. Whirling body blows follow - Kris just gritting her teeth and digging into Claire palm-down rights and lefts - muscular stuff has Danes biting back cries of pain. Claire bunching up, stricken: she's not legging out of there...just folding forward with elbows pressed tight to her body, suffering in spots, then tying up for breaks. Ref spreads 'em out, but Kris always aggressively closing the gap to get back on, running Claire ragged bell to bell.

R7: Krissy jabs Claire to ropes: Danes forms pocket and siege begins. Bell bobbing on the spot, putting punches together - bouncing mitts off head/shoulders when Claire's leaning forward; whirling biting blows to ribs/waist when Claire's upright. Danes limber, bendy in the pocket - turning side to side - lowering her shoulder to push KBell off. Claire licking back single-shot counters off the ropes - trying to dive in with sneaky right hands - or dipping-and-ripping that limber left uppercut. Neither girl can find the off switch, but Bell's relentless pressure and top-position at ropes gives her bitterly contested points.

R8: Girls fighting shoulder to shoulder midring - Claire pivoting/turning as Kris presses in - always looking to size Bell up for the ringing counter. Kris less choosy - whirling her mitts into all things Claire - hitting her hips/ribs/tits/arms. It's hot in the kitchen - Claire supple and bendy as she works inside, but slowly getting outworked...she pulls out, pivots to her left with hands at her waist; Bell leaves her feet to deliver gambling hook to taller girl's face. Claire's head punched straight back...she backpedal-staggers out of it, hitting ropes in disarray...CLAIRE'S HURT! Danes stricken, forms limp earmuff, lips parted in dismay as Krissy comes a-pouncing in. RIPPING stuff deployed to Claire's midsection: Bell grunting as she heaves in rights and lefts in behind Danes' elbows - the small mitts denting lean meat, then bouncing off hot. Torrid PIK! PAK! PEK! of Krissy's mitts leaves Claire swooning, blinking prettily at bell.

R9: Claire composes, rallies, outboxes her foe in the middle of the ring. Danes in forward aspect - weight on front (left) leg, working behind the jab as she pivots clockwise. Feints sets up hesitation rights up the middle: Krissy continually biting on these, getting her face spanked. Claire leading rather than countering, keeps Bell outside and touches her up: Danes briskly back to her corner going into the 10th, and possibly deciding heat.

R10: Claire working that check hook/clockwise pivot routine - walking Krissy in, checking her, getting around her. Minute in, Bell unhinged by a vicious hook behind right ear: she covers up earmuff, stoops forward...and gets picked up a biting little left uppercut to chin. Claire encircling Kris - keeping the jab on her - looping wide rights to the left ear, then looking to lean in and pick her up the jagged left uppercut. Superior stuff from Danes has Kristen staring from punishment - only those perfect buns and sturdy legs keep her standing as Danes rips her foe for 10th round points. Goes to card for a long tallying-delay: comes back UD10 Kristin Bell!

After: 5 rounds a piece - knockdown gives it to Kris: Claire standing hands on hips, staring thoughtfully at canvas in the aftermath, willing herself not to be heartbroken by this. "I'm stronger," Kristen gushes in postfight, face nice n' puffy from Claire's ripping work. "I'm busier...I even think I'm that much smarter than Claire. I pressed her to the body and broke her down, and the odd time she DID catch me, my legs were too sturdy for her power. It's a huge win for me because it means I'm the best all-around fighter in the division. That includes 'Lucky' Lacey Chabert!"
