Rosamund is a little taller and 3 years older than Hayley, who debuts tonight at lightweight, pleased to be up against a girl who has lost her first two fights.

Rosamund is first into the ring, looking good in a black one-piece outfit, with Hayley soon following in white.

Round 1

It's a cagey start from both girls, as they stalk each other, Rosamund throwing some nice jabs into Hayley's face, with the younger girl circling and trying to keep out of trouble. The round continues with Rosamund the more aggressive, and Hayley seeming content to let her use her energy.

Round 2

Still the girls are feeling each other out, Rosamund's jabs finding Hayley's face regularly, so much so that her cheeks are reddening by the midpoint. Towards the end of the round Hayley gets more involved, and the girls swap shots at each other, with Hayley's hooking style cuffing Rosamund's head.

Round 3

Hayley ups the tempo in the opening seconds, and her two fisted attack to Rosamund's face make the older girl reel back to the ropes at first, then she ties Hayley up when she closes in on her. Constantly leaning on to the younger girl, Rosamund is trying to sap her strength, but she knows Hayley can hurt her.

Round 4

Hayley again takes the fight to Rosamund, but she's getting caught on the counter punch, soon finding herself on the ropes, with Pike working to her body. Now it's Hayley covering herself up and clinching, but she gets hurt to the belly late on in the round, then is caught with a swift one-two to the face, beginning to look shabby by the bell.

Round 5

Knowing that she's hurt Hayley, Rosamund comes out looking for her a little more quickly, finding the girl's jaw with a nice right hand which has her hanging on, and now she looks to turn up the heat some more. Steaming in keenly, Pike is over-eager, and the mobile Hayley bumps a series of good shots into the blonde's face, and her knees start to buckle, the big girl almost dropped by a nice right hook to the ear late on.

Round 6

Hayley looks good now, beginning to hurt a slowing Rosamund with some well directed hooks to the body, the older girl gasping and grunting as she fails to stop them landing. Rosamund spends much of her time late on against the ropes, with Hayley really sorting her out to the body.

Round 7

After hurting Rosamund to the body early on in the round, Hayley looks to land to her face, and her punches are bruising the big blonde up, her cheeks kind of puffy, her lips swollen. But Rosamund defends her face well in the second part of the round, almost allowing Hayley to hit her body in adopting a rope-a-dope style defence.

Round 8

Again Rosamund is taking a beating to the flanks and ribs, but perhaps it's getting a little too much for her, and she's trying to clinch again, breathing heavily, leaning against Hayley when she works up close. Looking more and more tired, Rosamund's arms are dropping, and they get pummelled too by the hard working Hayley, who splits the blonde's lips open with a solid straight right in the closing seconds, the big girl's legs wobbly as she returns to her stool.

Round 9

Rosamund is fighting for pride now, and she does her best to keep those aching arms up, even throwing some of her own punches at Hayley, but they're slow and weak, the younger girl able to shrug them off. The round is drawing to a close when Hayley gets Rosamund with that hard right hand again, knocking her head back, the girl tottering backwards to the ropes, followed by Hayley who belts her head back and forth as hard as she can, but somehow Rosamund gets through the round.

Round 10

Lips swollen and bleeding, face bruised - Rosamund looks well beaten, and she's getting hurt to the body again early in the round, her guard shot, and she bends over in pain, now forced to take a savage left hook, right hook to the sides of her head, and the blonde hits the floor at last. Rosamund gets up at 8, but she's very dazed, and Hayley must knock her out surely, but she seems unwilling to finish her battered prey off, and lets the judges decide.

Hayley Atwell beat Rosamund Pike on points - unanimous

That was a good debut from Hayley, but she must find a powerful punch more quickly - there are many better girls in this division than Rosamund Pike.
