Before: Brenneman the forgotten woman in the promotion--all the hype surrounds Jewel’s right hand and the expected carnage she’ll wrought on the “opponent”--Amy walking out of a pre-fight conference to protest the unbalance treatment. Jewel in white sports bra, teal adidas terrycloth trunks, slick ponytail. Amy in black sports bra, red adidas trunks, Spanish ponytail.

R1: Girls don’t have to search for one another--shoulder to shoulder slugfest early, Jewel slowly working Amy to the ropes as the blonde gets the better of clipping, compact exchanges. Final minute, Brenneman finding a little uppercut inside, then a clouting right on the jaw begins to counter well off the ropes. Beating Jewel to short right hands inside sends a stinger down Kilcher’s legs and JEWEL IS HURT! Kilcher collapsing forward as Amy spins away--Jewel hing up on the lower rope lke laundry in the wind as Amy lifts her mitts. Kilcher beats the count, but her face is distant at the bell.

R2: Jewel fight hurt, gets shoulder to shoulder again and proves the stronger I the trenches, forcing Amy’s back to the ropes and keeping up the pressure. Brenneman still tagging little right uppercuts or clouting right hands on the chin, but she’s covered up, spending most of her time blocking and rolling with punches and letting Jewel dictate the pace. Round to Kilcher.

R3: girls lean in cheek to cheek, trading 2 and 3 rips to the body, occasionally turning a shoulder into the uppercut to jugs or jaw-deliberate pace set by both as heavy contact continues. Jewel again the busier, more effective slugger--Amy with her back to the ropes lays in , but she’s starting to feel it to her midsection.

R4: Amy fading to the ropes, luring Jewel in nd setting up shoulder to shoulder, Amy picking up Jewel’s body shots on her left forearm, just gets her legs and shoulder behind short, devastating right hand on the jaw and Kilcher starts to wobble. Jewel bodying up trying to crowd her brunette, but Amy giving the blonde that lead shoulder, just keeps hacking away., over and under with that little right hand--Kilcher starting to buckle, Amy all wide-eyed, stepping along the ropes and nailing a sleepy Jewel Kilcher with heavy right hands--a beefy dig to the tummy breaks Jewel down and leaves her vulnerable to the curling right uppercut in the teeth and JEWEL GOES DOWN! Kilcher sprawling on her face parallel to the ropes, rolls to her back on the apron and can’t go on! Crushing KO4 Amy Brenneman!

After: Amy counterpunching her way to a devastating victory, claims she read Jewel’s right hand “like a book” and had no trouble whatsoever with the blonde. “Singers can’t fight,” says the actress, “Kilcher’s the proof.” ouch. Jewel stung by the KO and the assessment is unavailable for immediate comment.
