BEFORE: "In our last fight round-table," Dani relates in prefight, "we were all batting around ideas - and Hayden wanted to fight Cassie right off - but I said 'no - make her earn it'. I really believe Hayden and Sarah are too established now for 1-fight wonders to jump right in with. Scerbo looked good against Snow - but Britanny's not Foxfire quality. Anybody coming in with as little to offer as Cassie Scerbo needs to pay dues. I'm more than happy to be gatekeeper for our big stars. If I expose Cassie Scerbo in the process - so much the better!" Scerbo bright eyed, eager at the podium. "I'm excited," beautiful little blonde reveals. "It's my first move against Foxfire - and I guess everyone knows I've got ambitions there. I agree with Harris actually: I probably SHOULD earn the right to get Hayden in the ring - and if Foxfire thinks sacrificing Dani is the proper price...so be it. The goal here is annihilation - to beat Dani the way Hayden would. When they carry Harris broken and blubbering out of the ring, everyone's going to know I'm worthy." Cassie in white bikini top with busy green squiggly pattern; skirted waist in the same pattern over dark green swimsuit bottoms; tan boxing UGGS to midcalf; small white gloves; ponytail with bangs framing face; graham-wafer gold tan. Dani in purple bikini; small black gloves; black boxing UGGS to midcalf; dark hair loose with bangs. Aside: Scerbo very active on the merchandise side for an independent fighter - moving "TEAM CASSIE" t-shirts and hats; DVD units of her Bring It On movie; DVD set of Make it or Break it - polished little newcomer definitely knows what time it is in the FCBA.

During R1: Jitterbugging, Hayden-like footwork from Scerbo - she's hopping in her stance, making little shifting adjustments side to side, or scooting in and out. Dani a little more flat footed, trying to get the jab on Cassie: Harris eats a swift right hand over the top to start festivities. Cassie with a jamming straight left, then a straight right: stiff poking blasts in the mouth back Dani up. Cassie stepping with...she bobs twice in quick succession, slipping Harris hooks: answers back a stubby straight right to face, followed by rising hook. Dani smote, staggering to ropes: eyes're wide, startled at the velocity and pop. Scerbo continues darting in-out attacks - penetrating Dani's guard, scoring, then pivoting to either side for fresh angles off either Harris shoulder. Dani pelted from in front and 45 degrees to either side: clinical up-tempo attack like clockwork from Cassie. Scerbo sustains it - 2 or 3 pummeling blows, then a quick reposition: Harris a confused beauty, taking punishment. Bell - Scerbo glares through ropes to make intense eye contact with Hayden: Dani cringing, grumpy, wobbly-butt from a bell to bell pasting.

R2: Dani changing her frontage - showing a sturdy V guard with elbows collected beneath jugs/hands at cheeks. Cassie's early combinations pelt at arms/shoulders - Dani able to jam short ripostes up the middle, off the block... but Scerbo sustains pace. By the minute mark - blonde girl working with jerking left uppercuts in concert with rapid straight rights to split Dani's guard, punching her backward. Final minute, Dani steadily reduced at ropes when Scerbo reaches in under Harris' arms to stack her deep for the first time. CASSIE WANTS RACK! Scerbo baring her teeth, wrestling apart Harri's arms and jerking up into those perky melons. Thrusting, pumping assault in snug has Dani bleating in pain at bell: Scerbo pushing up off cringing brunette, glaring at Hayden through the ropes.

R3: HARD right hand caroms off Dani's brow: Scerbo so sudden with it, landing before Harris can react. Hooks upside the head bat Harris off course...punching her to the same patch of ropes directly above Hayden. Scerbo bounces in, digs up tummy, pumps the lungs: robust body work has Harris shabby with hurt. Dani grimacing - right hand at left cheek/left across throbbing gut: she's being overwhelmed by non-stop Scerbo punching. Key for Cassie: footwork...she never falls in atop Dani, never smothers herself - she's always got good bouncy balance, every punch landing with popping leverage, then she's able to change angle around that planted left foot. Rivetting, stiff, straight punches decimating Harris: face is busting up; rack constantly under threat as Scerbo deliberately humbles hooters by the bell. Pushing up off Harris, Scerbo glares through ropes at Hayden again: Panettiere seething, crossing her arms in disgust. "Get 'er, Dani!" is all Hayden can say.

R4: Exagerrated step-in, dip-down to the left works as feint, freezing Dani: Scerbo erupting from the posture with a hop-in hook, turns Harris' chin aside, sends her reeling to ropes. Another sustained siege of Harris results: brunette hard-pressed - sitting in ropes, trying to keep hands up/bobbing and rolling at the waist. Scerbo eyes-bright, ponytail-tossing: she's getting off brisk 3 punch tic-tac-toe pummeling sorties - shifting her angle - chopping at Dani afresh. Pair of hooks from outside Dani's left shoulder spank off her face, stunning her: she's cut in the mouth, hurt. Shifting to a point off Dani's right shoulder, Scerbo thrusts straight, stubby right hands in on Dani's right cheek: awkward angle jerks Dani's head aside, loosens up her knees. Constant, non-stop tattooing finally ends when Scerbo reaches in under Dani's arms, chests her upright, then subjugates that rack. Dani sobbing, miserable as Cassie chugs a furious hup-hup-hup barrage to jug. Bell: Scerbo pushes Dani deep to ropes before withdrawing - glares at Hayden. Harris in dire straits...hugging battered ribs, collapsing on her stool. Madsen warns her "Gotta show me something Dani...I can't let you take much more of this."

R5: Dani pressing forward: Scerbo shows defensive cutes. Retreating before Harris, Scerbo bobs low/weaves side to side: Dani spraying punches, missing even as she chases Scerbo to apron. Cassie spins-out, walks to her right - eyes intense as she reads Dani's intentions. More attacks from Harris: grazing contact only as Scerbo scoots away. Multi-layered defensive skill illustrated by Cassie: legs; head movement; blocking - very tough for Harris to penetrate with anything like authority. Nevertheless - good pressure from Dani - could be her round...then the wheels fall off late. Dani pursuing, punching: Scerbo spins counter-clockwise off the ropes, turning Harris' left flank; hooking Dani's mouth, then exchangiing simultaneous stubby straight hands. DOWN GOES HARRIS! Dani's back (right) knee buckles, pitching her down and to her right - she ends up floundering face-first in ropes. Bright smile Scerbo lights up the arena: she just spent two minutes drawing Dani out, then stole the round from her. Cocky glance at Hayden before turning, prancing all ponytails to corner.

R6: Harris labouring: eyes swelling badly, face puffy, ribs aching - she's simply taking a frightful beating each and every round. Scerbo hops to the attack, engages: every exchange is Cassie ripping combinations to head and body, driving Dani back; Harris answering one or two desperation punches, usually off balance/out of position. Scerbo punched on her forehead or chest: she ignores these slights, keeping pressure on. Eventually, Dani's resistance is beaten down; she's driven to ropes; systematically reduced. With Dani gasping, cringing in crossed arm late...Scerbo reaches in, wrestles apart the guard and gets after that rack. Anguished groan from poor Dani: eyes frowning shut, lips curled off her teeth...this is senseless ransacking of a girl's heaving rack here. Scerbo in close, jerking up into the meat while crowding in close: good thick hup-hup leaves Dani blubbering on ropes. Hard look at Hayden, Cassie Scerbo: Panny blushing crimson. Harris limps into port, hugging her bosom: Madsen again suggests a stoppage, bitterly refused by battered Dani.

R7: Dani punching, missing over the top, rocked as Scerbo erupts from crouches with swinging power to noggin. Harris driven back: eyes're slits at this point...she can't see the incoming. Scerbo sets up at ropes again - frisky about her brunette, batting punches off quivering tummy/hammering the flanks: very thorough preparations despite Dani's extreme reduced condition. Hooks from ouside Dani's left shoulder strike her face; stubby straight rights from outside Dani's right shoulder, stamping at her right cheek; constant drumming of the torso robbing Dani of breath. With Harris drooping, hanging on: Scerbo reaches in, stacks up, and plunders helpless rack...Dani just moaning as her breasts bunch up and jostle around from close-in hup-hup. Bell: Dani a mess - hugging her body, stooped forward butt-in-ropes. Scerbo whirls suddenly, ponylashing Dani across swollen eyes, bringing Hayden shouting out of her seat.

R8: Harris battered beyond recognition: could very well be the worst beating of her career. Scerbo tireless, so focussed: eyes bright as she angles in off Dani's left shoulder, drills her a series of straight, stamping lefts and rights to head, driving Harris to ropes. Hopping, kinetic attack proceeds on schedule, with vigour: Scerbo prosecuting the offensive without mercy, paralyzing Harris body and soul. Dani crossing arms, stooping forward off ropes: face all lumpy, lips parted...she's reacting AFTER she gets hit, never before. Harris looks headed for canvas once or twice, but Scerbo quick to reach in and prop up: blonde girl extending the punishment, deliberately breaking Dani all the way down. Romp to the jugs uncontested in final moments: Dani's head lolling back, baring her throat as Scerbo takes what she wants. Break: Madsen deeply concerned, says - "Dani - baby we need to stop this."
Dani: "...ok..."
Madsen: "Can I stop this?"
Dani: "...stop it...i'm hurt...i'm really hurt..."
That's it. Madsen turns with white towel in hand, waves it at the Scerbo corner: KO8 via submission - Cassie Scerbo.

After: Dani crippled - hugging tortured torso: Foxfire attendant lifts her, carries her from the ring like a little bag of hurt as Cassie celebrates quite possibly the beating of the year. "That's on Foxfire," Cassie says in post-fight, in-ring. "They sent Dani against me to see what I had, so I showed them. I wouldn't blame them if they kept Hayden away from me now - that's probably the smart move - but even if they do: girls're lining up to face me. Song/Scerbo's just as hot a fight as Song/Panettiere: nobody's going to miss Hayden. Either Hayden fights to protect what she's built, or she'll wither on the vine. Either way's good."
