Before: Brittany vowing revenge for Dunning’s capsizing of Charlize Theron in the first round, playfully “ranking” Dunning’s rack as to desirability and punchability (Top 5—behind Bell, but ahead of Ryan), BD taking some pleasure in being the sole remaining Krusher—all the spotlight she can handle, carrying the stable on her shoulder—she’s loving it. Dunning trumping Daniel’s posturing with a “Krusher Killer” pale blue tshirt with pink block betters—prompting a near riot from the Krusher side of the dais. Brittany not the underdog she would have been had she not already shocked Famke Janssen.—Daniel can make this interesting.

During R1: Both girls come out grinning, but Double D slaps the smile off Brittany’s lips in a one sided round of pursuit. Dunning dukes at chest height, stepping to Brittany and swinging in tight horizontal arcs, snapping the fists back to chest on follow through—Brittany bobbing and turning her shoulders to give angles, but Dunning’s punches are moving the blonde. Debbe walking her down for points this round.

R2: Janet wants jabs, movement—Brittany makes it work early with a clockwise rotation around a spitting stick. Dunning fearless, coming forward, hooking Brit in the shoulder, dropping right hands between the eyes, constantly on the march,. Daniel retreating, looking a little shaky and down the stretch: Brit hopping left along the ropes to get around Debbe—Dunning steps with, hooks Brit in the forehead, unhinging Daniel’s legs. Brittany stepping in fence post holes before stumbling to all fours—she’s up at 7, looking forlorn at the bell.

R3: Daniel stays composed—she’s tasted Deb’s power, respects it, but the blonde sticks to her game plan. Brittany stepping left, jabbing tummy, looking for hooks up top—Dunning cooperating by storming straight up the middle and getting outflanked. Brit unable to hurt Deb, but she’s getting good touches and sidestepping the brunette, taking advantage of Deb’s one-way footwork.

R4: Brittany looking to edge in off her jab, but Dunning greeting the blonde with thick, stuffing lefts and rights in the stomach as the girls fall in together, Brit banged up in a series of collisions all around the ring—she’ll wade in, take a series of galloping Dunning body and chest punches, then reel back on her heels to regroup. Shutout Deb.

R5: Brittany’s behind—the boxing’s allowing her to survive, but not win—she goes right at Debbe this round. Brit getting inside Deb’s longer arms—blonde a more compact, tighter puncher and she’s scrubbing up those jugs in a series of withering assaults that drive Dunning’s back to the ropes for the first time. Debbe D eyes wide in shock, trying to wrap up Daniel, but blonde furiously struggling away in close to get at that rack. Brittany palming Deb’s shoulders, pushing her up into the strands, attacking the chest with churning, criss-cross punching, palms down—or standing up in the stirrups to bash bosom with curling uppercuts. Debbe stood up and ransacked from bell to bell—she;’s stunned at the sheer ferocity of the snarling blonde this round.

R6,7: Brittany’s made her decision—go at Debbe hard, come what may. Dunning standing and brawling back, but Daniel’s handspeed giving the brunette problems. Debbe routinely getting eaten to the punch—head jerking back from a right, then catching a hook on the chin, then a clanging right on the eyebrow—Deb leaning away, getting touched, unable to get her bearings. Meanwhile—Daniel growing in confidence, punching non-stop, jumping at Debbe, lumping up the Stunning One’s beautiful face with crisp aggression. Whenever Deb wraps around Daniel’s head and shoulders—blonde ducks down and tears at the waistline with both hands, tattooing Debs flat belly and strong ribs with churning lather. Debbe drops both rounds—Brittany draws even on the cards after 7.

R8: Dunning ups the tempo, drops her hands, giving Brittany her chin, but pulling lanky haymakers into the blonde’s tight body, backing her up. Brittany wilting under the increased heat, but showing heady defence—often ducking low to make Debbe miss over the top, then sidestepping easy ‘round the flank. Round goes as a draw—Debbe coming forward but confounded by Daniel’s balanced skills.

R9: Debbe marching on Daniel, swinging from the hips—Brittany trying to set and tap that wide open chin, but the cost is too high. Daniel on the run, bailing out pillar to post. End of the first minute—Brittany slips a sweeping right, tries to counter back with a hook but gets beat a hook on the chops. Game over: Daniel out on her feet, goes limps, imploding straight down, then sprawling pretty on her back as Dunning struts away, blowing off her smoking left mitt. KO9 Debbe D.

After: Daniel in a perfect starfish on her back, out for many moments—replays of the knockdown drawing fearful squeals and wild applause from appreciative audience. Debbe doing good work on Krusher women in the tournament—she sends Theron to the emergency ward, hits Daniel about as hard as she’s ever been stoked—and Double D’s not done. Woozy Brittany barely recovers on her stool when DD scoops her up grinning, pulls her around for her just desserts. Dunning with a smelling salt capsule in her free hand, holding it under Daniel’s nose and getting predictable writhing protestation—brunette having fun with a girl who would have done worse if the shoe were on the other foot.
