Before: Bout takes on a pseudo grudge match air as Milano degrades Twain for her association with Fishel, while Shania overtly looking for revenge for Milano’s wipe out of Dani earlier this year. Classic style contrast with Milano probably needing the knockout to win, and Twain needing to box to a decision. Alyssa in her soaking wet white tankini, Shania with the long curly hair look, pink track two-piece provides by Adidas.

During R1-2: Twain standing toe to toe with Alyssa in fiery exchanges throughout the early rounds. Despite throwing and landing approximately equal numbers of punches, Milano hitting harder, jolting Twain moving her back, and finishing the rounds with Shania looking defensive on the ropes. Twain laying in with Milano as both girls fight like heavy weight, rubbing heads and shoulders on the inside with snapping off short swiping blows to the midsection or jaw, it’s not Shania’s fight--both rounds to Milano.

R3: Twain changing gears, steps to the right, rolling her fists as she walks, stopping to pop the combination, then stepping back out at angle. Fight gets easy as Twain works Milano with a routine jab on the teeth, left hook to the breasts, doubled up a left hook to the belly and a chopping right hand off the face before turning Milano and opening a new angle.

R4: Shania fighting loose, relaxed, scrapes her jab across and under Milano’s chin, leaving the left on the brunette’s face, then scorching the jaw with a crisp wide right. Milano hurt early, doing a little stutter step, but Alyssa crosses her arms, wades inside and owns Shania’s rib cage for the rest of the round. Goes as a draw as both women prove a point.

R5: Milano working with wide lefts and rights to Shania’s taut midsection. But Twain in a boxing groove. Twain stepping to the right, letting her hands go, then moving before Alyssa can get off. Round ends as Shania bangs away with a series of swatting left/rights up around Alyssa’s ears, then doubles the left hook to knock Milano’s mouthpiece out at the bell. Milano hurt, discouraged as she wobbles back to her corner.

R6: Shania working Alyssa’s breast with biting left uppercuts, just snapping off the right punch in short arcs. Milano starting to cover up more--Twain working the left hand all up and down the brunette’s right side and swatting the jaw/ear at will.

R7: Alyssa still scoring the odd single roundhouse to Twain’s body, but the footwork and combination punching is keeping the little powerhouse under wraps. Twain using a lead right to the face to set up the catspaw double left hook, has Milano staring in pain from several sharp bursts.

R8: Twain’s best round sees her break Alyssa down with shoe shining combinations across the face as Milano barges in, then picking Alyssa apart with precision bombs. Picking Milano up with the short right uppercut, Twain has Alyssa groggy midway through the round, and as the dazed little slugger wanders forward, a dazzling series of clouting lefts and rights to the moth and face leaves Alyssa in tatters. Milano battered senseless, continues to follow Twain around the ring as Shania bounces out of range, leaving a calling card jab on Milano’s lips.

R9: Twain positively swaggering, touching Milano’s face with the jab to get her to cover up, then stepping into the smacking rising left to stomach that has Alyssa gurgling. Twain feasting on Milano’s body, punching around the girl’s elbows as Alyssa leans forward, arms crossed, desperately trying to ward punches. Shania works and gets out, always escaping behind a left hand into Alyssa’s mouth before Milano can pull the trigger.

R10: Shania sticking and moving this round, but Milano mounts a charge midway through, Banging Twain’s flanks, Alyssa is able to straighten up out of her crouch to bounce hard right uppercuts off Shania’s chiseled abs. Twain rights the ship in the final minute, blistering Alyssa with a sizzling left/right/left across the chops to leave Milano wobbly at center ring, then going to town on Alyssa’s puffy eye with curling right hands over the top to the bell. Twain with an extra left hook on the mouth after the round ends punctuates a tough one-sided boxing lesson for Alyssa Milano. Unanimous duke Shania T.

After: Twain shakes off a slow start and simply shows too much variety for Milano to answer. Alyssa walked into a blizzard and except for isolated moments of activity, simply couldn’t bring her big guns to bear. Twain putting together fight winning combinations just got stronger as the fight went on, reducing Milano to a teary-eyed wreck by the final bell.
