Training Camp Scuffle

Before: Bout takes place during training for alt’s upcoming battle with Theron. Bad blood from the old days resurfaces with Carol, unable to forget or forgive that Brinkley, along with Ireland, Crawford and others essentially battered Carol into retirement at one point. Sparring sessions between the two eventually heat up into full scale wars, and private bout is arranged--no head gear, regulation gloves, Girls both much heavier and stronger than in their primes--Christie in yellow sports bra, royal blue stretch pants to the ankle. Carol in black sports bra, red adidas terrycloth trunks.

During R1: Girls immediately body up and start wrestling for position on the inside, each trying in to establish her upper body strength. Action consists of grappling and blocking inside, pushing to get off hard, digging uppercuts to the midriff. Heads in close, brawny shoulders already sweating with effort--and Alt proves dominant. By the final minute, she has Christie’s back to the ropes, and is pounding the blonde with right hands up underneath the breasts. Brinkley with a cheap shot after the bell, but Alt backs away the cooler head.

R2: Girls fall in together and Alt bangs a hard right hand off Christie’s temple on the way in. Cheek to cheek, it’s hard to tell that Brinkley’s hurt, but she looks limp, and Alt begins to bang the blonde backwards with clubbing lefts and rights. With Brinkley grimacing, back to the ropes, Alt mauls her, pushing the blonde’s biceps back, then chopping in with a tight right hand, or rising left uppercut, Brinkley getting smashed up, laying in with Alt, allowing herself to be shoved and propped up for punishment. Carol keeping up the beat, using her weight on Christie and a smashing right on the face finally has Brinkley out on her feet, Alt eating it up, lifts short left and right uppercuts from underneath as Christie slumps forward, pulping Brinkley’s breasts and face. Finally Carol steps back and Christie crashes face first to the canvas, unable to continue. Startling KO2 Carol Alt.

After: Brinkley cashes out early, collects her sparring pay and leaves camp that afternoon. Alt buoyed by the personally significant victory goes in to batter her sparring partners en route to a good showing against Theron.
