Most tense of the first round bouts—neither girl anxious for a 3^rd bout with the other off the savager of the first two—but the rubber is imposed on them by the tournament.

First half, Doig standing in the pocket and countering—dropping Pressly in the fifth off a sweet slip-and-counter hook to stalemate the first half. Second half, Lexa opens it up, takes the fight to Jaime and pretty much scours the blonde’s ribs and chest along the ropes to take 4 of the remaining 5 heats. Pressly outworked, blubbery in defeat—pre-tournament favourite bounced in the first round by a hated rival.
