Before: Adriana is the only member of the original O&E roster still active and her record shows why. Three Fights of the Year. Queen of the Ice Hotel as an independent, Two more times with the Stable. Ending Charlize Theron’s reign as Mistress of the Body Saddle. And O&E’s only Lightweight title, making her the only choice to be the Headliner for this Afternoon’s events.

Since first facing Eiza Gonzalez in 2019, Emily Didonato has been the most prolific opponent of the O&E Tiffanies, by now the only fighter to have beaten them all. Bouncing off of an unsuccessful Lightweight title challenge, Dido is looking to claim a quality scalp to keep herself in contention.

Ringposts in sand setup. Adriana in dark maroon bikini with ring connections; hair damp and loose; black gloves. Emily in off-white bikini with silky satin finish; white gloves; hair damp and loose.

R1: Nothing fancy when in-fighters meet - it's mouth on shoulder slugging midring at a brisk pace. Edge goes to Emily: she's nudging and sidestepping around Adriana while keeping in contact, opening up angles for extra punches inside. Didonato more varied with her attack, curling in uppercuts from outside Lima's shoulders, hooks upstairs and down, and a jamming right hand over protective left shoulder. Adriana just moving her hands, clubbing torso with determined bursts - gets herself outsmarted and therefore outworked this round.

R2: More crowd pleasing back and forth - Adriana getting after Emily with a purpose this round. Exchanges usually punctuated with a stuffing Lima right or left tough to the lower belly on Dido - round progresses – Goshen-girl's breaking down, wheezing upon contact, not punching back with as much abandon. Adriana placing shots into Emily’s belly, but also scrubbing away with bashing combinations - Brazilian's busier AND harder this round.

R3: Adriana sitting in the ropes more often - she's fighting hard, gritting her teeth and lashing away, but Emily's clearly got the edge in handspeed, usually has the better position just off center inside, and she's hurting Lima at the trunk line. Adriana open mouthed, clinching for breaks occasionally - trying to slow the action down.

R4 : Adriana knows all the tricks - Emily looks to clinch, Brazilian butts her with a shoulder in the mouth, then rocks her with the stubby lead right as Didonato stumbles back. Lima punishing Emily with a piston jab this round, working Goshen-girl from outside as Dido covers up, turns to stay square on the circling Lima. Emily avoids the shutout late with some savage straight right hands and left hooks to Adriana's body - Brazilian hanging on at the bell with a pained look.

R5: BLISTERING two way trade - brunettes taking it to one another's body with savage, reefing hooks, shouldering each other back, stepping each other down. Heartless hoisting body shots lick back and forth - gloves bouncing off taut bellies, pounding into shiny sides - it's breathtaking non stop hurting. Down the stretch, Emily gets to Adriana: a little left uppercut through the middle sets up a digging left hook to the liver that has Lima sagging, not punching. Didonato's eyes light up - she digs again to the liver, then comes up through the middle with the curling left uppercut - Adriana takes off her face and dreamily stumbles back, sitting into the ropes rather than going down. Emily pouring on with vicious batting rights and lefts to her girl's aching flanks - Lima grimacing, mincing as she walks back to her corner during the break.

R6: Adriana sucks it up, stands her ground and the best two way licking of the fight occurs this round. Girls grinding foreheads inside, taking turns in lashing bursts to breasts and bellies, muscling each other back a step for momentary glory, then retreating as the other gets the upperhand. Lima beating Didonato to hooks on the chin, has her startled, polishes her up with a fine chopping right and finishing left on the chin to take the points.

R7: Now Emily wants it more. Workaholic brunettes bump and grind midring, but Didonato's headier attack proves decisive. Flurry of give and take usually punctuated by a single thick left hand below the navel on Lima - she's gasping from these shots, getting wobbly butt, giving ground. Hurting Adriana downstairs enables the uppercut - Emily starting to swivel the head, forces Brazilian glassy eyed to the ropes. Still, Lima won't cave - final minute is vicious Last-Woman-Standing stuff - girls pushing and straining to land the last punch as the ref pries 'em apart at the bell.

R8: Adriana wading into Emily with wide right to the ribs, then a gouging left hook to sternum, backing her up. Didonato grimacing, stepping back in good order, walking Lima in, hooking her breasts, then her chin in rapid fire sequence. Emily keeping elbow in tight, rolling in the pocket as rangy Adriana wraps haymakers around younger fighter’s shoulders: Dido able to work inside Lima's reach, fitting her for tidy little uppercuts to chin. Emily rolling and punching in rhythm, just getting touches...ADRIANA GOES WOBBLY BUTT! ON COMES DIDO! Emily giving Adriana a taste of her own medicine, squaring away to hook the gut, loosening her up in the pocket. Lima stunned, sitting in ropes, trying to cover up earmuff as she stoops forward...Didonato heartless, whacking the girl a chopping right behind left elbow, then a hacking left behind right elbow; short right uppercut to breasts; short left dip-and-rip uppercut to sternum underneath; clipping right uppercut off the overhanging face and DOWN GOES LIMA! Adriana bellying in - she's a tragic sight trying to push herself off her chest, eyes all glassy and forlorn. She's up at 11, swaying back into ropes all buzzed and helpless as ref hugs her to safety. KO8 in last-woman-standing fashion, Emily Didonato.

After: Lima and Didonato staggering around, faces all busted up, legs shaking: fighters left chunks of themselves in the ring tonight that they may never get back. "It was everything I hoped it could be," gushes an enthused Skip Tracy in postfight. "They dug down and fought like hall of famers - hopefully not for the last time!"
