FREYA ALLEN VS DANIELLE ROSE RUSSELL

Writing: Archer Results: Lookout

Freya: 19 YO, 5’3 ½ (1.61 m), 1-0-0, FCBA since 2020, Angels of Destruction

Danielle: 21 YO, 5’3 (1.60 m), 5-6-0, 5 KO since 2019 Foxfire Boxing

Before:

Foxfire’s Dani R (The CW series LEGACIES) now in her second year of FCBA action meets The Angels of Destruction’s Freya Allen (The Netflix series THE WITCHER) in Freya’s second FBA fight. The two young fighters eye each other warily.

“How is the FCBA treating you?” DRR finally ventures.

“Can’t complain, I knocked out Emma Stone in my first fight. How are you finding the FCBA? I understand you’ve been here two years now,” Freya cautiously replies.

“Oh, it could be better. I’m 5-6 in 11 fights, but I am hoping this fight will allow me to finish my second year at .500,” Dani blurts out.

“Well, I regret to say I cannot cooperate on that project. I have my unbeaten streak to think of since I’d 2-0 if I can beat you,” Freya replies cheerfully.

“That second win can take a while. I won my first fight, then had to wait until my fourth to get the second win,” Dani said, trying to sound like a seasoned veteran.

“I appreciate the caution, but I think I will just go straight ahead and make it two in a row,” Freya said with a smile. “I do understand where you are coming from. It must be disheartening to be 1-2 with time running out on the year.”

“No, it just motivates me to want to win this. So, nothing personal, but I really want a victory,” Dani said frankly.

“As do I. I guess we’ll see who gets her Christmas wish and who gets coal in her stocking,” Freya said.

Danielle studied the young blonde and said: “Make it a good fight. The win is always sweeter when you get it against a good opponent.”

“Oh, I shall do my best, rest assured of that,” said Freya.

Presser something of a disappointment for this hoping for a catfight to break out, but Feya and DRR actually seem to like each other, Cynics think that will last until they start punching each other in the face! Come Fight Night, the two fighters make their entrances, enter the ring and doff their robes.

Freya comes to the ring in a black one piece swimsuit of shimmery material. She has white gloves and boots with black laces. Blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Danielle is in a shimmery dark red one piece swimsuit with black gloves and boots with dark red laces. Her auburn hair is pulled back in a ponytail.

Both trying to look sober and serious, but can be seen checking each other out as the referee drones through the ring instructions. Then the instructions are done. Polite gloves tap and the two head for their respective corners. The bell rings…

R1: Danielle out quickly strikes at Freya with rapid-fire punches to the head that disrupts Freya’s advance. Freya falling back to regroup, but Dani keeping on the pressure. Freya pummeled to the breast, ribs and then down into her stomach. Freya managing to get her jab going late, smacking DRR in the mouth and then the breasts. Dani then brings solid right into Freya’s jaw and this sends a quiver down Freya’s legs. Couple of solid hooks to the and Dani has Freya falling back. Freya then makes a stand with her jab and stalls Dani’s attack. To the circle each other exchanging punches to the bell. First rounds goes wide to Dani Russell.

R2: Freya now responding to Dani’s open offensive by moving quickly to the attack in R2. Freya getting to DRR’s jaw and chin early. Dani banged around and forced to cover up. Then Freya stuffs hooks into Dani’s stomach, pounds her rib cage and drives straight rights and lefts into Dani’s impressive rack. Dani not liking this one bit, she rallies with a solid right to Freya’s chin to stagger the blonde and then gives Freya’s body a thrashing series of punches. Freya not backing down, she and Dani move in close, elbows moving in and ut like piston rods as they pump leather into each other’s body. Neither fighter wants to give way and they brace their legs to add extra punching power. Then Freya slips a sudden uppercut in under Dani’s chin and Dani lurches back. Freya pounds Dani to the body, but Dani then rallies with body punching of her own. Bell ends the exchange and the two step away breathing hard as the seat drips from their faces. Close round, but the judges decide Freya has edge Dani out.

R3: Danielle and Freya maneuver around each other in the center of the ring as R3 gets going. Both firing out probing punches as they look for weak points. Then Dani seems to find one and she is able to drive a stabbing right against Freya’s right cheekbone. Freya stung, tries to swing back with a right aimed at Dani’s head, but DRR ducks under it and pops Freya smashing blow to the chin. Freya’s legs are buckling and she falls back. Dani advances firing away head and body to herd the dazed newcomer into the ropes. Freya trying to move around Dani to avoid getting pinned on the strands, but she is blocked each time she tries. Then Dani gut punches her against the ropes all hunched up and gasping. However, Dani runs out of time just as she is starting to work the trapped Freya over to the body, Still, DRR has won the round wide.

R4: Freya more defensive as this round opens. She’s not giving Dani any openings as they circle around each other. Dani pressing forward, trying to break through Freya’s high guard, but she can’t get at much of the blonde’s head or face. Dani then goes to the body. This immediately draws body punching from Freya and the two once again battle it out to the body toe to toe. Very exciting to watch these young fighters strive dominate each other. Freya starts to get a little more extra in the hooks she’s using to dig deep into Dani’s midsection. Dani being slowly driven back and gasping for air as Freya seems to be knocking the air out of her. Rund ends in another close, but hard won round for Freya Allen.

R5: DRR again goes after Freya to the head in early action. This time she is able to swivel the blonde’s head with crunching rights and lefts to the jaw. Freya in retreat on shaking legs as Dani tries to herd her into the ropes. Freya trying to avoid this and proves to be an elusive quarry. Dani keeps trying and finally gets the ring cut off on Freya. Freya now punched into the ropes where she goes face in gloves and lets DRR bang away at her to the body. Dani firing rights and lefts in a crisscrossing fashion as Freya’s torso shudders under the impacts. Yet Freya is hanging in there and stays on her feet until the bell. Dani Russell wins round wide and leaves Freya Allen quivering from all the body punching, but still walking back on her own power.

R6: Danielle eager to pick up where she left off and moves quickly to the attack, but Freya has recovered enough to move out quickly herself. As Dani comes at her, Freya lands power punches to the chin that stagger Dani. Then Freya unleashes the ol’ one-two that socks Dani in the jaw with knee buckling impact. Freya sensing the opportunity goes after Dani’s body and pounds her back towards the ropes. Dani struggling to counter this leather storm takes another right to the side of the head that sends her slamming sideways into the ropes. Freya pounds Dani on her open left side AND DANI SINKS TO HER KNEES! Freya steps away and heads for the neutral corner. Dani slumps forward onto all fours, then settles down under the bottom rope with her cheek against the canvas. The referee is counting. Dani starts to revive. She pushes herself to her knees and then grabs the ropes to try to hoist herself up, but she can’t get her body to move fast enough.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER: FREYA ALLEN DEFEATS DANIELLE ROSE RUSSELL KO6

Dani, too late, stands erect and slams the top rope in frustration. She looks over to Freya Allen happily waving to the cheering crowd. Dani starts towards her corner and Freya comes over, Freta puts her arm around Dani.

“Oh, you want to Walk me?” Dani asks wearily. “Just give a minute.”

“No, no, none of that—at least not tonight. Just wanted to thank you for the good fight. You really challenged me and I appreciate it,” Freya sai.

“Oh, hey all part of the Dani Rose Russell Rookie Service,” Dani said with a tired smile. “You were pretty hard on me, too.”

“Yes, but I actually like you. Sorry, I had to beat you, but that’s part of the sport, isn’t it?”

“Certainly is, but don’t be sorry, Enjoy your second win. Who knows when you’ll get your third,” Dani told her.

“I will do my best to make it as soon as possible. I hope you have a good next year—as long as you’re not beating me in the process,” Freya said cheerfully.

“I can’t promise that won’t happen, but see you in the ring next time. Now I really need to get a shower and a massage. I’m tired,” Dani said.

“As a matter of fact, those excellent ideas. Thank you again and I look forward to our next meeting,” Freya said and after a hug, departed for her own corner.

A very good bout between young fighters. Freya Allen wins her second victory in as many fights, The effort showed not only Freya’s punching power, but her ability to take punching as well. Danielle Rose Russell had a disappointing opening, Several times she tried to take Freya down on the ropes, but could not do it and then fell victim to same tactic when Freya trapped her on the strands. Fans can only hope for DRR to bounce back quickly from this setback. Meanwhile fans of Freya Allen are looking forward to what the rookie can do on her third time out.
