Before: English crumpet being served up to American bully—at least on the surface. Messenger probably deserves more respect, but against Jamie she’s not getting it—Luner just looking to keep busy, beat up a beautiful blonde, and get back in the hunt. Jamie in black Melrose Place bra and panties, Messenger in white bra and panties.

During R1: Jamie Luner concentrating in the body early, bending her lean torso into cruel lefts and rights to bite at Melinda’s sides. Messenger soaking it up well, but in the final minute, harsh, pounding blows take their toll, and Melinda crumples to her ropes with a grimace. Jamie working her over with heavy, snatching single shots, methodically taking her time to get good leverage on every punch as Melinda breaks down.

R2: Jamie careless, talking into Melinda to feast on that tummy, and a fine counter right hand ion the jaw puts Luner on all fours for a flash knockdown. Jamie embarrassed, but rushes into more of the same, and Luner’s knees start to buckle as Melinda tags her repeatedly with curling rights on the chin. Messenger stepping back with Luner crowding her, walking Jamie into left and right uppercuts between Luner’s tight guard, and Jamie’s not getting off. Jamie hiding behind her gloves, looks like she’s fighting hurt and doesn’t have her legs.

R3: Jamie still investing in body shots, touching and poking with the left jab, then stepping in to bite down on the hook to the waist. Melinda still taking a good shot, trying to time Luner and counter with rights on the chin, but Jamie a little too strong this round.

R4: Jamie up on her toes, circles, slicing the jab, putting the right hand on top, and the fight gets easy as Melinda starts to get outclassed, Jamie wheeling, hooks off the jab, getting after that tummy with spanking shots, then bending into chopping right hands over Melinda’s guard to swivel Messenger’s head. Messenger wobbled on several occasions, looks to be wearing down under heavy leather this round.

R5: Spirited two way slugging erupts as messenger gets Jamie’s attention with a jamming lead right hand, left hook combination, nearly sitting the redhead down to open. Luner roaring back, ripping left/rights to the body, then straightening to put a short right uppercut into messenger’s teeth. Melinda busted up, reels to the ropes, and is clearly hurt, just covering up, bobbing at the waist and trying to survive the round as Luner slashes away with brisk shoeshining action to the bell.

R6: All Jamie Luner as the speed, strength, and size start to distance from her blonde. Messenger’s defense starting to shred—she’s giving up spanking shots off her face and just staring back in return. Jamie predatory, stepping around Melinda, always probing and testing for weakness, then pouncing when Messenger relaxes. Shutout for Luner as she easily boxes Messenger’s ears this round, sending the blonde back to her corner discouraged, and worn.

R7: Luner happily pumping gaudy double left uppercuts into Melinda’s stomach, putting a sick look of hurt on the blonde’s face, and forcing her into dismal retreat. Messenger sees the openings, but can’t pull the trigger as she is really taking a pounding. Luner sees her foe hurt to the  body, and lunges in with straight right hands to the solar plexus, wide lefts to the liver as Melinda’s legs buckle, eyes well up, and elbows are pulled in tight to defend.

R8: Jamie out quickly again, steering Melinda with maybe the best jab in the game, hooking off it, and building up to slashing 3 punch combinations that have Messenger crouching forward, taking punches, Jamie digging at the blonde’s body, then working her way to the face, has her way to the final minute. Late in the round, both girls drive in with right hands, and Messenger’s bounces sharply off Luner’s chin, putting wobble in those black trunks as Jamie stands startled for a moment. Messenger steps in, shouldering Luner onto her heels, then snaps a vicious hook across Jamie’s teeth, spinning her head and locking Luner’s legs. Messenger brawling now, pushing and propping Luner up, then clubbing Red with lefts and rights to the face, driving her the length of the ring to the ropes. All Messenger late—she pushes Jamie by her biceps, then clouts the redhead across the breasts and face with back and forth lefts and rights. Luner staring, not punching back AND THE REF STEPS IN!! Shocking stoppage leaves Jamie shattered. TKO8 Melinda Messenger.

After: Huge upset as Messenger comes from rounds down to batter Luner into submission. Big red never so humbled in her entire career, can offer no explanation. Melinda showing good right hand power, plenty of guts, and a good finishing kick, turns Jamie into the stepping stone on the night.
