Before: Truly international bout as the Serbian Bo Krsmanovic takes on the Nambian (of Dutch descent) Behati Prinsloo in a USA venue. Long, lean, models have not fought before, but they seem to eager to have at one another.

Says Bojana: “When you are model you have to ‘fight’ for every job. That’s why so many of find boxing appealing—you actually get to physically fight to win what you want. In my case it is to be good fighter and a credit to my Puncher team. Those girls have been so nice and supportive especially when my fights didn’t go so well. I want to win and make them proud of me.”

Says Behati: “I have a new management in Fates Boxing. I want to show them with every fight I win that they made the right choice in adding me to their roster. Bojana is right about models being fiercely competitive and I am no exception. I may be lean, but I am mean when comes to throwing a punch that hurts my opponent. I expect to see no mercy for either us in this fight!”

“Fine with me,” says Bo as she had Behati exchange fierce glares.

Fight night sees Bo head to the ring with trainer Nia Peeples with stablemates Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell on hand as escorts. Bo removes her robe to reveal she is wearing a blue and white striped string bikini with white gloves and light blue ankle boots. Her hair is pulled back in into a battle braid down her back.

Behati Prinscloo comes to the ring with her trainer. She removes her robe to reveal an elegant black bikini with black gloves and ankle boots. Her hair is in a simple ponytail.

Ring instructions proceed briskly. Bo and Behati eyeing each other closely, but remain in control. It is clear they want to get to boxing as promptly as possible. Ring instructions are completed. Gloves are tap and fighters sent to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Behati showing aggression early by moving quickly out of her corner and firing long range shots as she circles a more cautious Bo. Bo gets banged to the head which has her ducking and then Behati takes aim on that long vulnerable torso. Leather starts smacking hard against Bo’s ribs and abs. Then Bo is jabbing back with vigor as Behati tries to move in closer. Behati’s attack stalls and then Bo moves forward. She catches Behati with a solid right to the mouth and then a left to clip her chin. Behati’s long legs tremble and she pulls back. Bo advances now working Behatil’s chest. Behati not caring to have her breasts treated like this, strikes back at Bo’s rack and there is nice exchange of jugg shots. Then Bo gets her right hook into Behati’s stomach and folds her forward with a gurgle of pain. Bo smacks Behati to the cheekbones with rights and lefts. Behati digs in behind a jab that smacks Bo in the mouth and splits her lower lip. Bo not retreating despite trickle of blood down her chin. Rapid punching in close to the chest by both fighters until the bell rings. Hard fought, close round, but the judges give it to Bo.

R2: Bo and Behati waste no time in getting to mid-ring to start punching. They ae circling, bobbing up and down, trying to find a weakness to drive in a solid punch. Behati finds a gap in Bo’s defenses and drives a hard left into her jaw. Bo knocked off balance and Behati is quick to fire in more punches that bust up Bo’s face. Bo trying to regroup, protects her face, but now long-armed hooks are ripping into her belly and then up into her breasts. Bo trying to fight back, finally gets her jab going and drives Behati back with solid punches to Behahti’s mouth and nose. Behati recovers and comes back in. Now they are back to close0in body pounding action with their arms moving like piston rods. Behati seems to get more power into her punches as Bo stubbornly gives ground to the bell. Another close round, but this one goes to Behati.

R3: Bo responds to Behati’s win with a determined offensive as the new round gets going. Bo stunning Behati early with a lunging long-range right to the chin. Then a left to the chin. Behati rocked on her long stems and stumbles back in obvious confusion, Bo now firing into the midsection of the blonde, doubling her up as she struggles to stay on her feet. Bo doing a nice job of cutting off the ring and then punching Behati back into the ropes. Behati takes a left to the jaw which slams her sideways into the strands. Bo pounding away at Behati’s left side as the blonde’s right side is pressed against the ropes. Behati sliding along the ropes, trying to escape, but finding no way out. She finally makes a desperate lunge and wraps Bo up in a clinch. The referee breaks it up, but Behati is able to scramble away before Bo can get her back on the ropes. Round ends with Bo on the attack and she wins the round by a wide margin.

R4: Bo and Behati start dueling with long range shots as soon as they can get in range. Behati able to give Bo a bell-ringing hard right to the side of the head that has the brunette swaying as she staggers away. Behati moves swiftly to overtake the stunned Bo and then unleashes a barrage of punches that strike at head and body as Bo is sluggish in countering these quick blows. Bo taking quick, jolting shots to the jaw that have her covering up, trying to protect her head. Behati going to the body now, pounding the long, vulnerable shits with range from breast at to belly and back again. Bo hunched up and shuddering under the attack, does get out a few good defensive jabs, but these only temporarily discourage Behati who find resumes the body attack. Bell ends the round and Behati takes it wide. Bo looking quite stiff and achy as she walked slowly to her corner. Behati walking firmly with a confident smile.

R5: Behati driving hard on Bo as the new round gets started. She looks to be trying to drive Bo into the ropes. Bo fighting back with string counters as she resists the Behati push. Behati putting more and more intensity into her punches. She;s swabbing Bo’s body with raking punches to the breasts and deep hooks to the belly and ribs. Bo fighting back with jabs to the head and breasts. Behati ducking down from the counters from her head now comes popping up with a right uppercut into Bo’s chin. Bo’s head snaps back then hook to the belly doubles her up and a left to the chin spills her into the ropes. Bo fights back fiercely as Behati seeks to pound her against the ropes, Turns into a much closer battle than might have been expected with one fighter against the ropes. Behati clouts Bo on the side of the head late which causes Bo to sag back against the strands, but before Behati can try to take Bo down, the bell sounds. Behati looks annoyed as she steps back Bo looking stunned as she makes her way to her stool, but she put up such a good defensive fight that Behati has only one the round by a narrow margin.

R6: PLP corner working hard to get Bo ready for new round. Behati looking eager as she sits on her stool. “I have her now,” she heard to tell trainer. “She’s going down.” “Don’t get careless, watch your defense,” the veteran trainer warns. Behati just smiles and nods, then focuses her attention on the Bo. Bo looks back—with defiance. Bell soon rings and the new round begins.

Behati wasting no time trying to get in a good head shot to take Bo down, but Bo has her dukes up and is blocking these efforts. Behati then moves in close and tries to shake Bo up with quick flurry of belly hooks. Bo hunching up and Behati now swings for the head, but Bo dodges the incoming right blockbusters and brings a sudden lightning right up and under Behati’s chin. BANG! Perfect right uppie to the chin stands Behati up on her toes as her head snaps back and her arms drop to her sides. Bo leaping forward bringing smashing rights and lefts into wide-open jaw. The blonde’s head is snapped from side to side and she starts to topple backwards. Out flashes Bo’s right uppercut to come crashing home under Behati’s chin. BEHATI LIFTED OFF HER FEET AND SENT CRASHING TO THE CANVAS! Crowd roars as Behati skids to a stop, legs out straight, arms at her sides and her eyes tightly closed. Bo quick to the neutral corner and watches anxiously as the referee starts to count. Behati does start to stir and she struggles to sit up, but then topples over onto her side.

“NINE!...TEN…YOU’RE OUT!” comes the cry.

THE WINNER BO KRSMANOVIC DEFEATS BEHATI PRINSLOO (KO6)

After: Bo walks the ring like a newly crowned pageant queen. Waving to the crowd and stopping to pose for photos. Trooian Bellisario and Shay MItchell are on hand to congratulate their stablemate on her win. Then Bo stops by the Fates Boxing corner to make sure Behati Prinsloo is all right and even gives her a hug.

“It feels so good to win,” Bo subsequently tells the press. “Behati Prinsloo gave me a lot of trouble at times, but she couldn’t take me down. I recovered and waited for my chance. When it came I struck and she went down. Wasn’t that a great knockdown? I hope someone got a good shot of her in midair. I always wanted to do that and now I have. If I can find the right photo maybe I’ll have it made into a poster and hang in in the Puncher locker room! Oh, I feel so wonderful!”

As for Behati Prinsloo she tells the press: “I let this fight get away from me. I know I was dominating her, but I wasn’t as dominate as I thought. I got sloppy and I see now you can’t do that with Bo Krsmanovic. Make a mistake and she’ll make you pay for it. It was a painful lesson to learn but I have learned it. I will do much better next time!”

Interesting contest between two welters with nearly 50-50 records. They both needed a win and Bo Krsmanovic got it. She could very easily have been in big trouble after R5, but she came back and knocked Behati Prinsloo out. A painful loss for Behati she did well at times in this fight, but ended up the one on the canvas as the fight ended. She says she has learned from this loss and one certainly hopes that will be the case. Her next fight could show where she is headed: up or down. Bo Krsmanovic’s next fight is important too. It was good for her to win this fight, but she needs to show she can be a consistent winner so that next fight with be important to her as well.
