Olivia Holt versus Cierra Ramirez

Before: Heavy burden on Latina Knockouts first challenger tonight, but so far she’s bearing up under it. “Olivia’s a fast handed pressure fighter, just like me. We’re not going to have a hard time finding each other, and when we do, well, I’ve got a lot more riding on this fight than she does!”

Olivia the heavy favorite going into this fight, but she of all people knows what that’s worth. “People said I didn’t belong in the ring with ‘Nessa and Mishy. I proved them wrong then. The same people also said Nat didn’t belong in the ring with me last year. She definitely proved them wrong that night. The only fighter who’s gotten a chance at the belts this year who didn’t deserve it was Campbell. Don’t worry folks, you’re gonna see a real title fight tonight!”

R1: Little women step-to, get to choppin'. Cierra elbows in, hands up - dipping side to side with short, hacking strokes from either hand, beating Olivia’s head&shoulders. Holt trying the left uppercut; bending into short, hacking rights to head - both women bouncing hard punches off the other. Fighters typically falling in after exchanging a few blockbusters - Cierra riding her left hand behind Olivia's head, tugging her in close for ref's break. Down the stretch, Ramirez using that left hand head-control technique when Holt shocks the chalenger a ripping right across the belly, doubling it into a vicious right uppercut: Cierra's right leg swings out to the side, causing her to stagger backwards a couple of steps, Olivia able to step-in a series of clubbing hook across chops to take the round late.

R2: Same bashing give-and-take early - both women getting their backs into brutal, compact power shots from either side. Cierra changing tack midway through - punching her jab to Olivia's face to prep; taking a little counter-clockwise step; jabbing again to make sure, then dropping in the hot right cross. Holt getting tagged as she's turning-with, Ramirez able to use angles, get some murderous looks at blonde chin, Olivia’s legs passing a series of tests, though the champ's wobbly-butt at bell.

R3: Cierra jabbing from her crouch, hopping in with deceptive quickness: she's gripping-up with Olivia's arms, forcing her into a shuffling, hold-and-hit routine. Holt competitive - taking her turns pushing Ramirez around; short chopping blows scoring both ways, but the challenger's fully committed to this kind of fight. Where Olivia will hang on for ref's breaks, Cierra's actively looking to hold-and-hit - and when she's not doing that - she's putting her left shoulder into it and walking Holt around. Olivia pushed into ropes at times, but too strong to be held down, fighters tumble along the cables, reversing positions, taking turns chucking right hands into offending bellies from the top position, while left hands hold opposing right bicep. Ref IS issuing breaks, but Cierra pretty cute with her approaches: quick jabs to Holt's eyeline making the Champ blink just long enough for Ramirez to step-in and wrap up again.

R4: Grim, grinding attrition, Cierra on Olivia. Keeping the fight at close-quarters - often cheek to cheek or mouth-on-shoulder - backsides and strong legs methodically straining against the power of the other. Ramirez proving to be a master in the clinch - pulling and pushing Holt off balance, then walking her; left hand gripping inner-elbow while the right chops at increasingly bruised jaw, or delivers brutal uppercuts to chin. Cierra also effective holding Olivia's left bicep in right hand while batting stiff, almost straight-arm left hooks up and in to breadbasket: Champ doubling-up, face grimacing as she's forced to hang on. All Ramirez until late - after a ref's break creates daylight between fighters, challeneger attempts to jump in yet again, but gets CRACKED a short right to chin en-route! CIERRA’S ROCKED! Challenger's legs fail, nearly pitching her to canvas...she rights herself, reaching to clinch, but takes another right to chin and a left to left cheek as she's sputtering past Olivia's left flank. Bell sounds before Holt can consolidate, but it's enough to steal the round, and put a ferocious look in both fighter’s eyes as this fight stays close!

R5: Both fighters looking a little shopworn free-for-all slugging midring in a bid to claim the initiative. Girls dipping side to side, pulling haymakers onto one another: Olivia eats a monster right upside the head and THERE GO HER LEGS! Holt’s cheerleader legs stamp all buzzed and jangly, but they keep her up: Ramirez quick to hook at gut, bunching her blonde up with a groan! More hooks for Olivia's right side as she stoops forward in earmuff while Cierra looms above, withering blasts guide the Champ to a seat on the canvas. Holt blinking, hurt; pushes herself up to beat the count.

Ramirez lunges in, jams left shoulder into Olivia's tits to press her deep to ropes while looping right arm over blonde's left. Moment of pushing and jostling, then Cierra's working hold-and-hit hooks, beating Holt in her stomach, then clouting her face, all the while pinning her down on ropes. Olivia dazed and taking: she's a confused beauty, absorbing punishment, unable to get her weight forward or get out from underneath. Ref finally moves in to break - warning Ramirez for holding and hitting: challenger immediately wading back in to continue her bombardment. Gut check for Holt: she's butt in ropes, stooping forward in earmuff, taking the beating of a lifetime as Cierra squares away to have a go! AND OLIVIA'S SLUGGING BACK! Battered champ showing heart of a lioness: she bares teeth, starts slugging desperate - catching Ramirez hard enough on both jawlines to convince brunette to clinch! Wild hammer and tongs - both girls open-mouthed, stunned...both vixens go wobbly-butt, start slugging sloppy as bell clangs!

R6: Fighters legs are shot, just standing in for of each other exchange sickening right uppercuts to midsections - crowd groaning at the thumping impacts. Cierra hooking Olivia across her hairline, backing her up: blonde check-jabbing, walking challenger's mouth into punches as brunette comes forward. Heads in close, hands at mouths as girls grind foreheads, looking for short power. Heads clash; girls dip and bob on the spot, then come up punching, taking each other viciously in the breadbasket or in behind either elbow. Ramirez tries to separate herself late with vicious, short, inside right uppercuts just clipping away on Holt, Olivia rides her left hand behind Cierra's head, holding her steady for jerking uppercuts. Ramirez rides her right around Holt’s head, joins the party, both fighters just pumpin' 'em in as the fight stalls with both combatants butt-in-ropes. Ref moves in hot at the bell, reads both fighters the riot act as they swoon back blinking against ropes; heads back, chests heaving in exhaustion.

R7: Cierra bull-rushing Olivia, wrapping her up chest to chest, driving her ropeside. Holt wrestling to turn Ramirez in the grasp, bodying HER to ropes...primeval struggle between thighs and buttocks for ring supremacy. Short, inside punching evolves from the scrum - fighters scrubbing hairlines, digging right hands at offending guts, trying to fit tight hooks onto chins to finish. Withering brutality all along the ropes - crowd squealing as both fighters absorb hellish clout for two minutes when suddenly, Cierra lays back sleepy from a trio of close-cropped hooks to chin! Ramirez sliding to her left on ropes, Holt steps-with, sweeps the left uppercut through the strike-zone, then turns over a bashing hook across the jaw to get her staggering-left into corner! Olivia wading in: catches Cierra a fat right hand on the face, dropping her hands to her lap! Holt shifts to her AND STARTS CHOPPING HOOKS! Short, muscular clouts slamming onto drowsy face - crowd up and screaming AND RAMIREZ GOES DOWN! Cierra dropping forward to knees-and-forearms, her forehead on canvas as Olivia staggers away! Ramirez straightening up onto all fours - rickety and trembling...she's left her mouthpiece on the canvas, dimbly fumbling for it with her gloves. IT'S OVER! 10 count passes Cierra by as she's obsessed with picking up her gumshield - she's basically out on her knees, functioning on autopilot. KO7 for the winner and STILL Flyweight Champion, Olivia Holt!
