Before: Fascinating match up sees early favourite Liu drop to even money by fight night as Gellar’s gifts are considered. Liu has the power and legs in this fight, but Gellar with great technique and combination punching one of the better stylists Liu has faced. SMG in white string bikini top, white silk pajama pants, Lucy in red string bikini top, red silk pajama pants—boith girls sporting the long, slick ponytail look.

During 1-2: Liu’s circular movement and hit and run raids have Gellar looking more robotic, defensive than usual. Sarah fighting with a high, tight guard, letting Liu dictate pace, pivoting to stay square as Lucy slides outside, hands down , face inscrutable, Liu pockets both rounds as Gellar lands only sporadically, with glancing shots as Lucy leans away.

R3: Lucy want to slug, test Sarah’s mettle, and the orthodox action more to the blonde’s liking, Gellar able to out punches together as Lucy lines up at close range, and Sarah rips hooks to the breasts and belly, dipping into crouch in between each explosive shot. Gellar

with a clever trailing right hand,. Catches Lucy’s face by surprise several times, leaving Liu frowning, shaking her head at the bell.

R4, 5: Liu back to run and shoot, and Gellar’s punch output drops precipitously. Sarah trying to catch Lucy coming, or leaning back, but the amazin’ Asian too snakey-quick to be caught. Liu able to lean in with hands down, smack Gellar clean, then bend low, writhe out to one side, and come at the blonde from a new angle as Sarah adjusts. Liu content to make contact, hasn’t really set down on her shot as yet, merely tiring Gellar’s body and frustrating her spirit with these awkward rounds,

R6: Liu has Gellar lined up, and the booming uppercuts land this round as Lucy starts leaping into her shots, Gellar leaning forward, gloves high, takes ripping bombs on her shiny face as Liu brings the left uppercut from the ankles, then falls away to her left as Sarah soaks up the punch. Lucy coming at Gellar from all angles has the blonde cut and hurt, and midway through the round Liu lifts a terrifying right uppercut into Gellar’s belly that sucks the life out of Buffy. Sarah slumping to one knee, gasping for air is a pathetic sight, and such smiles a little ling grin at the sight of Sarah trying to beat the count. Lucy taunting, toying with the blonde to the bell as Sarah’s legs tremble.

R7: Another shutout Lucy, but where’s the kill? Liu clowning, humiliating Gellar, touching the blonde’s breasts and belly, then bobbing as Sarah misses repeatedly in response. Boos erupt as the brave blonde is made to look foolish as Lucy takes the time to outclass, but not hurt her this round.

R8: Sarah making the mistake of connecting to Lucy’s face with a curling left hook, and midway through the round, Liu swaying low drags a crushing right hand behind her torso movement to Buffy’s jaw. Sarah clatters to the ropes, trying to stay conscious as Liu walks into her, slapping and swiping wide lefts and rights to the face at the bell.

R9: Lucy clinching some this round as she takes a breather—Sarah able to work inside, putting gloves on Liu’s tummy and breasts. Lucy unhurt, but she’s content to put her gloves at her stomach, bob and sway at the hips to defend this round as Sarah chu8gs dutifully away with tired combinations.

R10: Lucy grinning, bends well below Sarah’s waist, tempting Gellar to poke down with her punches, and Lu able to time a sweeping left counter as she bends right. Sarah stunned, rocked to her left, and Lucy steps with her turning southpaw, stepping right and whipping the left hand sidearm onto Sarah’s face. Gellar bludgeoned onto her back, cut I the mouth, eyes glassy—she takes 8 as Lucy bounces lightly on her toes. Liu back to taunting, bending and slipping in front of Gellar, touching Sarah’s tummy or tits, then saying back out of range to make a point. Sarah looks comical staying so tight and disciplined, and missing so badly to the bell. Unanimous decision Lucy Liu.

After: As the girls stand at center ring for the decision, Sarah so badly battered, lucy barely touched it’s easy to anticipate the decision. Liu won’t let Gellar go that easily—after the decision, as a dejected Sarah traipses back to her corner, Liu runs up from behinds and pants her, pulling the pj’s down around Sarah’s ankles with a mischievous shout. Punctuates an evening in which Liu almost seemed more interested in humiliating Sarah than beating her, although accomplishing both ends.
