BEFORE: "She's gonna get a bellyful from me!" Sophia says, all determined in prefight. "Hayden-busting punches are definitely enough to get Minka in trouble. Can't wait to punch her ugly!" Kelly composed in the face of Sophia's brazen 'tude: "Bush usually looks outgunned at bantam," Minka shrugs. "Hard punching solves her, from what I've seen. Finding her won't be difficult, and I feel like that's all I ask from an opponent: stand in front of me and let me get off. If Bush fights like I know she will, I'm confident I'll do really well against her." Sophia in bright teal bra, dark brown panties; short tan UGG boxing boots; white gloves. During R1: Minka in wide stance - right foot well back: she's braced strong to lead that jolting straight right to Sophia's face. Bush startled - at first halted, then driven back: face-punching Kelly hopping forward in her stance - setting - then maintaining the pulsing right hand leads. Kelly stepping into Sophia - Minka's backside jostling side to side as she commits on right hands from such a sturdy stance: Sophia simply can't stand her ground. Bell to bell Kelly, punching into Sophia with full-bodied gusto: Bush on her heels, can't get off.

R2: Same again: Minka in that well-grounded stance, thrusting right hand leads straight up the middle, taking Sophia to chest and face. Bush knocked about... she's wide-eyed, confused. Right hand lead well established - Minka begins turning over the swift, palm-down left hook chaser - clipping Sophia across her mouth as she's looking frazzled. Demoralizing retreats for Bush as she's systematically backed into ropes, then punished until she can clinch.

R3: Signs of life from Bush as she swaps wide, swinging right hands for Kelly's straight rights: both beauties clouted to face/head. Crowd roaring as girls stand and deliver: gloves bouncing flush off pretty faces, or hooking hard to bouncing breasts. Bruising two way fare gradually turns Minka's way late: she's more resolute, able to face into Bush's work and simply out-will her. Sophia backing away down the stretch: nose bleeding, eyes distraught... that was a good round for her and she lost it anyway.

R4: Good start for Sophia: wide, slow left hands setting up short, sudden, straight rights to startle Kelly. Minka punched out of her stance for the first time - she's disorganized in opening minute, firming in the second as she punches-with toe to toe. Down the stretch, Minka's in her rhythm - placing that straight right up the middle, turning over the hook: Bush staring, routinely getting her head punched back - she's giving ground again.

R5: Bush combative again - drawing her lines in the canvas, standing flat footed and just exchanging hard punches with her foe. Minka's straight right decisive: it's beating Sophia's wide right, and Minka's clipping palm-down hook's starting to buckle Bushy's knees. Down the stretch, HARD straight right/clipping left staggers Sophia: she's staring, mouth open, hands dropping. Minka hooks jug; chops a close-in right to jaw, driving Sophia to ropes. Minka piles in, stacks Sophia up, then romps to body/breasts with both hands. Kelly a sweetheart out of the ring, but she's baring her teeth and really getting after poor Sophia here as Bush ships a beatdown. Bell: ref pulls seething Minka off; Sophia blinking in stupor, looking shabby through 5.

R6: Oh that penetrating lead right hand of Minka's: slamming back Sophia's face, loosening up her legs. Bush a mess - hardly moving her head, eyes unfocused: she's just getting smoked by too many clean, well-leverage punches. Kelly hammering Bush off her stance, backing her up, then battering her at ropes... Bush slumping, hands at temples, shuddering under the beat to her body. Kelly shows variety late, coming off a tremendous waist-bombardment to fit a right uppercut in between Sophia's mitts: Bush jolted, takes it sullen, doesn't answer.

R7: Sophia ragged, desperate - she's winging punches wide, trying for Minka's head. Kelly showing good defensive head movement - bobbing down in her stance, shifting to either side: she's making Bush miss, turning her midring. Kelly more selective, effective - placing those stubby lead rights clean to face - just picking Sophia apart as Bushy's trying to slug her way into the fight. Economical stuff from Kelly: she's throws fewer, but lands more - further reducing shabby Bush through 7.

R8: Minka standing strong, taking punches early as Sophia's power can't match her desperation. Kelly shrugging off Sophia's sock, then drilling her lead rights: penetrative face-punching unravels Bush, driving her to ropes. Kelly hopping forward - punching the right hand in between Bushy's raised mitts, then hooking Sophia's paunch: Bush gasping, slumping in ropes, looking trounced. Peppy side-to-side clubbing of Sophia's breasts: Minka with her lips parted, like she's concentrating hard while softening up Bushy's jugs. Sophia whining, tries a rising right from her hip: Kelly in that braced stance chops in and down with a shorter, straighter right, neatly swiveling Sophia's head, buckling her back (right) knee. Bush spills to her right, corkscrewing as her own right hand sails... she sprawls to her back all eyelashes fluttering, mouth open. That's it - Bush can't get off her back: KO8 Minka Kelly in decisive fashion.

After: Comprehensive destruction of Sophia Bush sees Minka win all 8 rounds, hurting and dominating her foe territorially throughout... it's the best all around performance of Minka's career. "I knew Bush would be available," Minka says prettily. "She's strong, but she's so easy to hit: I just kept teeing her up and belting her all night. She was finding me with a short right off a long hook at one point, but she went away from it and I never let her breathe again. That was the one point in the fight where I thought she might be coming on, but nope: false alarm!"
