(Foxfire Boxing vs Girls Friday)

Intro:

A rematch between two former FCBA welterweight champions, Mandy Moore looks to put her loss to champion Amanda Righetti behind her by beating rival Hilary Rhoda tonight.

Mandy is 35 years old; she stands 5'10, holding a record of 30 wins, 21 coming by way of knockout, with 40 defeats, she is a former three time FCBA welterweight champion.

Hilary is 32 years old; she stands 5'11, holding a record of 28 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 9 defeats, she is a former FCBA welterweight champion.

These two fought back in December 2016, in a rugged fight for both the at the time undefeated Hilary knocked out Mandy in eight rounds.

As they say though times change, Mandy tells journalists at her stables gym as she sits in the office "I am a totally different fighter to what Hilary faced the first time around"

Looking happy as she sits back in the chair, Mandy tells them "when I fought her the first time I wasn't doing great in my career, I let myself slip in training from what made me so successful and she pulled through in the end, though I made her work for it"

Flexing her toned right arm; Mandy grins as she continues "at the start of this year I told myself to get out back to who I am, I have trained harder then I ever have and came so close to putting down Righetti last month, this month I put down Hilary to show you all why I am one of the best in the world"

While at the Girls Friday gym; Hilary gives journalists and their camera crews a show of how she works out, doing yoga, hitting the bags and a little sparring with stablemate Joan Smalls.

When she is done Hilary sits on the ring apron toweling herself down, they says "I'll never forget the first time I fought Mandy, she is as tough as they come, I was sore all week after that fight"

Putting the towel down; Hilary adds "but as she tells people she is refreshed and feels great; I am feeling the same, last year I was in a slump and while I don't have gold around my waist, I feel like I have gotten better"

Stepping off the apron; Hilary finishes by saying "you guys are in for a hell of a fight, I respect Mandy but I am coming to put her career as an elite fighter in the ground, as long as I am around she isn't getting back in the title picture"

Fight night; Mandy comes out with her coach Virginia Madsen beside her, Mandy looks in good spirits as she heads down the aisle.

The actress is wearing a red sports bra with yellow trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves and her red hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Climbing through the ropes into her corner, Mandy raises her fists into the air as her supporters cheer for her, then Moore settles into her warm up routine as she awaits her opponent.

Hilary heads out in front of her coach Melanie Sykes and cut woman Eva Carneiro, she fist bumps a few people in the front row as she gets closer to the ring, all smiles for the Maryland girl.

The model is wearing a baby blue sports bra with white trim, matching trunks with a white "Queenslayer" badge on the waistband, blue shoes, white gloves, her brunette hair is also in a ponytail.

Stepping inside the ring; Hilary blows kisses to her supporters as she gets to her corner, looking focused once she starts warming up herself.

The fighters come to the center of the ring, where they stare each other down, though there is respect between them, both know they are facing tough opposition tonight and a loss puts them right back in the title hunt.

When told to touch gloves, they respectfully do as they are told, turning back to their corners as the crowd roars for them both, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:

As they come out their corners, Mandy is keeping her guard compact as she tries to close the gap between them, Hilary using her jab to keep her back in a cagey start.

Dipping down to get in body shots; Mandy gets shoved back after then caught with a double jab to the top of her head, warding her back to the outside.

The next time Mandy tries to slip inside, Hilary snaps a straight into the top of her head, followed by a left cross that forces the redhead back again.

While Mandy is having some success getting in tighter to work, she is being forced to mostly work at long range, which is suiting Hilary down to a tee with her longer reach.

Late in the round Hilary starts to open up more on Mandy, landing a jab/straight to her nose, followed by a right across the cheek of the actress to force her backwards.

At the bell Mandy thuds her gloves together in frustration, Virginia reminding her to keep her head as they discuss what happened, then what Mandy needs to do better.

Round 2:

At the bell Hilary as expected comes out with her stiff jab, several sneaking through the guard of her opponent to keep her to the outside.

Then a ducking Mandy slips a straight before banging in two rights to the ribs of the lanky model, just missing with an overhand left as Hilary steps back.

But Mandy is in closer, forcing Hilary into more heated exchanges, with a missed left cross from the brunette leaving her open to an overhand right across her jaw to turn her head.

Driving Hilary now around the outside of the ring, Mandy looking more relaxed as she is controlling the pace, stopping Hilary from simply jabbing her lights out.

Two rights to the cheek of Rhoda opens her guard up, a left across her mouth cuts her bottom lip, with the bell ringing to end the round with her looking annoyed as she returns to her corner.

All the while Mandy looks pumped now, Virginia giving her praise but reminding her to keep that focus, Hilary isn't some journey woman that will tumble easily to her.

Round 3:

At the bell both land hard single punches as they circle, Mandy dipping down more while trying to find a way inside the reach of her opponent.

But Hilary is beginning to double up her jab, striking Mandy on her nose enough to open up a cut across the bridge, Mandy wincing each time it is hit.

Slamming a right across the lips of Hilary after deflecting a jab, Mandy almost roars as she moves to the inside, driving back Hilary with body shots as her head dips down towards the chin of the taller fighter.

Who needs to nudge back the redhead to open up space, they reset their stances as they move back to the center of the ring, trading more punches in bunches.

Back and forth goes the action; Hilary starts to back up Mandy with straight shots that knock her head back, then Mandy will find a way past a punch to light up the model with punches to the body or across the face.

When the bell rings to end the round, the fighters glare at their opponent before stepping past them to head to their corners, both knowing they are in for a hard night.

Round 4:

Again they start off circling, Hilary starting to try to step through Mandy with straight punches to the top of her head, knocking sweat off the redhead.

Till she misses with right hook; Mandy comes up with an uppercut that knocks Hilary onto her heels, afterwards Mandy bashes her back to the ropes with a flurry of clean landing punches.

Mandy driving Hilary behind her guard along the ropes, swinging in hooks to the body of the model to make her groan out.

Clinching up with Moore; Hilary looks happy for the break, though Mandy is rubbing the back of the brunette along the ropes, the referee needed to step in to break them apart.

Continuing near the center of the ring; Hilary is back to firing single punches out, Mandy coming forwards with punches into those bloody lips of Rhoda to make her grimace.

Ending up stuck behind her gloves in a shell, Hilary is banged back into the ropes, Mandy looking like a shark that smells blood as she keeps on top of Hilary.

At the bell Mandy pumps her right fist into the air, Virginia wiping her down in her corner as she tells her "that was nigh on a complete shutout babe, she is weakening"

Round 5:

Keeping on top of Hilary from the bell, Mandy is rifling in straights to the body of her opponent, soon forcing her near the ropes as she takes the center of the ring.

Finding herself being pushed around again, Hilary looks like she is gritting her gumshield, she manages to land a double jab/straight combo into the top of the older fighters head as her guard lowers.

As Mandy lands a right to the body; Hilary lands a left hook to her ear, both wince but it's Rhoda who lands the follow up punch first, an uppercut on the chin of Moore now to knock her back.

Five punches follow to smack back the head of Moore, blood and sweat fly off as she finds herself driven right across the ring to the opposite set of ropes.

Pulling Hilary into a clinch; Mandy now needs the moment as Hilary presses her upper body into the actress, making the clinch uncomfortable as she can.

They are broken apart with Mandy moving off the ropes, landing straight shots in their opponents lips, both are scowling as they begin to slug it out.

The round comes to a close with Hilary now raising her right fist in the air, Mandy nods before they head back to their corners, coaches giving them advice as they are cleaned up, about to head into the second half of the fight.

Round 6:

Not as much on their toes now as they are landing heavier punches, both wince when they get caught by a nasty looking punch.

Mandy manages to step inside to land a right to the ribs, again though she is clubbed across the side of her head by a right hook this time, sending her to the side a step.

When the next clash at the center of the ring, Hilary shoves Mandy to her face with her left, then lands a right hook on the chin of Moore that seems to rock her.

Mandy tries to cover up but takes a jab/straight/left hook that smacks her head around, NEAR A CORNER MANDY TRIES TO CLINCH AND TAKES A RIGHT HOOK ON HER JAW, DOWN TO ALL FOURS SHE GOES!

The crowd roar as Hilary pounds her chest with her right glove, glaring at Mandy before she goes to the neutral corner, ready for the count to begin.

1...2...3... Mandy shakes her head as she stares at the canvas, 4...5...6...7.. When she tries to stand up, she stumbles backwards, 8...9.. Ending up sitting in the corner, she looks up to see 10 she has been counted out!

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 6

After:

A big knockout win for Hilary, she keeps marching on back towards a title shot with wins like these, pounding her chest with her right she heads to the center of the ring to bask in cheers from her supporters.

All the while Mandy has to checked on by the ringside doctor, she begins to pull herself to her feet, taking a moment to lean against the turnbuckles till her head fully clears up.

Virginia checks on Mandy too, with the coach telling her "you did well tonight babe, you had her hurt" but that doesn't exactly make Mandy feel any better.

Back to her corner Mandy is helped by Virginia; sitting on her stool, Mandy tosses off her gloves in anger, Virginia telling her to hold her head high, tonight just wasn't her night is the words from the coach, making Mandy say "thanks for trying to keep my spirits up"

Across the ring Hilary is getting washed down by Eva, Melanie telling her "you had me worried there, then you reminded me you are a hell of a fighter" making them both smile.

Hilary looking excited to come to the center of the ring, Mandy the other side of the referee doing as her coach told her, keeping her head up as Hilary gets hand raised by the referee.

After pumping her fists into the air, Hilary makes sure to put out a fist towards Mandy, a sign of respect reciprocated by the redhead.

Mandy then heads out the ring with her corner crew behind her side, Virginia patting her on the back as she tells her that things will turn back around again.

While inside the ring Hilary poses for cameras with her hands on her hips, grinning as Melanie and Eva stand behind her, all laugh after the photos are done and they joke about looking like a girl band.

Leaving the ring together as they head to the back, Hilary gives the crowd at a bow at the top of the aisle, they dubbed this a rebuilding year for Hilary, it certainly has went well so far with not long left of the year to go.
